Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the customer service, describing it as incompetent and unhelpful. People frequently encountered issues with the service provided, including problems with repairs, lost items, and a lack of communication. Reviewers also felt that the pricing for repairs was often unreasonable, sometimes exceeding the cost of a new product. Some people were dissatisfied with the product quality, citing instances where devices were returned in worse condition or with new damage. Conversely, a small portion of people felt satisfied with their experience, particularly when their devices passed checks without issue or when they received a brand-new replacement product instead of a repair.

Ingram don't deserve be in business

This company doesn't deserve to still be in business. They clearly don't care about customers - emails are ignored and the most you can hope for is an automated response, ignoring anything you ask. The 'Customer Services' telephone number has a message telling you to go look-up any questions on our website and then automatically hangs-up.
This is a recipe for a bad reputation / losing customers.

Cowboy outfit Avoid.
Don’t buy Apple products from Amazon.
Returned a faulty MacBook purchased from Amazon after firstly taking it to the Apple store and being advised it was faulty but needed to be returned to Amazon as a reseller. Unfortunately it ended up with these clowns who are trying to charge me for repairing a item that arrived faulty.
They dont answer the phone and only reply to emails saying phone to discuss? Joke!

Not even close to adequate

I purchased AirPods from Amazon which began to lose sound on one side after 8 months. Still in warranty, Amazon sent me a label to send them for repair - obviously to Ingram. More than two weeks on, I had heard nothing so contacted Amazon customer services who gave them a prod and the result was an email directly to me asking for money to repair them - an amount 40% higher than the original cost of the AirPods. Erm, no thanks! I contacted Amazon who advised that Ingram SHOULD NOT be contacting amazon customers directly - and then I read the reviews on here. Amazon have refunded my money and my impression of this company is to avoid at all costs which I’m hoping Amazon will do too. Very dodgy.

Damaged Claimed By Ingram

After developing a fault on my Huawei P Smart, Amazon asked that it be returned for repair. My phone ended up with Ingram and after Two weeks of hearing nothing, the Amazon repair team chased up with Ingram. After a few days I received and Email from Ingram, claiming my repair could not be carried out under warranty and a quotation for the work had been raised but they needed to speak with me before they could continue. I phoned and was asked, "do you want to proceed with the quote", I advised I had not received a quote and was told; "The screen is chipped in Two places and the cost to repair will be £106". The phone had no damage as it had been kept in a gel case with a rhino glass protector.

Talk about bipolar...🤦

I inquired about my account and they said they would no longer be sending me communications or proceeding with my account. I gave them everything they asked for to the T and NEVER ONCE was I ever rude to them. If they don't respect me as a customer then they won't respect the next customer which might be you.

Had a terrible service experience with…

Had a terrible service experience with Ingram micro. They were the service repair agent for Amazon and were instructed by Amazon to repair my iPad today 19/7/21. After receiving an email this morning advising me they were returning my iPad un fixed when I asked why( an hours wait on the phone) they said Amazon hadn't paid their bill. Can you believe it. They were also very unflexible and insisted returning it to an obsolete address. I've complained to Amazon today who are launching an investigation into my case however have replaced my iPad in recognition at the entire day wasted due to the non existent service offered to me by this company

Worked at Ingram Micro for a few days…

Worked at Ingram Micro for a few days and their "training" was making people sit and watch workers who pretended like you didn't exist, manager was immature, unprofessional and didn't care at all about properly training me, they made me "observe" someone who wasn't even doing what they wanted me to be trained on then contacted me on my third day to tell me they don't want me to return to site with no reasoning? I wouldn't buy products or even try working there after seeing what they're like, Ingram Micro x ITAD

Minus 5 stars. Avoid these criminals

We purchased a Samsung A51 from SKY for our son in November 2020. Fast forward to March 2021 and his phone started giving off a burning smell and felt hot to the touch. The phone was immediately switched off then restarted a while later by myself. When the device restarted I could not establish an internet connection via wifi or mobile data. We reported this to SKY and they arranged for us to send the device off to be repaired.
This so called repair company have basically accused us of 'microwaving' the device and therefore voiding it's warranty.
My son was literally playing a game on his phone not trying to cook it.
They have sent the device back and we're in the process of having Samsung diagnose and investigate why this happened to the phone.
When the report comes back with the real reason why the phone started burning we will pursue the matter further. No way are we letting this lie. Absolute crooks, avoid like the plague.

Appalling customer service

This company does not understand what customer service is and does not care.
I think the problem is, they are too big. They don't care about customers because there's always someone else waiting to take your place.
Because of their size, they can afford to give very good pricing. But you know what, price is not everything.
As a business, I will not be using them again. I would rather spend slightly more and get decent service.
Oh, and I am still awaiting an £800+ refund from them....

Awful repair service

I have sent off my laptop for repair. They promised me an estimated 5 days for the repair to take. It is now coming up to 4 weeks and I don’t have my device back. All the information regarding to the status of my repair has been retrieved on my side via phone calls.

Would not recommend using their repair services in the slightest

I have been running a business here in…

I have been running a business here in Syd for over 20yrs and I have never ever encountered any company that is run and operated by a bunch of incompetent staff. Every single order I have made with INGRAM M has had an issue, either missing on delivery, missing on a few items, account dept chasing me for $$ when all along I have paid yet, no one knows where and why my payment had gone missing or went into a different accounting platform (EXCUSES!!),

I have no Account Mngr, then one day I have, then 6 months I no longer have, then the sales person whom you made orders 2 months ago is no longer with the company... etc

Now, I am chasing for my credit to be returned to me, and once again, I am chasing my own tail. the very same person who is looking after the issues concerning my account, who also informed me that he will take care of my issues, is now asking "What" credit?? - GO FIGURE!!

Most ignorant company I have ever had…

Most ignorant company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. 3 emails about an item they have of mine and not one reply. Nothing at all. Disgraceful customer service. Best thing they could do would be to shut their doors for good.
Do not deal with this company if you can avoid it.

Epic worst place I ever worked.

Epic worst place I ever worked.
Brainlessly manager’s without basic organisations knowledge . Typically British..,
No one know for what exactly have responsibilities.,

All departments excluding financial have minimal wages ., engineers, flash, warehouse op. and internal stores.

This is why people don’t care about their responsibilities., minimal wage minimal effort.
They opened new line without preparing new people to work, after they grab random people from the street and said : go and fix phones.

This company is managing by morons without brain.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM

I don't even know where to start.
There is a lack of general organisation, the manager in returns Missguided is always late, clueless about everything (you will surely know more than him on your first day), unbothered and unprofessional.
Sexism, colorism and favouritism perfume the atmosphere on a daily basis and his lack of interest about the actual job, not to mention on people skills, turn the place into an anarchic mess. The company's refusal of bettering things mixed with the classical "God complex" will lead into two ways of living:
accepting bullying, delays and daily disrespect and keeping the job or asking to be treated as a human, becoming a walking target and ending up being fired without any reason.
May the best win!

Avoid if at all possible

I've been waiting 3 weeks to receive my order from Ingram Micro, and now they tell me they cannot fulfil it. What's more frustrating is that instead of looking for solutions they make a lot of excuses and pass blame. From my experience, it seems they just don't care about customers and I'd avoid them if you can.
