I am in my eighties and undertake making gifts which require paints and glues and varnishes. Wandering into Inspiration Paints (aptly named), I was often bewildered about colours and brands and always found a helpful shop assistant who directed and guided me in a good direction. Standing among paint-splattered guys who all that professional look about them, I was never made to feel out-of-it. With the help I received I ended up painting, by brush, an entire dividing wooden fence and touching up spaces inside the home. The staff at 'Inspiration' made me feel that, yes, I could do the jobs.

Always friendly and prices comparable to Bunnings. Like the click and collect service, very convenient.

Purchased 1l of Dulux oil based low sheen to match on a section of trim around a new door. The original paint job was with Snowy Mountains quarter and less than 2 years old so I was disappointed to find the new paint didn’t match the old when I started to paint the new work. The team at the Surrey Hills store explained this is because of the tendency of oil based paints to yellow. Fortunately the guys were able to re-tint to compensate for the change. I really appreciated help and support I received.

2 years ago I was a painting novice and today I have completed a repaint of the interior and exterior of our house.
