Flat sandals fit perfectly. Wedge sandals - same size - a bit short. Perhaps the website should advise when to go a size larger.

This is my second pair of Pro Island flip flops. A superior product in quality by far. Excellent for boating. Shipping is a bit slow as expected as this product is coming from Hawaii.

I had a pair of Island slippers custom made and the customer service was great. Lamela help me and spent a lot of time with me over the phone and at no time did I feel rushed. I would recommend Island Slipper to anyone who is looking for a well built slipper that's Made in Hawaii

Recently I bought a pair of island slippers for a gift. My brother-in-law loved them so much that I decided to send some to my brother. I had special delivery instructions and the customer service team, Lamela in particular, was awesome. Would highly recommend the product and the staff.

In all the years that I have been purchasing shoes from Island Slipper I have never had one bad experience. My only regret is that I can no longer purchase their slippers on St Maarten and have to go online to get them, but the process is easy and fast.

The slippers are so well made that I go hiking in them and walk long distances in them most days. They are comfortable and long lasting.

The slippers were lovely to look at, but they off gassed a smell that was very dominant. Customer service was outstanding they sent a return label and issued a full refund.

Best slippers ever!

I found Island Slippers at a little shop at Litchfield Beach, SC and loved them so much I ordered direct online afterward. I was able to have a pair special made in a color that wasn't shown! We were leaving on vacation and wanted to get them in a week and they rushed them at no extra charge! They are so comfortable I was able to wear a pair walking around DisneyWorld for 14 hours and my feet never hurt. Shoes are high quality, service is exceptional. I am a teacher and I wear them to school nearly every day. (I own 8 pair in different styles and colors). I even just bought my daughter her first pair and she loves them too. I plan on ordering many more in the future.

After a false start w/customer service following my initial order (no need for the details b/c the subsequent customer service was top notch and rectified the issue), I received my pair of black, size 9, M Captain. This is actually my 2nd pair of this model -- ordered the brown pair about 2yrs ago and have been very happy w/them ever since.

The aesthetics and the feel are 5-star. Beautiful design, perfect color, and sturdy. Additionally, this model is comfortable right out of the box. No break in period required. Regarding sizing, I recommend ordering up. I wear 7.5E in Allen Edmonds, 7.5 in Frye, and 8.5D in New Balance. Although they do fit, the size 9 in M Captain is on the cusp of being too small. If available, a 9.5 would probably be perfect. Finally, note that not all Island Slipper models are congruent, i.e. the Classic line runs narrower and smaller than the Deck line.

To put a fine point on it -- these are the best flip flops I have ever owned. I encourage all my friends to buy them, and I cannot foresee going elsewhere for flip flops.

Have been purchasing Island Slippers for years & love the comfort & arch support.

Been wearing these slippers since 1977. From that time till I moved to Kauai, I worked for a 501 C-3 non-profit, working with children, youth & families mostly in a wilderness setting. I would carry between 65-80 pound backpack throughout different locations in the southwest and western states and I always wore these slippers.

My oldest pair finally gave out after fifteen years, so even though they cost more, you can't beat the workmanship that goes into making them. I did buy a pair of the Mokulua style and I have noticed that they are slightly starting to separate as if not enough glue was applied. Not in bad shape, just surprised that this way happening so soon. I must say they are the most comfortable pair I have ever owned and once this pair wears out or falls apart, I will order another pair without a doubt.
I highly recommend spending the money and buying a pair from Island Slippers, whichever style you like, they are worth it!!!

Ever since I bought my first pair in Hawaii many years ago, I've been ordering them on a regular basis. I have multiples of the same shoes. My plan is to eventually have all the patterns available. I haven't tried every style that they carry (and I won't, only because they are not suitable for my feet), but the two that I get are wonderfully comfortable. I wear them every day, inside and out (weather permitting).
