AVOID

AVOID - There are so many other alternatives to this company! There is no customer service and you’ll be lucky if you receive your item, let alone a refund in timely manner. Please don’t make the same mistake, 40% negative reviews speaks for its self.

Shocking!!

Bought a set of lamps and opened them to find a sticker on them saying the lamps were not compatible with led bulbs or dimmable bulbs however the law has changed so that all bulbs now have to be led. These lamps were sold but there is no bulbs compatible with them so the lights are completely useless. I emailed customer service for advice and to see if they were safe to use and what I should do and was completely ignored!! I noticed a few days after my email they had reduced the price of the lamps even further to a fraction of there original price so there probably aware of the fault with these lamps and trying to fob them off quickly. You think that a company who specialises in lights would be up to date with the laws changing around led light bulbs and check what stock wasn't compatible with led bulbs before selling on to customers who can't buy bulbs because they don't exist anymore making the lights completely unusable.

Would give zero stars if possible

Would give zero stars if possible. Purchased a light in good faith thinking it wouldn’t be damaged. My bad for not checking it until I moved in to my house. Got in touch with their customer service dept (computer says no kinda guy response) no empathy whatsoever. Did not want to know my situation! Contacted social media team who are apparently looking in to this for me since 18/11/19 heard nothing back even after chasing numerous times. Awful company would never recommend. Bad quality products. Light switch on lamp doesn’t even work!

You clearly don’t address adverse customer feedback....

My experience was unfortunately consistent with many other customers. Exceptionally slow delivery, an acceptable product, but comms from one member of the team was rather condescending tell me “not to panic” when the advertised product delivery date had been missed. Doubtful that I’ll use them again. The feedback suggests this type of behaviour is not being addressed.

I ordered 2 light shades and a light…

I ordered 2 light shades and a light fitting. Arrived on the date they said, all in one piece, even the large glass one which was quite heavy. Always a bit dubious about ordering online but I’m not disappointed at all with my order.

Excellent value and prompt delivery.

WE bought a couple of light fittings from Iconic. A really nice contemporary bedroom chandelier and a cube bathroom light fitting. Both lovely and cost less than other places not on line.
There is a great selection of lights on the web site and some really good bargains.

So bad that they really don’t want to sell

Tried to have information from their “customer service” and was treated like a leper. They clearly don’t bother reading what you write them. So they missed out on my potential purchase. Can’t really say if they sell, because they made it impossible for me to buy from them

Highly recommend

I couldn’t recommend iconic lights highly enough. Great products, fair pricing and when I have had an issue it has been dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner! Very impressed and will most definitely order again in the future!

Have you forgotten something?

Have ordered a few times over the last 2 years have happy with their products, and am expecting delivery today re another order. I what I did not like was a logo appearing on my laptop screen saying 'have you forgotten something?' I may well now be past 'my sell by date' but generally memory is very good. Had I left something in my basket? I think not and went through the pay page with no problem Email was sent to the company asking what I may or had forgotten, seems nothing!!! think this appears everytime you go onto the site - even if just viewing. Respectfully suggest not a good idea as customers in their 70's really could do without this suggestion that they may have 'forgotten something'

Terrible

Terrible. I purchased a ceiling fan and when I came to put it we broke the glass. I called them to purchase a replacement glass didn’t want it for free as it was our fault. Customer service was terrible. They said they didn’t supply replacements although they said they were the manufacturer. They said I would have to purchase a whole new light. Shocking company would never use again. Steer clear

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Bought lamp on the website and the same lamp on Amazon by the same company was £20.00 cheaper!!! Called up and was told “tough” you should have shopped around. Read the reviews the customer service is appalling, horrible, rude and not one once of customer service. Will post this review everywhere I can and will never use them again.

Shocking customer service, extremely poor quality lights and false advertising

I do not like to go out of my way even of I have had a negative experience to actually write a review, however on this occasion I absolutely HAVE to warn the public about this company.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend Iconic lights as from the moment I received both my orders (the second order being placed before I notice the minor defect on my first roof light) I have encountered serious issues. Firstly, there are some staff in the company that are wise with their customer service and understand how to resolve issues however there are others that are out there to make your life an absolute misery. I have never in my life encountered such serious attitude and quite simply bullying tactics from a member of staff. I was point blank refused and blocked from speaking with management to address this concern by this very person. I requested not to be contacted by her and only by a manager to resolve the issue and low and behold I received a telephone call from this lady. The issued began with my first order having minor damage, something I was going to let go, then however my second order arrived and the first light I opened was not what I ordered it had been falsely advertised online as being a difference size and I had already scheduled an electrician to come. Thankfully the lovely lady Shelby resolved this for me quite quickly. I then discovered when the lights were up how shockingly bad the lights I ordered for the wall were . The glass was chipped cut in the most terrible way and ballooned. Different colours and dangerous.. Laughable quality to be honest but I had already placed the lights on the wall the shades were the problem. And my goodness did they become a problem. In particular trying to get replacements. There is one member of staff who seems to control the other team members within that centre and she blocked every attempt at me trying to get this issue resolved easily. I finally got through to them that all I wanted was replacement shades and attachments to connect to the walls as they were also drilled incorrectly. Finally after opening 6 boxes they found a "matching" pair. 6 boxes of defects..... That says it all. I got the replacement pair and they were ballooned at the top and chipped but fair play they were much better than the first set. However they did not hang correctly because of that defect at he top. Feeling totally defeated as I was just dreading having to phone I called and was promised a phone back the next day but they never came so I phoned through to a different connection and got Shelby again. She helped get the thing sorted in two minutes. I returned the horrible shades and got a measley refund... After the stress and the absolute horrendous Service i just took the £12 and ran. BE AWARE EVERYONE, IS THE STRESS REALLY WORTH IT!

Order never showed. Avoid!

Been waiting ages for my order , contacted them and they said they would get it chased up. I then got a email from them saying they tried to deliver my parcel but no one was in. We were in all day and had no missed you card left us. I contacted IL about this, they said they couldn't find our address, which is not hard no one has had trouble before. I contacted them again they said it would get delivered next day. Still waiting no one has showed! Wont order from here again.

Disgraceful heap of junk

Disgraceful heap of junk! Bought table lamp, small and on the pricey side. Arrived with glass ball in the middle broken but no glass anywhere in the box so must have been shipped out that way! Screw at top doesn't connect just swivels round uselessly so whole stand is floppy and loose, could hardly get light bulb in but when I eventually did it hummed loudly, not fit for any purpose other than the bin, it's an danger and a hazard!!! No industry standard compliance here whatsoever!
