Their self test kits are terrible. If you have calloused fingers it's practically impossible to use, and you apparently need about 20x more blood than they claim you need.

I mailed my sample out on June 10th, and did not hear anything until I finally emailed on the 22nd. I was promptly emailed back, and was told I would definitely have my results very soon. Unfortunatel... See more

Not enough detail about:

Not enough detail about:
- description of the results
- testing methodology that was used

I would be embarrassed to present these results to a rheumatologist and I'm sure he will require testing at a professional lab.

So easy

The test was very easy to perform. The whole process was smooth and simple; from shopping to checkout to receiving the results.

Using the kit was easy and fast

Using the kit was easy and the results were provided in a timely manner. I was a bit shocked by my results, as a previously diagnosed Celiac, I was surprised that I did not have above normal antibody levels. I don’t think it’s very clear exactly what to expect, what levels are normal. I am a person that prefers to see actual values, numbers and ranges would be more valuable to me than just a green “Normal.” I guess that was a bit disappointing to me. The report wasn’t as informative or specific as I expected. But, maybe my expectations were unreal. The customer service is available and everything went as they said it would. No real complaints I guess.

Horrible

Horrible. My results came back "inconclusive" biggest waste of 100 dollars.

Alexa, we're sorry you didn't have the best experience taking our test and understanding your results.

The "inconclusive" result summary on page 2 occurs only when customers indicate they have not eaten gluten over the past 8 weeks, and all of the biomarkers tested come back negative.

This is explained further on page 3 of your report which provides a detailed breakdown of your individual biomarker tests and results.

Our team has reached out to you directly to make sure we help you with your results, and will issue a new test if required to ensure you get real answers to your potential celiac disease condition.

Thank you!!

The process was quick, discreet and very informative. I’m very happy we finally reached the point where this testing is widely available. This will surely help a great number of people who are misdiagnosed, or simply need to check in on their adherence to their GF diet.

Thank you!

Easy process!

Easy process. Video tutorial was helpful. I was grateful for the second lancet since I didn't get good flow out of the first finger stick.

Lancets were very difficult to use

Lancets were very difficult to use, both broke, making blood draw long and painful.

Laura, we're sorry to hear that it was painful for you to draw your sample. We've selected the best lancets for comfort, but will continue to test other options that could improve upon this.

We'll also make our printed and online instructions more clear so future customers know how to easily request additional lancets using our online Help Center.

Thanks for your feedback!

Excellent product!

We received the vials with very complete instructions. We sent the blood sample in and had the results in a matter of days. Can not be easier! Very much worth the price.

Transparency in celiac disease testing is here!

I highly recommend this product for several reasons. (1) I believe transparency in healthcare is essential. I have heard one too many stories about individuals being denied these sorts of tests from their doctors or insurance companies. For a low fee, you can take out the middleman and discover if you do or don't have celiac disease. (2) The test was incredibly easy to take. I highly recommend watching the video on the imaware website to learn how to take the test so you do it right and confidently. No long needles, just a simple finger poke, (3) I was impressed with the speed in which I received my results. It took just a few days to find out what I needed to know. Overall, if you suspect you have celiac disease, or at least want to rule it out, this test will help you do just that. (Disclosure: I was provided with a free test, however, all opinions are my own.)

Simple and easy to use testing kit

Simple and easy to use testing kit. This at home test will help individuals to move toward a definitive celiac diagnosis, or to help monitor those with celiac disease who think they are following a gluten free diet but want confirmation.
