Good deal

Interface is super easy to use, price is great. I'm now 'anonymizing' the many, many sites that I've signed up to try to clean up my primary email address - a long and arduous process. Plus, whenever my wife and I want to both be notified by an entity, we just add two forwarding addresses. Presto, done. I quickly used up the free version addresses and have now added another domain AND gone to a paid version. I plan to make heavy use of this service.

easy to setup including a free option

I needed to change my e-mail forwarding and after a lot of searching, I found Improvmx, it was very easy to set up with simple guided information and has a free tier option for a single domain that works for me. Importantly, it includes logs to check your e-mail status that some other services don't. It is early days but so far its working well and no problems

I've switched away from 2 other providers to use ImprovMX. The others failed in support, features and ease of use. I'm happy to recommend ImprovMX for your consideration as well.

Godaddy suddenly stopped their…

Godaddy suddenly stopped their workspace email forwarding service so I contacted them and they said I had to pay $25.00 a year now, for each email forwarding account, with their new Office365 product. I switched to ImprovMX and couldn't be happier. I especially like the log feature, whereas I can see which emails arrive and if the forward was successful.

Fast and easy to use UI

Fast and easy to use UI, setup took me like 3 minutes per domain and everything is working smoothly so far. ImprovMX is indeed delivering what is expected.

Receive/send sometimes have failed & marked as spam

Was using free tier, some people said they couldn't send me emails. Probably they're getting bouncebacks? The emails I sent to them occasionally got marked as spam or just didn't get sent. Missed a few business related emails because of this and caused a lot of confusion. After upgrading to paid tier this problem hasn't occurred again yet, but it'd be great to be informed about potential problem I can face in the free tier, and I'm pretty sure I will make a switch if this happens again with the paid tier. For the record I've done everything the site told me to do, like SMTP and fiddling with the DNS settings.

Hi there,

We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback about your experience. We understand the frustration of encountering deliverability issues.

Regarding receiving and forwarding emails, if you encounter any problems, please reach out to our support team directly. We're happy to offer support to all our users, even those on the free plan.

Regarding sending emails, you're correct that the free plan uses Gmail's SMTP servers, which don't include SPF or DKIM support. This can impact email deliverability, as some recipients' email systems might flag emails without these as potential spam. We do our best to explain this limitation on our website and in our newsletter.

Our paid plans use ImprovMX SMTP, which includes full support for SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, leading to significantly better deliverability. With ImprovMX SMTP, we also leverage a vast pool of IP addresses alongside a unique retry mechanism to ensure your legitimate emails always get through.

We're glad to hear the paid plan has resolved your sending issues. If you face any similar problems in the future, please let us know.

Thank you for your understanding and continued use of ImprovMX!

Great

Great for any startup/small business. Very complete free plan, and the UI is very intuitive. The ability to add multiple addresses is useful, and it didn't take to long to verify the DNS records. Overall the best choice I could find for a free service with capabilities like this

I wish I could have discovered this service years ago when I was struggling with setting up email hosting for all my domains just to be able to receive few emails to admin/info addresses for admin purposes and enable my wordpress sites to send emails. Full support of DKIM, SPF, DMARC, MX... plus SMTP support to be able to send emails directly from my clients (such Outlook, WordPress, Gmail, etc) - wow, absolutely smashing guys, you totally rock! thank you so much for your dedication and incredible product
