Terrible experience. The shoes were clearly mislabeled—way smaller than a standard size 2—and they refused in-store returns. I paid extra just to send them back. Inaccurate sizing, poor customer service, and zero accountability. Never buying here again.

Bought a lovely pair of Hush Puppies boots from QVC. They are supposed to be waterproof but they were suede so I thought it wouldn’t hurt to get a waterproof protector just to make sure. Thought I’d buy from hush puppies. It was shipped quickly and well packaged except that they forgot to include a lid and it’s a spray bottle. Anyway I rang them up and they told me I had to write in and enclose a picture of the bottle without its lid. Four days later, I get a standard reply asking me to return the order making sure that the boots or shoes were in a saleable condition! So obviously no one had even read the email I sent. I took a lid off another product but really can’t they even put a lid on a spray bottle?. I don’t think I’ll be buying shoes or boots from them direct if this customer Services is anything to go by.

I just want to say how disappointed I am. My daughter’s school shoes have broken after only a few weeks of wear. I’ve already sent photos and emails to your customer service address and even tried calling, but I haven’t received any response.

It’s now reached the point where my daughter has to go to school in trainers because her school shoes are broken — which really shouldn’t be the case after such a short time. I bought Hush Puppies because I believed they were good quality, so I’m extremely disappointed by both the product and the lack of customer care.

I needed to return an order due to quality issues.
I did not anticipate having return as I researched carefully, looking at reviews and so sized down.
The length for my foot is perfect but the width is ridiculously large and the slipper gapes at the sides. This means that my foot slips to the side, off the high sole: this is dangerous and risks my twisting an ankle.
So this is not a size problem. The problem is the way it is made.
Hush Puppies say that I have to pay the cost of return, which I would accept if it was a size problem.
That say that it is a size issue and not a manufacturing fault- it is the latter as no one’s foot would be held securely in this bad design.
I did not expect to return this product, but I have no choice.

I am shocked at the poor design and lack of attention to detail from Hush Puppies. I have worn their shoes in the past and been happy with them.
The product looked great in terms of design and colour-way, online, but in reality it cannot fit properly because of poor design and also looks cheap and shoddily made.
I will never buy Hush Puppies again not just because of quality but the poor customer service.

My daughter really liked the shoes. She said they were comfortable and they looked good. Unfortunately the patent started to peel after only a few weeks at school but Hush puppies were helpful and issued me a refund without any hassle.

If I could give zero stars I would!

Having been a customer of Hush Puppies for MANY years I decided to treat myself to 3 new pairs of shoes. I was in love with the velvet green ballet flats and popped them on and wore them to work. T which point it was pointed out to me by 5 people that the shoes were two different colours!!!

I looked and they were right!! One is almost black in colour and the other a much more vibrant green.

I was mortified :(

Contacted customer service straight away. They took over a week to reply to my message (asking just for my order number - although in my initial message I had already provided this and photos). Then I heard nothing for almost a week - so I chased and was told that the case had been passed to the QC team.... another few days... nothing... chased again... only to be told that nothing wrong with the shoes and they wouldn't replace. This is despite me showing VERY clearly the different in colour.

I now have a £65 pair of shoes I can not wear and I am shocked with how dismissive HP were. I am a long standing customer and I have never faced such difficulty and poor customer service and as such my relationship with HP has ended.

Very disappointed.....

One shoe was bigger than the other. Even though they both had same size embedded on the soles.

Ordered a pair of their suede effect lace up shoes for women, arrived in a timely manner but even though I sized up they are too small by far. To return is going to cost me, which I didn't realise as most shoe retailers are free returns. So I won't be buying from them again.

Having read the reviews regarding the shoes and how soft and comfortable they were I expected a soft leather being under the impression that Hush Puppies were made of soft leather. However, the leather is so hard I could not get my feet into the shoes so have to return them. On top of that I have to pay to return shoes which I had not realised when I ordered them. Yes, it states Free Saver deliveries, Every day but I should have read the small print as to returning an item. Very disapppointed and will not be buying Hush Puppies again.

The boots arrived damaged with the stitching loose and scuffs on the side. I returned the boots and it took me to chase HP over a week later to follow up on my refund. When I eventually got an email re refund, it says it's going to take 10 days to appear in my account. What a waste of time and money. I will never buy this brand again.

Beware, hush puppies, although their shoes are very comfortable to wear my experience is that their shoe laces are in tatters in under two weeks. When you complain to them they tell you how unusual it is because they never get complaints. Well I complained (having jumped through several hoops first) but they just didn't want to know, useless, just like their laces. All I wanted was some better quality laces.

I would recommend Hush Puppies to anyone out there, who is looking for quality footwear 100%, customer service are so helpful too, definitely ☆☆☆☆☆ from me, I have bought the Hush Puppies brand for years, it's a name I trust.

Shocking customer service from Hush Puppies. I have emailed and messaged with no acknowledgement from them. I received a defective pair of trainers and sent a photograph of them. I don't see why I should have to pay the postage to return them when they are at fault.

I had just ordered 3 pairs of size 8, which is my normal shoe size , European size 41.5 or 42. None of them fit because they all were European size 41. I find it outrageous that they don’t just describe the correct size , that means online buying is a lottery. As you have to pay for return and customer service is totally unhelpful it is such a waste of money

I made a mistake on my order and my email communication was replied to promptly and efficiently by Charlotte…big thank you to her. The boots ordered were delivered in really good time and of high quality as expected

I have always trusted this brand but not any more. I have always bought size 8 (even though I am size 7.5) because I like to wear tights or socks. I recently bought a pair of loafers and a pai of mules and both were too small even in bare feet. What makes it worse is, I have to pay to return them because the company is lying about the sizes.

I complained to the company directly about poor quality of their Jasper slip on shoes. The cushioning was seriously lacking, you could feel the pavement. They were difficult to put on even after a long while, they actually tore at the back from being pulled.

Their customer service just didn't care. They were more interested in wether they had any legal responsibility to deal with the complaint.

Hush Puppies has been my favourite brand of shoes since the days of my teen. Their online site is well designed and they are fast with shipping, The choices offered are varied and comprehensive and the prices are reasonable for the quality on offer. The also always have very attractive deals and discounts. Keep up the good work!
