I purchased 60 glasses on line from Ikea Alfafar Spain.
I had them delivered to the local post office (Correos) I received an email telling me items were ready for collection, went to collect armed with a barrow only to find only 2 glasses had been sent, no advice as to where or when to expect the remaining 58, the following day I had an easily miss able email telling me the remaining 58 were at Correos, When I collected them they were in one box (super heavy) the box was open and far too big for the order and 5 glasses were missing,
I have tried on numerous occasions to contact Ikea about this with no response at all they make it virtually impossible to complain unless you go to the store to fill in a form,
The price for the glasses was good the packaging was terrible and why send 2 then 58 next day no glasses were broke surprisingly with the terrible packing but there was only 55 out of 60 glasses
I will not be using Ikea online again because of their customer services.

IKEA has scammed me twice
IKEA has scammed me twice! Not a big expense but an aggravating one. Purchased a set of two self adhesive towel hooks. Followed instructions to the letter. They lasted all of 48 hours before falling off the wall. Second time today. Purchased two self adhesive towel hooks for our bathroom. They lasted less than 24 hours. SCAM! Purchase things in good faith that clearly do not work! But the expense to return them outweighs the cost of the items. That’s how you become a billionaire off the backs of hard working people. What a disaster
What a disaster! Worst judgement of my life to buy a kitchen from Ikea . This was contracted to be finished in October 2024 and now 8 months later I am still waiting for it to be finished. Appliance including sink , washing machine or Hob yet to be installed completely. The marble counter tops cannot be completed until IKEA do this work . Ikea has yet to contact me EVER to do the next stage and it has been me chasing them all of the time . The new kitchen was flooded the first day due to incapable fitters and I was told " go claim on your house insurance " I cannot stress how bad an experience this has been . Ikea you need to be totally ashamed !
Such poor service
Such poor service. We ordered a whole bedroom of furniture and paid 80 euros for delivery. We took a day off work to receive the delivery (3pm-9pm) and it did not arrive and no call or text to advise us they will not be coming. Then they delay the delivery a further week and offer no sort of compensation when considering that our guests will have an air bed and no other furniture in the room this weekend.

Terrible experience. I was waiting 2 weeks for the delivery (before ordering, the website stated that it will arrive in 2-4 days). Then then pillowcase came stained. When I called customer service, they told me that 7 days for complaints already passed and they can't do anything with that.
Out standing customer service
I simply have to say thank you to Rida in customer support I have never in all my years had such a pleasurable experience with a company before. Due to an over charge of £12 on my account for a purchase I had mislaid my receipt and Barclays charges were late due to an app malfunction. But this young lady Rida helped me secure the refund her patience and outstanding manner made the process a credit to customer service in IKEA .

Good service, but disappointing customer support this time.
The purchasing process was great—very attentive and kind—but this time, things didn’t go as expected. I placed a large order worth thousands of euros, and two products were missing. The delivery drivers even said, “I don’t think you want to check 100 packages…” and suggested contacting IKEA if anything was missing.
I did sign the delivery note, but realistically, I couldn’t inspect 100 packages without making the drivers wait. When I reported the issue, customer support made it feel like I was being blamed and that I should have reported it sooner—even though it’s only been two days since I received the kitchen.
Additionally, one of the countertops arrived with a small broken corner, though it's not very visible. Overall, the service was good, but this particular experience could have been handled better.
AVOID
Do not use! What an awful company. My issues have gone on for over 3 weeks. No response to many emails of complaint after error after error on their part, then they mock you on the phone - My last call consisted of me being mocked about going to Citizens Advice / The Retail Ombudsman. I will be taking further action, though the main action taken is never shopping here again.
Following on from my prior review I didn't think things could get worse. It did.
Nearly a month of poor service. The list could go on; damaged items, items that are the wrong colour, failed deliveries and shocking customer service that has consumed many hours /days of my life. Over 3 weeks of a living nightmare and I was offered £60 as a good will gesture?! Insulting.
The customer service people mock you, place blame on you and in honesty don't give a damn. People need to vote with their feet and avoid this company at all costs as it will cost you not only financially, but in time and with that you mentally. Very disappointed with IKEA kitchen department. Ordered a kitchen on 13/10/24, was told the out of stock items would be delivered in a couple of days. Almost 10 weeks later we’re still waiting, lots of phone calls which can take up to an hour at the least and emails we have been told that they now don’t know when they can deliver the rest of our kitchen!
Appalling customer service and this has cost us dearly as had a kitchen fitter who now is booked up and so we have half a kitchen fitted. We’ve raised it to a complaint but nothing can be done until the kitchen arrives which nobody can give us a time frame.
We feel we’ve been miss sold as if we’d of known how long this had taken we would have gone elsewhere.

