I love Influenster! Not sure why so many people are so upset. It’s definitely NOT a scam. I think it took me a while to get my first item, but now I get them consistently. I’ve received a lot of Vox Boxes. I’ve been able to try new items and ones I had not previously heard of. I’ve received some large and relatively expensive items too. I believe things like your demographics, photo quality and not missing reviews counts in your favor. I don’t know how people are being selected, but they truly do send items in exchange for reviews.

1. "After over three years of dedicated membership, countless detailed reviews, and a Tier 9 status, I've yet to receive any perks or recognition. It seems the rewards system is a facade, favoring a select few who may already possess an abundance of the products being offered."

2. "Despite my consistent activity and extensive contributions, I've been consistently overlooked for any special offers or incentives. It's disheartening to see the same individuals benefiting repeatedly, while others are left in the dark."

3. "Customer service's response to my inquiries was dismissive and unhelpful, merely suggesting I be more active, despite my extensive history of engagement. It's clear they prioritize certain members over others, regardless of their level of participation."

4. "It's frustrating to witness the apparent favoritism towards members who already possess multiple versions of the same product, while long-standing contributors like myself are left empty-handed. The system is flawed and fails to reward true dedication and effort."

5. "After investing significant time and effort into this tester panel, only to be met with indifference and lack of recognition, I've decided to discontinue my involvement. It's evident that the rewards system is skewed, leaving many loyal members feeling undervalued and overlooked."

Influenster used to be great a couple of years ago. But now, it is no longer user friendly, requires the mobile app for more features, and customers get lost packages. Influenster has become another ruined platform with scammers talking about how great it is. It is nothing more than a scammy platform meant to take people's money and not help them when problems arise. You should avoid wasting your money and time on Influenster since its owner(s) care(s) about profit more than customer happiness.

I've had a great experience with influenster since signing up 3 months ago!
I received free radiator valves in November, which were shipped this month and I received a few weeks ago, and today i was invited to choose TWO Hoover/Haier Appliances so I chose a heatpump tumble dryer and a cordless Vacuum, both due to ship next month! In exchange you have to write product reviews and add images of you using the product(s), the more detailed the better! You have to be quick to claim so make sure you have notifications on (the products go in a matter of minutes) but definitely worth having the app. You don't need to put card details in or anything. I am level 8, signed up autumn 2023. Make sure to fill out your profile fully and answer the lifestyle questions. The app is very user friendly and you can add optional reviews of products you already use everyday to boost your visibility

The worst customer service I have ever seen. They never bother to reply to any emails. But want a good review from you.

I feel Influenster is a waste of time.
They do not have a simple rule and details how to receive products.
Been on tier 9 for ages as they kept showing to level up from tier 1 but, put many reviews, pools, questions, daily task but never received a survey, or cashback or sample or product to test out. If they pressuring you to go up to tier 9, then they should provide a least some opportunities.
Others gets free products to test out on lower tier, but when I did all the work to go up to go up to tier 9, the company provided nothing.
Like a scam. They want people to have their app downloaded but then they give nothing in return.
I even emailed customer service which was another waste of time. :(

Good app had some great things from them but unfortunately gone down hill app crashes all the time when they have a freebie to claim which is a shame because it means missing out all the time

I got a mail that I would receive a sample, for which I was really excited about. After 3 weeks I’d sent a message to the support team asking if my box was shipped or not and no answer. I sent 4 extra messages and still no response. I’m really disappointed.

Influenster and more of those apps are from Bazaarvoice but people get angry if they don't get anything or that there reviews are used on other sites. READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE YOU START. Nobody gets free items especially not for those products. Don't be so angry at them but at yourself.
If you really want to become a review writer then read about it. Influenster is a good app and because there more companies involved now it is a little bit of a mess with reviewing but i just review my own products. And i already gotten a lot of free products last year. This year it has been very quiet but i can wait. So if your really interested in review writing and not doing only for the gifts then it's a good app. But please read and join a facebook page with other Influensters so ask there if you have a problem.

Sort it out influenster your app is beyond a joke now forever crashing displaying errors freezing and also not allowing users to sign and on top of that its deleting customer reviews, polls that people have done its not just happening to me either as alot of people have said its happening on the community,poor customer service too as you don't seem to have a clue what is going on with the app

Shortly after signing up with this platform and filling in countless information about myself, I began to recieve a ridiculous amount of spam emails. I recieved not 1 campaign email to participate in but ads from places I have never subscribed to. This company is only there to harvest information from you about yourself and even your partner. They then sell this on to other companies and you end up on lists you never subscribed and get constant trash emails.
I was so gullible thinking this was a legit reviewing platform in exchange for free product, please be WARNED!!!!

