Purchasing the card was easy. It was easy to add multiple cards to one app and scan everyone in at once. We used the 48-hour card for public transit (including to Schipol airport), discounted 1/2 day... See more

We had a great time using the card while in the city. It made getting around super easy. The boat cruise and bike rental were so much fun! The down side was not being able to use the card for the train, for the area around the tulip fields, or to get out to see the fortress. We felt limited to just the city and that was frustrating.

The all inclusive museum and Publix transportation pass was very helpful. It was clear which museums you still had to book a day or time slot. We were not able to get a bike rental at a convenient location; however we did not book a slot ahead of time. After seeing the crazy local bikers around town we were definitely not disappointed that we did not get a bike! We used the bus system and trams with the card. We used it for 4 museums as well.

If you’re staying at or within about 10 minutes of Amsterdam Centraal, this card can be a great option since it gives you access to GVB trams, buses, and some trains. However, it doesn’t cover all transport providers which are used in others areas. I’d also recommend to buy it when you arrive rather than in advance, as you might end up paying extra for transport services that aren’t covered.

Easy to use for public transit and very cost effective if you’re planning to visit museums and other landmarks!

Convenient easy to use card. Went to the Rijksmuseum and the canal tour, and used the Metro. Easy to use and saved money and hassle. I enjoyed Amsterdam a lot, thanks!

Easy to use. Got the most out of it for the day.
Only 4 Stars because customer service was not helpful, didn't understand my question and only referred to other links. Anyway, I could solve the problem by myself.

Great for transit and we were able to get into all the museums and attractions that we had planned on and a few that we just came across. You do need to book timed tickets for some of the more popular attractions but this is easily done on-line. We choose to get hard copy passes and picking them up at at the store at Amsterdam Central was easy and the staff there very helpful.

Very easy to use, made travelling on trams and visiting attractions simple and cost effective. Highly recommend.

Card could be used many places, saved a lot of money, was very useful to use on the trams. The app gave good details about sights to see, & linked to directions.

Loved the card. So many amazing admissions, transportation, and experiences. I think this is the best way to see Amsterdam!

The iAmsterdam card made it very convenient to travel and get into venues. It was not clear what was and was not covered. The card was activated at the train station when we tried to use it for the train; rather than when we actually were able to use it hours later. That made the usable t I me we paid for much shorter.

We rented a bicycle and enjoyed. It was wonderful to use city pass and visit many museums. If this pass can include taking the train, I'm willing to pay more.

City card is excellent for visiting museums and public transport.

I bought it for one day, gone to Rijk museum, my Q R code was not opening.

Lots of great experiences—I like that we can also travel using the tram and subways. However, the QR code is inconvenient to use because you need to have it open and ready. I would much prefer to add it to my Apple wallet, so I can turn it on and off with ease. Since the GVB app does not have this function, I believe iamsterdam will benefit greatly.
