Be careful - goods never arrived - ten month wait.
I ordered a lamp in June with a delivery date of August '21. It never arrived and I had no contact so I emailed and was told they were sorry that it was delayed and it would be another two months. I was given an exact date for delivery. Once again no lamp and no contact. Sadly I then read the reviews here and found this to be a common pattern. Fast forward to today when once again, for the fourth or fifth time I have contacted iloveretro about the delivery i have been told it now won't be here until the end of March. the pattern is clear - they apologise and promise a delivery in roughly two months time - this never happens but no communication is sent. Once you make contact with them they apologise again and give another date two months away. After ten months of believing this I now feel very stupid. I fully understand that delivery times are challenging in the present climate but this company has lacked honesty and transparency and I doubt would ever deliver my lamp. i am yet to receive a refund. I feel duped and sadly have to leave a review that says be really careful before ordering anything from them. ILR2164

Needed to return a stool that I had…
Needed to return a stool that I had ordered due to it being just to large. Sent a email to ask for return. Received a email back confirming return cost £14.99 and saying it could be collected the next week. I responded and said that would be good and that any day is ok for me. No response providing to my follow up emails with a date just a message to say they are working with a new carrier and that they would sort it out for the next week. 3 weeks have now passed and I have not received a response to provide a date for collection. We are now at they point they are ignoring my emails asking for them to arrange collection. My last request was Wed 19th Jan and it is now Monday 24th Jan with no response. I was wanting to order other items from this website but due to the very poor customer service and lack of response I will not bother. The box is sitting in my hall to be collected and I am out of pocket.

Faulty table and no phone number
My table arrived but was significantly different from picture. I appreciate wood grain naturally has different colors running through it but the top of the table is completely different from the sides (it’s grey with some bright yellow in it not oak-ish) and it looks awful. There is no phone number to call and try and resolve the issue, and when I tried text chat an automated reply says they’re off for Xmas (it’s now 19th January!)
Update: I’ve been emailed by the company asking for photos of the table so I’ll see how this is dealt with moving forward. The company said on the email that they give out their number when requested but they didn’t tell me what their number was. I’ve emailed back asking for it.

Refund never given / item not collected
Ordered from I love retro, item arrived and when set up had a fault so we chose to return.
Return has be arranged 4 different times. No courier has come to collect on any of these occasions - Myself and my partner work from home so we are available from anytime to hear the door/answer to the courier.
Collection dates organised - NO SHOW

Told to wait till new year for collection -
“we are at the win of the couriers to uphold this and collect when agreed/arranged. Collections and refunds will still be honoured but these will now take place in the first week back in January due to courier and staff availability. If this is going to be an issue we can refund before collection, please let me know which works for you.”
I asked for a refund prior to collection as mentioned above. No word on this. No refund either.
Then 11/1 re organised - no show
I have asked various times the company they use for courier collections / a contact number to speak to I love retro - but they do not provide this information.
If you want to be sure you will be getting an item collected as agreed and refunded I wouldn’t provide this organisation. I am still unsure if I will ever be getting a refund.

Gorgeous lamp!
Ordered a lamp in Nov, said it would be here by Christmas. Emailed me saying there was a delay. Eventually received it today and had to give 5 stars for the quality alone, well worth the wait!

I purchased a gold "hound" lamp which took a while to arrive, but when it did I loved the look, it was great. Unfortunately, part of the lightbulb casing was cracked open and there appeared to be a crack in the "stem"
However...when I wrote to ILoveRetro, the service I received (from Alice) was exceptional! She reassured me that the lamp was safe to use and offered a 30% discount. Therefore, I believe the damage to the product was one off (could have even been delivery related!) and would recommend this company again

Unable to organise a return- no one responds to my emails
I bought a bar table from this website , unfortunately the colour was not as I expected .I contacted the company via email at the start of December requesting the cost and process for returning the item. I have sent several emails and I am still waiting for them to confirm how I can organise the return. If you think you may need to return an item I would not order from this company. There does not appear to be a valid contact number for the company so I have not been able to speak to anyone, I am very frustrated and dissappointed with the whole experience.
Despite the response they have posted the company have still not contacted me about organising my return - :(

I placed my order on 06.12.2021 and was given an expected delivery date of the 15th. After this date elapsed I contacted I Love Retro for an update and was told by Alice that it was in the warehouse waiting to be delivered. I wanted this order before Christmas but unfortunately I’m still waiting. Therefore I was fuming when I received an email asking for a review on how many stars I would give them for their service. I emailed Alice again but have still received no response. One very unhappy customer here!!