I LOVE Influenster! I’ve been on there for years and always get the coolest stuff to try! I’ve had all sorts of designer brands of make up, skin care, hair care, and even dog food! I’ll always recommend them!

I had been a member since the very beginning! In the beginning, it was “user friendly” and people were genuine. They wrote honest reviews, used their own authentic pictures and followed the rules ( set forth by the company). It was a safe space and I loved it! However, since they merged with TRYIT, it’s no longer “user friendly”. All anyone does is complain about not receiving boxes, only ask for followers and likes ( which is against the rules), it’s all spam, and drug solicitation, etc. Users bully each other and use the Polls section, and question sections for unrelated topics. They post political and controversial topics that cause fights and people, quickly, report others for standing up to these “bullies”. You try to tell people what they post is against the rules and they verbally attack you AND report you! The reviews are copied straight from companies websites or Amazon and users steal photos! Months ago I reported a user who stole one of my photos and they are still using it! The customer was NEVER reprimanded!! Customer service seems to always side with the people “breaking the rules” instead of one’s who stand up to the “rule breakers”. Feel like elementary school BS! They don’t care! It’s not the same and no one regulates user activity until people complain. They don’t process “cash back” offers. They have MANY complaints with the BBB! It’s trash now! I had my account deleted because I was WRONGFULLY ACCUSED of “breaking the rules” the representative even implied I was a hypocrite! Done with them! Wasn’t receiving anything anyway, hadn’t for MONTHS!

If I could give it no stars I would. The only reason Influenster is in business is to harvest your personal information and sell it. Unless you like having your email account flooded with spam and con artists targeting you, I suggest you steer clear of this place. Oh, and don't listen to the phony reviews praising Influenster for all the free stuff they give. They don't give out anything. On rare occasions they may toss a bone to someone, but that is only to keep the scam going because they are making tons of money selling your private information. Beware of this place. It is very dangerous.

Beware!! Not just a Scam but Allows Members to Sale Illegal drugs on homepage! Second day in there’s a man named Peter suggesting you call him if need Narcotics and have “ no prescription or been cutoff” what the Heck!!
What upstanding Site would be a relationship with a drug dealer..?

Influenster only rewards those who have no mind of their own, and will make any desperate attempt (including lying), to get freebies. These people usually have feedback that consists more of themselves, and not about what they are reviewing. They also stand out, because they’re always whining about not getting a survey, box, new tier, etc., as well as continually clogging the feed, begging others to ‘follow’ them, or ‘like’ their photos and reviews. INFLUENSTER ISN’T A SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM! It’s meant to help consumers and brands. It should be geared more towards mature adults, who appreciate what they get, and give thoughtful, honest reviews. They are the ones who will truly contribute to the community. Influenster needs start selecting those higher quality people, along with offering more grown up items, instead of makeup, skin, and hair stuff. And, stop with their game-like application, where it doesn’t matter which tasks you do, you’ll still never be chosen for a free sample, or accomplish anything.

I like it for reading reviews, however after I started using the app (to try to get free stuff), I became more sceptical. This is because they ask you to review things whenever you fill in questions (the goal of which is to qualify for free stuff), and I found myself putting in whatever just to get it done.

I filled in a lot of questions already, but they seem to think I'm a parent (I'm not), because they keep saying I "might" qualify for child-related products. I've never indicated in my answers that I'm in any way interested in parent or child products.

I've never qualified to receive anything I've been interested in – so when I hit "unsubscribe" in my laptop browser, it made me log in, and then told me I couldn't unsubscribe outside of the mobile app. That's just bad UX, which was the last straw for me.

It's not real. It will not allow you to log in. There website is scam. You can't scroll on your phone on the webside. Log on via Google or mail will say "pop up closed by user" doesn't make sense. Don't give them credit card info! This looks like scam

I keep getting access denied,would like to delete my information but can't 😡

Scam in cashback campaigns. No response at all. I bought the products of cashback campaigns, tasted them, wrote reviews but never got any response. Big scammers!

After 2 weeks, they replied to my email and gave me cashback of £7.20 though I spent £9 on cashback products. It means they pay but late and less. They paid in USD, not GBP. Still I'll say, their support should be prompt, not 2 weeks later.
