Painful trader

They don’t sell items they have in stock. Been told my order will be delivered in august 2023 and we are in January 2023. I cancelled the order then still fighting to get my refund off them. Don’t bother with these people

This lengthy lead-time was as advised directly by the manufacturer who had previously advised the item as available late January 2023 and is sadly beyond our control.
Please accept my deepest apologies for this oversight, I simply forgot to press the button to action your refund. This was a genuine mistake that has been rectified at 07:50 this morning. I'm sorry you felt that it was a fight to get your refund, this would imply that we had offered resistance to the process which was never the case, we never quibble a refund due to non-availability.

Hello David, We take the security of our customers information extremely seriously but despite extensive online security measures in place have become the victim of a sophisticated attack. Due to the frequency of checks only a small number of customers who paid by credit card were affected, and the site was withdrawn immediately when we were made aware of the issue. Our IT team are investigating the security breach and are putting additional security protocols & measures in place to ensure this does not occur again. The site will remain offline until these have been implemented and we are confident the site is fully secure. We have followed the ICO’s strict guidelines in notifying all customers affected by phone, email and in writing. Poor website stock

Let me pay a lot of money for a test instrument, then emailed to say it was out of stock. So had to wait days for the refund before going elsewhere to purchase.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our service to you, we welcome all feedback good, bad or indifferent.
Whilst we are of course very sorry that you feel let down by a stock shortage and hence our service, I'd like to highlight a couple of points of observation from your comments. Firstly, as an industry we are in the thick of a very serious component shortage caused essentially by post pandemic issues with manufacture and logistics making it a global problem right now and probably will remain so for the rest of the year and possibly into next.
Secondly regarding your transaction, we aim to contact all customers that face a delay within the shortest time to inform them which was the case with this order, your refund was actioned only a few hours later at around 2:15pm. There is unfortunately always a delay with transferred funds through the banking system before they reflect on your balance back to you, this is quite normal and is unquantifiable by us.
We are however glad that you have managed to source the item as we would far prefer this that actually keep you waiting and whilst this order wasn't fulfilled as either you or I would have liked we would certainly hope that we may have a chance to be able to serve you better in the future.

Excellent and very Efficient service from this seller, competitively priced for a quality product. Would highly recommend dealing with this company, one of the items from my order was out of stock, this happens. What doesn’t normally happen in my experience is the company you are dealing with don’t always pass this on to the customer. Again this company informed me ASAP warning of this. So as far as I’m concerned it’s 10/10 for everything. Thanks guys

Good Service

*UPDATE : I received an email after this review saying they just received the item and can send it next day delivery for me. I got it and all is good. They are looking into why I didn't get a response last week.

Said it will arrive in 2-3 days. It has now been a week and it's still not even been dispatched. I have sent two emails asking about it and not had a single response. Not happy after spending almost £700.

This is a shame as your item arrived here this morning and is due to be shipped to you this afternoon on a next-day service. You order has indeed been a couple of days over-schedule and whilst we apologise for this delay I would like to stress that your order was placed immediately with the manufacturer and we gave you a projected delivery scope based on their ability to ship withing their stated time frame.
The global component shortage largely caused by the post-effects of the pandemic are accounting for shortages and delays with almost all electronic equipment industry-wide at this time. Whilst we do not seek to use this as an excuse it is a very real situation and affecting supply chains badly, a situation we see existing for the rest of this year and possibly beyond.
I really do hope that I can impress upon you that we have done everything within our power to get your order to you in the best possible time-frame amid these difficult circumstances and would welcome the opportunity to be of service to you again in the future.
