Very knowledgeable and friendly staff who really know their stuff. Superb showroom in Petersfield with a wide range of products on display which customers can try out to see which best meets their needs. Really impressed and realistic prices for quality items too, will definitely be placing further orders.

I bought a bath lift from these and within 2 weeks notified that belt failed to stop when reached top of bath. I sent video evidence I was advised to return for testing but they could not replicate the fault so said that would return the faulty one or if I wanted a replacement I had to pay £50 to cover the cost of the belt and sleeve that I had used. I did not want the faulty one back so paid £50 for replacement. Which works correctly. This was only few weeks old and cost almost £1000 was bought on the premise guaranteed for 1 year. I feel if I had bought anywhere else I would not have been charged to replace the unit

Fantastic to deal with! Couldn't have been more helpful. I'd been having some issues ordering online so had to ring them - as I'd lost my voice, that was a challenge for them. I received my body dryer, when promised. It's been installed & works perfectly. (Electricians took packaging (including the VAT form for me to revlaim VAT - a copy is being sent out to me though). Very happy customer.

Independent for Life is an excellent company who really understand the needs of the disabled and infirm. They have a wide range of products that are of good quality and also work better. I purchased a shower grip rail from them and was astonished at the wide range of choice. I highly recommend them for quality and service.

We only wanted a replacement battery for my relaxa bath strap, which I rely on due to my disability. They sent us out two different batteries which unfortunately didn't work. Following that, they asked if we could send the relaxa bath to them and they were able to fully repair it. After doing all of this and sorting the issue for us, they refused to take payment and advied it was free of charge. One of the best companies I have had the pleasure of dealing with and I would fully recommend them to anyone. The communication from all the staff was excellent and they genuinely couldn't do enough for us. Many thanks, Christine Murphy.

brilliant products and service

I've resurrected a three year old Bath Lift Belt, which needed a number of missing parts and despite the company's excellent and detailed accessory website, I still managed to order a new shell for the machine, thinking that it was a shower protection cover. Independent4life called me first thing the next day to talk through my order and quickly realised that I had ordered the wrong thing and they amended the order saving me £80, which they credited back to my card within the hour. I believe that this very positive and honourable approach will give other senior users, who may be nervous about dealing with a hither-to unknown firm, the confidence to trust in Independt4Life.