Abysmal customer service
First of all I would not give Ikea one star only half a star. My experience with buying a flat pack furniture began on the 1st December 2024. I purchased my order and decided to get it delivered the same day. I did not receive a receipt for the paid delivery nor was I told if you pay full price for delivery after 3 pm it will not be delivered. Ludicrous. When I called up Ikea to ask about my delivery, customer service said they had no record of my purchases and I should come into the store to sort it out. I had to take a day off work for this. I spoke to the staff to ask them where my item was but they could not find it anywhere and assumed it was in the van ready to be delivered. I then moved my query to a line manager who claimed she had located my item and it was ready to be delivered tomorrow, ie the next day. I thought great! However the line manager did not sort out why I did not receive an email from Shift the delivery company or why my order was not in the system. The next; again no delivery or update about the delivery service. I called Ikea everyday until someone created an order number. They also issued a £30 voucher and assured me my item will be delivered on the 7th December, it was not received. I tracked my order and Shift and Ikea had cancelled my order. So the delivery cost me £39 which never happened. When I checked my account the refund was for the furniture only. The delivery service Shift wanted £39 of my money for a service that did not happen. The voucher was to compensate that but it negates the company policy. I have never ever experienced such unprofessionalism in my entire life. I asked for a complete refund and I’m still nervous whether l’ll have to fight for it like one of the staff said to me. Ikea cannot manage big deliveries even small deliveries. The staff are not trained and the customer service is abysmal. I will not ever buy large orders ever again that needs to be delivered from Ikea. Anyone thinking about using Shift delivery or buying furniture from Ikea …think carefully before you buy.
Waste of time online and on the phone
I've now been waiting 20 minutes in a phone queue that was only supposed to be ten minutes. All to try to pay 3.000 euros for a kitchen I have spent 8 hours trying to get through to the deliver and pay stage.
They obviously don't need the custom.

A few items didn't match when assembled, low quality like cracks and colour mismatch are normal things. Items missing on delivery. Supports are useless and have no power to help. Additional rates tried to be applied.
Avoid this company and its products.
Extremely Poor Customer Service and Lack of Integrity
I had an appalling experience with IKEA Spain, particularly the IKEA Granada store. After returning a bed, I was repeatedly assured that my €659 refund would be processed into my bank account. Four weeks later, I received a redemption card instead—something I was never informed about.
When I called to address the issue, one representative was dismissive and outright refused to escalate the matter, stating, “I don’t care; I am not scared if you report me.” This behavior is shocking and unacceptable for a company like IKEA.
Their lack of transparency, professionalism, and respect has been incredibly frustrating. I urge others to be cautious, as IKEA Spain clearly does not prioritize customer service or ethical practices.

Ikea fitted a kitchen for us , long wait , doors missing and then found out they have charged us for 2 dishwashers. They admitted their mistake . This was in May . After telephone calls and e-mails even a trip to IKEA Murcia. Nothing ! I need that money.
I paid for a three in one car…
I paid for a three in one car accessories since September to IKEA. They claimed to have delivered the product when I use the tracking number they shared with me. I have sent 3 different emails without any response from them. This is very sad and not far from fraud.
