I watch the reels etc on the IG for INFLUENSTER, of all the absolutelt amazing products the US market receives, as I check my Canada app for over a year and... Crickets.... I asked a question over a YEAR ago then in the comments of an IG post, only to be ignored again! The Canadian Influenster IG page is a joke too, just tells you to refer to their USA page?!!??? Dont waste your time

This is a dysfunctional app that often crashes. Despite all the updates, it's always been problematic. They also have not been fully honest with their users regarding many aspects of being a user on the app. One example is that the requirements vary based on which customer service representative you're having a conversation with. The requirements are not even aligned with each of their staff members as one will tell you a different thing than someone else. Their customer service is downright zero.

Requested they delete my profile, and contact details through their official ‘delete your account’ option. It’s been over three weeks and still getting harassing/scammy emails from them. Do not sign up! You apparently can’t get away from them.

Influenster seem scammy to me. The tasks they gave me after signing up to increase my “points” were to review off a list of items. The problem is, I never used the items nor did they offer to send me the items to review. How can it be legit if everyone leaves reviews for items influenster tasks them to review without using? The data they scrape off your device is ridiculous as well.

Seems like a scam to me, first of all they collect a hell of a lot of data, then I've never got enough points to move up, havnt recieved anything to review, and I'm scared longer I leave the app on my phone the more data they gather, it's just a cleaver way of scamming people hoping to get free products which is honestly disgusting

I wanted to share some feedback about my experience with customer service. I’ve been rather disappointed with the response times—it's been around 3-4 weeks, and it could even take longer. I recently had an issue with one of the programs and reached out for advice. Thankfully, I managed to figure it out on my own, but I received a response after the program had ended, which wasn't very helpful.

Now, I’m facing another issue where I received a completely different item than what was promised. I reported this to Influenster as instructed, but it’s been over two weeks with no response! I’m unsure what to do next. I can’t leave it unresolved since it could affect my account, and it doesn’t feel right to review the wrong product since the photos and review wouldn't match. Plus, even if I raise another issue, I worry it won’t get answered promptly.
I've participated in other reviewing programs, and their customer service responses have been almost instant. Influenster, you really need to step up your game!

Paid biased website. Mostly only positive reviews are published there. I have submitted 5 reviews with both positive and negative ones on different products based on my honest opinions, but only 2 out of 5 are published. You can simply visit the website and check some products, especially electrical appliants like coffee machine and smaller devices, where the product labels are still on the units, then you will know what I am saying. Do NOT trust the reviews on this website.

I've tried leaving honest reviews on Influenster twice now, and both times my review did not post. Unfortunately this means the reviews on that site are completely biased and likely paid for. Don't trust them.

I was not expecting to have free products but it really happened and the experience was pretty smooth from starting my tasks and finish all campaign. Liked it!

Influenster started spamming me out of the blue! Products look pretty bogus too.

I love this app! I actually get campaigns all the time and have gotten at least 2/month since I started in March. It took like 5 weeks before I was given my first campaign but it hasn’t stopped. I have everything from yogurt to high end blenders! It is random though and not everyone has the same experience but it’s worth the try for sure! @kristina@135

The app is horrible. Once you write a review you can't submit it. Its just so frustrating. I miss influenster how it used to be years ago.

the reviews are bogus, there are reviews of many products that many people say they have tried recently, i was looking at 4 products and Considering the products were discontinued in 2014, i find it hard to believe someone tried it recently, which many people claimed they had. I submitted a review and questioned the validity of the other reviews and it was not posted.

I used to get stuff consistently now I get nothing. Unless you are on it the second a product drops you miss out anyway. I’ve Never had a voxbox, even though I respond to every email saying I’m being considered. I have also been selected for items and on several occasions had an email a few days later say I have been removed from the campaign or after initially getting the item you then click back in and it’s vanished. So annoying.

It’s also impossible to get to level 9 as once you complete the initial raft of questions you can’t earn anymore points. I’ve even contacted customer services and all I got was we are working on this. Well here we are months later and there are zero changes. The same applies for linking up social media. It consistently fails regardless of how many times I try it. Again I contacted customer services, got a generic non-helpful reply to say they are aware and that’s that.

Overall it could be good if they made it fairer and were more consistent but I always get the distinct impression the customer service team just don’t really care and because there are so many people on the app they can get away with fixing none of the issues.

If you’ve got loads of free time to waste and want to occasion get some free stuff this is the app for you but if you can spend the time you will inevitably waste on this app doing other more worthwhile things then I honestly wouldn’t bother as like so many others have said there seems to be no thought nor process to how it works.

It doesn't work at all even if you complete everything, it's just a massive data grab, and deleting your account is literally impossible. I've been trying for over a month, and instead of deleting it, their employees just deactivate it and lie about having deleted it.

Did everything they asked, answered all questions and even submitted 13 reviews of things I already had at home and I was never even given the chance to bag a freebie
Utter waste of time, been on it for months and yet the same people seem to get things all the time, very unfair and biased

I love this app I’ve already gotten so much stuff it really does come through and does well there products are great

I’ve been on this app for years, but didn’t know how to use it and forgot, so about 3 months ago I got back on , since then I’ve got skin serum and a microwave, but like other reviews stated they only give high end makeup to certain people, and I would literally click something seconds after it drop and still get a picture of a turtle telling me I was “too slow” but it’s not a scam site it’s a mixture of luck and patience and checking the app everyday

I absolutely love this app. I only signed up in November 2023 and after reviewing 10 items I had around the house and had previously used I managed to bag my 1st product of vanish oxy action. After I had received it, tested it and reviewed it - I was lucky enough to get to test some open ear headphones which I wouldn’t have thought about previously. Iv then had the opportunity to test sure deodorant, magnusson spirit level, sensodyne whitening toothpaste, 2 lots of original source shower gels, white claw cherry seltzer, comfort scent boaster and I’m currently testing Waitrose fruit splits and waiting on a body peeling gel which I’m looking forward to testing. Absolutely loving the frequency of programmes available and secretly hoping for some big items to come available to test as Iv seen others get TV’s, children’s toys, washing machines and coffee machines. I am grateful for all the opportunities given. I believe you will get more out of it, the more time and energy you put into it. This is definitely not a scam website and I am a genuine happy user of the site.

It's a great app when it does what it's meant to. You get introduced to some amazing brands and all you have to do is write your honest detailed review.

However they really need to fix their notifications that come through hours after the product has already been claimed by everyone (people share their claims on facebook). Also god forbid you don't have a product delivered you will be penalised for this and customer services is practically non existent. They will not get back to you and it looks as though you just haven't reviewed your products, even though you haven't actually received them, so you won't get selected for more campaigns. A lot of problems that need to be resolved.

The other thing I have noticed is a lot of 20 something year olds seem to get all the cosmetics again and again. I don't know if that's because of the brands target market or Influenster just select those people, but I now consciously don't buy products from those brands now.
