Inntravel found a gem of a family-run hotel in Fuschl am See, with excellent rooms and food, an indoor swimming pool overlooking the lake and a sauna. The staff could not have been more helpful. We managed all the recommended walks and sightseeing - the very bright but unusually cold weather added to the beauty of the surroundings but make the walking more challenging. Our Yaktraks were essential for safety most days.

Have now experienced 3 winter walking holidays with Inntravel. I have found their customer service to be very professional and helpful.The information they supplied have been comprehensive, accurate and very useful. The hotels they have chosen have been exceptional in quality of rooms, meals and service.

We went on the Madeira levada walking holiday. Everything was straightforward, easy booking process & excellent service. Hotels,food, transport & attention to detail on the walks were superb. We shall certainly book again.

A most enjoyable holiday. Great itinerary, lovely characterful hotels in great locations, excellent walking routes and instructions. Unfortunately the train part of the holiday was impacted by the train crash in Spain. Without any prompting from us, the Operations Team sent us coach tickets to replace all the train journeys just in case. We did need to use them and they worked a treat even if not as much fun as train rides.

Very good hotel we've visited previously with Inntravel. Hotel provided a super programme over-the-Christmas period.
Inntravel travel arrangements all worked very well.

Another great holiday with INNTRAVEL - the hotel was excellent, the car hire operator very efficient and the walking directions always accurate and helpful. Despite rather disappointing weather we enjoyed our week which offered very varied experiences.

I get postal and email mailouts from InnTravel which I no longer require. It should be simple to unsubscribe via a link on the website but it isn't. The email contact just leads to questions about holidays. I then phoned. None of the options, including 'any other query' provided me with a means to do this. In the end I pressed a random number and spoke to a polite lady who said she couldn't do it but would pass on my details. Why such a faff? Surely it is in the interests of the company not to send expensive brochures by expensive post to people who don't want them? It doesn't make me any likelier to use them in future - in fact the opposite
EDIT after response. It appears I have never been on the emailouts but my query concerned the postal mailouts and the difficulty of just finding a simple way to email you to stop getting them. It is such a waste of paper. Thanks for unsubscribing me

Absolutely our favorite vacation of all time! Our hotel-to-hotel bike trip was perfectly planned and very affordable. We were able to relax and enjoy each day knowing InnTravel was taking care of us. They even contacted us and made alternative arrangements during a transportation strike. Have highly recommended them to MANY and plan to use them again this year. Thank you InnTravel!!!

We loved what they had to offer, but they just moved painfully slow with the response on the initial booking and confirmation process. We canceled our reservation and made other plans. We would still consider them for future travels, if our timing permitted.

Our walking holiday on Gozo more than met our expectations with smooth travel arrangements and a good hotel with excellent breakfasts and two included dinners of a very high standard.

The walking notes were detailed and accurate, helping us navigate the island with confidence. We were able to adapt the walks to our abilities.

Our taxi driver recommended restaurants in the village which added to our enjoyment of the holiday.

The places we visited were fascinating and the hotels we stayed in were mostly small, friendly and historic. This was our 14th Inntravel holiday and while the basics remain good, we are increasingly disappointed with the company's apparent lack of attention to detail which used to be such a feature of Inntravel holidays. This seems to be happening against a background of relentless marketing.
Having said that, the cities of Granada, Cordoba and Seville should be on everybody's bucket list.

We have taken twelve Inntravel hiking adventures in various countries, mostly grade 2. Having tried other outfitters we find Inntravel best in class. The accommodations are reliably as described and as far as I can tell the best available on the route. The notes and map points are fabulous and we never have trouble knowing where we are. The innkeepers are generally delighted to have you there and are very gracious and helpful. Always a good value and consistent with the upfront information.

A very well organised walking holiday in south of France. Lovely accommodation, easy transit to and from airport, great walks and great food. Went end Sept which was perfect temperature for walking. We also had sunshine every day.

We had an amazing holiday walking from Collioure to Cadaques at the end of October. The hotels on the way were lovely, the walking varied from 10k to 16k and the routes were well described, beautiful and easy. The well thought out itinerary gave us enough time to explore each town we stayed in and enjoy the art and the food. We liked Llanca. Hotel La Goleta is charming and the dinner at their restaurant Els Pescadors was the best of the trip. Cadaques is picture postcard perfect and Dali's garden well worth a visit. Inntravel's organisation was superb throughout, everything ran like clockwork. Finishing up with a couple of days in Barcelona was a great end to a wonderful holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our self-guided walking in the mountains of Sicily. The remote walks with amazing scenery were well described, as usual, and, although challenging at times, only what we had expected. Lovely but varied accommodation in hilltop villages with excellent local food.

Loved the hotels and the destinations, quite spectacular. There are 2 amazing permit only walks through ancient pine forest and over a ridge - then another into the green gorge where griffon vultures nest - very very beautiful. Our host gave us advice on the best walks for the weather conditions.
Really did not love the whole booking process and I truly don’t think our booking would have been confirmed had I not made many calls and emails - I almost cancelled it was so bad. It’s also not good that you can’t easily speak to anyone on the phone.

This was our first experience of Inntravel (we did a walking holiday in the Black Forest), and we were very impressed. Very well organised, travel connections worked well, great hotels, good walks and clear walking instructions. Excellent weather too!

We both enjoyed our self-guided 4 day walking tour along the Catalan coast. Both hotels were of an excellent standard and offered a great contrast between Calella and Begur. The recommended walking routes took us along quiet country lanes along stunning coastal paths, which were rough in places, and through some beautiful coastal villages. Would highly recommend. The only criticism would be that the walking route notes need bringing up to date as they were wrong and misleading in a couple of places.

Fantastic holiday to the Duoro Valley - very well organised and researched by Inntravel. Superb unique hotels that way exceeded my expectation. Perfect balance of walking and beautiful scenery and wonderful food, wine and relaxation in the very well managed hotels.

The planned walks were excellent; the organisation excellent; the hotels very good, one very excellent; the Inntravel staff were helpful.
