RECEIVED FAULTY PHONE – NO EXCHANGE OR REFUND
Received a phone. Looked good but could never connect to WIFI or 3/4G. Was told exchange or refund would happen, but never heard from Yabphones again after I emailed and tried to call time and time and time again. Now I have no phone and wasted $600. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS AT ALL COSTS. DISGUSTING ORGANISATION.
YABphones are terrible
YABphones are terrible. I received an IPhone 5c refurbished, looked fine, but could not hold the connection long enough to complete the set up. I sent the phone back within the agreed upon timeframe after jumping through countless hoops taking videos of the faults and sending these to YABphones. Also, because of the laws in the country where the phone was manufactured, the camera sound cannot be muted (important to know if you want to use your phone as a camera in quiet places). I received a non-sensical response saying "Request rejected" several weeks later, and after countless calls (on hold for hours) and emails that were left unanswered, I'm still out of pocket and very frustrated. The latest is they claim the phone works - despite my videos showing it doesn't work. Why would I send it back and go through all this hastle if it worked? Endless promises from various customer service people that they will endeavour to resolve this, but they never actually get back to me so am left on hold for hours, sending more emails and getting more frustrated. Stay well clear of YABphones! Bad product, and terrible customer service.

I bought an Iphone for a xmas present 2 weeks ago and I have not heard anything from the seller. I only got a payment confirmation that I had paid. I have been contacting the company and they not replying my emails,answering my calls or replying on their chat service.All i want now is my money back so that I can get the another one somewhere else as xmas is now approaching.

I ordered a phone from this company on Dec. 4th, gave me credit card details and received an email later that day advising me that my order was ready to be shipped. The following day I received that their order screening team needed "a bit" more information so that they could proceed with the order. I was requested to provide any of the following:
A scan or photo of my credit/debit card showing my name, the last 4 digits of my account no. and the expiry date;
A scan or photo of Photo ID showing my billing address (e.g. Driving License);
A scan or photo of a phone bill/utility bill or business card/letterhead showing the delivery address
Landline phone number
Paid email address
The email said that YAB phones are required by their payment card provider to "make best efforts to check the identity of the person placing the order". They stressed that it was my choice whether to provide the information or not & that if I did not wish to proceed they could cancel the order & refund me ASAP.
I took a photo of my driving license and attached it to my reply in which I asked them to despatch the phone as soon as possible as it was my daughter's Christmas present. I received an automated email reply advising that my email had been received and that their customer service would reply to my "query" as soon as possible.
I tried to contact the UK telephone no. listed on their site yesterday during working hours. I was connected to an automated answering machine stating their working hours and asked to leave a message and I would be contacted as soon as possible. I did so, received no call back but did receive an email from their automated serviceat 5.07am this morning (7th December 2017) to let me know my order had been cancelled.
I once again tried to contact Yab phones on their UK no. at 2.05pm today. I was advised I was no. 2 in the queue to speak to customer service. 6 minutes later I was no. 1, 14 minutes after that I ended the call as I was ringing from my mobile from Rep. of Ireland.
I am more than disappointed with the customer service this company has provided. Automated email replies are not acceptable when an order is placed. Not being able to contact customer service on the phone no. listed on their website is also unacceptable.
Remarkably I ordered a cover for this phone on ebay the day after I place the order with Yab Phones - I received that in the post today.
I will certainly not be recommending this company to anybody.
