Very good website with a good cheap reliable product. Would of gotten 5 only for the fact their shipping was very slow, especially considering that I paid for express shipping

Left with an expensive glorified brick…

Left with an expensive glorified brick after months of struggling with the software glitches on my iPhone SE.

I bought an "A" grade refurb iPhone SE less than a year ago. This was not a cheap phone to buy, almost immediately I found I had to restore the phone constantly and the final nail in the coffin came recently, when it went into recovery mode and could no longer be restored. YABphones never replied to my emails querying this problem. Apple are unable to help. My local authorised repair person can't fix it. $450 down the drain.

Avoid this dodgy company.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Bought a iPhone 6s off them. I paid extra for quicker delivery but it turns out there’s a 2 week waitlist to get it out of the warehouse and another 2 weeks after that.

The phone turned out to be problematic so I asked for a refund as it was within their month guarantee but had my problems with this as well. Fast forward 6 months and got them to confirm they had my phone and they’re going to give a refund (that was last February).

If you live in Ireland you have to ring England who pass on your message as they’re not able to deal with it but you never hear back, same as emails.

I’ve let YABphones know about this review (I don’t think they’ll respond though) so they can have their say

Terrible no phone took money supposed to give refund

Terrible - my daughter order a phone after a month of asking when it was coming they said to cancel order as they can't provide the phone - sent numerous emails after this asking for refund - no response from YAB at all, just want her money back - she's 16 and worked hard to save to buy the phone in first place. They were the ones that said to cancel as they don't have the phone but then there is no response when we request the order be cancelled for this reason. Would have given lower than 1 star if I could have but 0 wasn't an option

Received an unusable phone, they won't help. It's a scam.

I received the iPhone I ordered, but its cellular reception was so bad that the phone was effectively unusable.

So, I lodged a return/repair ticket. No luck: no address on their website to send the phone for repair (there's a 'Sydney service centre', but no address is listed), their phone number is disconnected and hidden from the view, and they don't respond to other forms of contact.

Don't buy from Yabphones. It's a scam.

Buy from Yab if you want poor service and product quality.

I like many below have had one or more problems with my phone - purchased as a gift for our daughter. The returns process is painfully slow, file types and size required via processes are large and problematic to share.
I have now been returned a "repaired phone" but all accessories are missing and phone is not usable. This has taken 5 months. Make up your own minds but i am not in a position to recommend the company, the services offered or the products. Keep your money in your pocket to spend with others that can offer support and service to support your selected product.

Bought phone which did not function

Bought phone which did not function. Could not receive calls and it "glitched" all the time. Very difficult returns process- had to send video file of the phone being started and not working but the uplink could not take a file of that size. Eventually was given a returns code and address. They have received the phone back and then took another 6 weeks to confirm fault. Now 3 mths later, still no money. We email about twice a week and get a standard response from them. Don't go near them. They are rip offs.

YABphones has stolen my money

YABphones has stolen my money. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

On 21 August 2017, YABphones debited my credit card the sum of $250.95 and subsequently supplied a 32Gb Apple iPhone 5S (refurbished).
The phone arrived looking great. It was charged and set up but the battery discharged within a couple hours. The next couple charges lasted no longer, and soon the phone refused to charge or to wake up at all.

The phone was returned to YABphones (at my expense, which they said they'd reimburse, and after numerous email communications) and on 27 November, THREE MONTHS LATER, YABphones' Angelica, via email, confirmed the "technical team confirmed that the returned item is dead on arrival" (the phone was supplied from, and evaluated in, Hong Kong). She further said, "Please advise if you want a replacement or refund."

I replied: "If it can be confirmed that I will get a WORKING replacement promptly I will accept a replacement. Note that I’m unimpressed with the extreme lengths of time it takes to get a reply from your firm and to confirm that the phone I returned was, in fact dead on arrival. Please advise when I will get a replacement. Will it actually be this month or even this year?"

It's now March 2018 and I've had no replacement, no refund to my credit card. Emails go unanswered and attempts to do live chat on their website, call their help line (in Tasmania) have failed... long waits with no-one answering at the other end.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Bought an iphone and it lasted 2 months and then died. Have been trying for 6 months to get a refund or exchange and have been given the run around. Emailed, phoned, emailed, phoned and still no closer to getting it resolved.

We purchased a refurbished iPhone 6 …

We purchased a refurbished iPhone 6 Plus from YAB Phones (against my best thoughts) and while we received the phone in good timing etc have not had a good experience with the phone.
We ordered early as a Christmas present and had it stored in the packaging and box and was only opened on Christmas day, thats when the trouble started.
the screen is faulty and the incorrect buttons are activated causing the phone to lock and freeze.
We contacted YAB Phones CS team and go the run around, they said they weren't receiving the information we were sending and then they said we had the phone for 3 months and not reported any issues even though I had let them know it had been stored as a Christmas present.
Not getting any responses from the CS team and the last time I spoke to them they were rude and blamed us for the delays. Has been going on for about 4 weeks now and still no closer to getting an address to return the phone for replacement or credit

WARRANTY NOT WORTH WHAT IS WRITTEN - supposed to be 12 months but will take longer for their CS team to resolve

Best I have is a "pending" RMA number - RMA552-1638

I bought a phone as a birthday present …

I bought a phone as a birthday present for someone and they dispatched a week after I paid, only after I chased them for updates so this was a pretty bad start.

When I finally received the phone, I noticed that the GPS was not working at all and the screen started shaking! I immediately contacted the company via email but they haven't responded after 4 emails. I have been calling them non stop today and all I get is an automated message saying that no one is available. I now have a useless phone, no refund and no way of contacting this disgraceful and fake company.
