Hello world‼️ I am extremely frustrated with HyreCar right now!! I decided to rent out my 2022 Hyundai Kona, to make some extra cash. After only 2 rentals...I'm a bit discouraged. I had renter to check in and was uncertain about her check out day. I communicated to her that I was gone set the date, so that we could just be done (at this point my car was in her possession) and prepare for the check out. The you lady sent a few messages, that I thought was out of line, about my car. She then decided to let me know that(in a text)...that she couldn't return my car because I should have let her keep my car, she didn't have gas money, and she had to go to work. She gave "me" the option to pick up my car. She left my car in the back of an apartment complex...with my key on the passenger door. She would only text, not answer. She said that she communicated with customer service,, but they didn't reach out to me. I have 20x's...left several emails...to include pictures and our messages. The call kept dropping and now, someone is returning messages to my email...asking for receipts. No, problem, but from my attempts to reach someone and was only left the option to email(a live chat wasn't an option )...I'm confused. The purpose of the check in and out pics, and the option to file a claim, should be more than enough. Moving forward and after reading reviews, I will be adding my vehicle to another platform. Thanks HyreCar for the awesome experience.

I rented a car and the owner before I could extend my rental he rented the car out. Where the hell do they do that at . I don't think hyre car should be in business. There customer service is no good. Their communication is no good. The right thing to do should have did was called and asked was I going to need the car any longer before he rented it out to someone else. Poor excuse for a business . They didnt give me 75 in my account like they said for the first 3 day rental. I spent almost 800 for this ride less than a week.

By far this is the worst ride-share rental app on the database and should be removed entirely!
1. They false advertised the vehicle on the app to make it seem like it’s brand new when really it had a cracked windshield, there was scratches and dents everywhere, ants invaded the inside because the vehicle was not properly cleaned, the steering wheel was falling apart, and the engine light came after 5 miles of driving the vehicle
2. I could not use my rental for two days because Hyercar posted the wrong registration on the app and UBER would not accept it. They reached out to the owner for a refund request but when the owner declined because he stated it was HyreCar fault because he gave the right registration the second time, HyreCar then wiped their hands from the situation and basically stated their policy states I agree with everything that comes with the car upon renting even though I never agreed for the wrong registration obviously! They never reimbursed me for THIER MISTAKE even though it was promised by multiple agents!
3. Their customer support is basically a JOKE! The first time I called regarding my registration issue, the agent answered the phone like he just got out of bed yawning and not fully awake to understand the purpose of his job then when he advised me that he will put me on a hold he instead hung up on me! Every time I call, the agents are either very unprofessional and not serious about their job, rude and disrespectful, or rushing you off the phone! I even had a agent lied to me about his name when I asked because I called again and he said he just spoke to me regarding my situation but provided me a different name at the beginning of the call and laughed when I mentioned it.
4. Even after the owner arranged to pick up the vehicle because the vehicle broke down they are still attempting to charge my card and still has it on the app as if I still have the vehicle in hand! What a way to rip-off peoples hard earned money plus I got a newer vehicle with hertz for way less and a lot less hassle. Should have went that route the first time but never again I learned!
Seems like they are more good at replying to bad reviews so they won’t seem like they are not responsive but all you really gonna get is an email stating that according to policy they still can’t help you out! What a joke business!

Ummm many of the car companies/lenders don’t reply to messages. Owners actually lie about how many miles they are from you. The cars of personal owners that I have rented from were jacked up with misleading pics. The app sucks PERIOD! You can’t read previous messages without going back out of the app. The chat waiting for customer service is super annoying. This whole company gives me severe anxiety. Your better off renting and paying more for a company.

Renter got a ticket while renting my vehicle he did not notify me about it nor paid it. I received a letter to appear in court over the issue and was ordered to pay $127.75. I paid it contacted HyreCar and was told to contact Voi, after i sent the email I was told that they cannot reimburse me for the ticket, fines and court costs over this matter and to instead work it out with the renter myself which has been ignoring me. This company should not be in business.

Horrible Company. All over they advertise you can rent a car through them to drive lyft, false. They'll lie through their support chat that conveniently deletes itself after the conversation is done. I rented a car and within 3 hours was contact by lyft saying they don't accept hyre car. I was then told by hyre car support they would reimburse me for the inconvenience of spending money to get to their pick up locations and back all within the same day. A week later no reimbursement went through and when I reach out they said I was wrong and would have to pay for the day. refused to go back through that support chat that conveniently deletes itself after the conversation is done.

Horrible company to rent your car on!!!!! No sense or security for owners. Almost every customer I’ve rented my car either damaged my car or had issues returning the car back to my possession. HyreCar make you do all the leg work and are quick to say they can’t cover cost of towing and impound fees unless the drive has had an accident. Mind you that I had a big issue in an unauthorized driver wrecked and literally totaled my car and they said they denied coverage while the car was rented under their platform!!!!! They have no sense of urgency to your issues unless you call and cuss them out. Would not recommend!!!! DON’T PUT YOUR CAR IN THIS PLATFORM!!!!

I've rented 6 cars so far. The owners do not clean the cars between drivers. The cars are dirty and are not well maintained. They often have sh***y breaks, tire issues. I called hyrecar and they expect the renter to make an agreement with the owner to get the car cleaned on the driver's time. And the price for daily rentals is 20 plus the amount listed daily to cover fees and insurance. Not worth if you do not drive lyft or uber full time. Only use hyrecar as a last option. Not worth it.

Man I wish I could leave a good review but the Atlanta office Amerdrive have drop the ball. 1st time using the app. Return my car 3hr before deadline and they haven't completed the account. Now my account has been charged extra 100 because they have done there part. And only thing Hyer can do is send a email. Not fair, they taking my money with no remorse or regard of me

Wow worst experience with hyrecar and lyft. BEWARE OF HYRECAR
Hyrecar states on their website the cars can be used for uber and lyft, after 2 days of trying to get it on the platform and having to get a $39.95 inspection for lyft. Lyft is saying you can only rent from express drive on the Lyft platform
called hyrecar asking for refund since they specifically state their cars can be used for lyft and they said it's a recent programming problem from lyft and I should have submitted all documents ( registration, insurance and inspection) from hyrecar to lyft before I picked up car to make sure, but I didn't get them until I picked up the car. And why would I think I need to when their website says they are partnered with lyft?

My car was only rented once on Hyrecar and I suffered extensive financial damages that are still unresolved, listed below:
1- the renter did not pay the last 9 days of the rental payment (close to $300)
2- Renter refused to return the car, Hyrecar customer service recommended that I report the car stolen, DC police had to tow the car and I had to pay $130 to pick up the car from the tow parking lot.
3- I received a $300 ticket for the time the car was rented out, the last message from hyrecar is that they will take care of it. It's 5 months later, nothing has been done!
4- The renter used my toll pass for close $60 and refused to pay the costs. and Hyrecar did not do anything about this either.
All and all my experience with Hyrecar was absolutely the worst possible, the costs of the renter's actions pretty much cancelled out any earning. and Hyrecar has done nothing to help!

So my Experience with the car app wasn’t really too good I didn’t enjoy it at all. When it came to talking to customer service during the chat I talked to somebody name Jose they gave horrible customer service and was trying to give me their opinions on my money. I ended the chat and started talking to a new person named (SAYURI RIVAS ) helped me in less than 5mins . MOST DEFINITELY THE BEST OUT OF EVERYBODY THEY KEPT GIVING ME TO. CHAT WITH
