Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 1,280 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many customers appreciate the app's ease of use and its ability to replace traditional coupons, helping them save money on groceries and discover new products. Some users find the process of linking store accounts and receiving rebates to be quick and efficient, with money appearing in their accounts promptly. The customer service is also highlighted by some as being responsive and helpful in resolving issues. However, some customers frequently encounter problems with the app not recognizing purchased items or correctly processing receipts, leading to missing cash back or bonuses. There are also concerns about offers disappearing after purchase and difficulties with the refund process, with some feeling the app is unreliable in paying consumers. Additionally, some reviewers express frustration with the limited availability of relevant offers and issues with scanning barcodes or updating product information.

Ibotta almost always gets it right. Though I am still missing cash from the Clorox Bleach offer from 5-22-26, as my review of this purchase is still pending. Thank you for looking at it again!

I purchased on 5/22/26 two boxes of Jimmy Dean Sausage Spiral Croissants which I scanned to verify at the store. When I redeemed for cash back I again had to scan them. Now I didn’t receive the reward and want to know why. It was plainly shown on the receipt as JD sausage spiral.

Incorrect credit

I purchased four Dannon Light and Fit Yogurt at Food Lion on 5/21/26 and only received credit for 1 . I had to purchase two containers to qualify for the .$75. The receipt clearly marked 4 containers were purchased. Please correct.
Thanks you.

It was horrible and very frustrating

It was horrible and very frustrating. Sales changing between order & pick up. That is NOT FAIR!!! Especially to a disabled person!!! This has happened to me many times in the last few months. I am in the top 1% of Savers on this app & I am ready to close my account & leave.
Maybe that’s what you want me to do.

Last week I submitted the rebate offer…

Last week I submitted the rebate offer for Blue Buffalo Nudges. Two bags. I was only given “one” rebate. Fred Meyer had on sale buy one get one. I had let that go and did not contest that rebate because I did not want to waste my time arguing this. The rebate reappeared again this week and I took advantage of the offer again yesterday. I scanned my “Nudges” before checkout and it appeared valid. When I got home and tried to redeem that offer it required me to scan items. When I scanned the Nudges they did not register. I scanned a different flavor of the same offer and now you are refusing it. I regularly say 5 to 10 percent of my redemptions do not go through but I “let it slide. Example. On last weeks redemption for Nudges ibotta also offered a rebate for any dog treat. I did not receive that either. Hmmmm. I’m losing my trust and satisfaction. Thanks for your time. I look forward to your reply

Missing earnings

I've been using this app for a long time. But recently I've noticed that some items are not being added to my CASH BACK earnings. I always make my list ahead of time, scan and before I submit I double check and items I've purchased are not in the earning so I manually scan the barcode which it then adds the cash earnings two the list then I submit.
This time, I went through the same thing. I double checked before submitting. I scanned the barcode for the item that did not come up automatically even though I had checked it before scanning the receipt. And I just got an email, and they had not included that amount in my earnings.
Another tip is to make sure you've checked all the items you're gonna purchase. Because if you have a store linked, and you buy something that you could get earnings on but you did not check it beforehand you will not get the earnings.
