I was trying to get info re tax refund. The steps for signing on thru ID.me were clear though the tasks were new to me - like the selfie. I appreciate the security but at one point feared that I might have entered a phishing site. But it all worked! And the IRS site had my info!

Made my experience using IRS website easier

Complicated. Invasión of privacy and personal space. REQUIRES ALL YOUR PERSONAL INFO - you know, the stuff the hackers want.
REQUIRES a smart phone.

And after all that? Still couldn’t get in to the site i was trying to get in to.

BTW, I already had an ID.me account. Why am i being put third this crap?

And now i have to SIGN IN AGAIN just to leave s review. WTF?

I am a very senior citizen but was able to navigate the system without assistance,
But have not been able to locate where to
Enter my banking info for a refund.

Could not find where to update personal info. Specifically bank info.

The person I was on the call with was very rude and very unprofessional. He saw I was having trouble yet never helped me out fully with the camera situation. He was shaking his head acting all frustrated as I was having trouble. The employee needs to go through training. He was a black man kind of light skin with glasses. Do better and the process was just horrible all in all. Train your employees better because their people skills are terrible and that’s their whole job. DO BETTER. Yall look like you scam folks too.

Hate that you must give up your biometrics now in order to get in. I did reluctantly just so I could turn off everything and go back to printed copies mailed to me. The government now has our biometrics (facial recognition) in their files. I don't trust them for this! Get ready for the mark of the beast and controlling every aspect of our lives. Agenda 2030 is coming fast. We will own nothing and be happy. Go back to paper copies.

ID me is trustworthy! They'll keep you secure for sure!

This company and their WEB site are both worthless. Confusing, poor service, no support. It would be a service to the public if they were put out of business.

Terrible experience. My documents were rejected with no explanation. My phone number was even rejected and I needed access to a secondary phone to complete the process.

Great way for future generations and quick interaction. Paperless, no waiting time

ID.me is a total waste of cyberspace. I've attempted to upload, front and back, of my drivers license numerous times at different times and dates. To no avail!.

PLEASE, someone bulldoze this site down and rebuild a site that can really be used effectively and efficiently!

It really wasn't as scary as I thought it would be!! I had more problems trying to get into the IRS app. I'll try it again tomorrow!! Fingers crossed!!!

Hated every second of it. Very confused, kept getting stuck in the spinning hand of eternity & getting no where. Didn't accept my phone number, think the whole thing is a pile of crap

Easier than our experience with other government sites

I wish all of this was unnecessary.I hate doing so many things online,and having to verify everything.I'm tired of this whole experience.

Easy process, accomplished what I needed it for.

Everything about this is confusing. Even this survey paints me into a corner.
