I was really impressed with his customer service. So much so I’ll try and feedback directly to his company, he’s a credit to them. I wish all staff were so helpful at other retailers

Took a Macbook Pro in for a charging issue in Woking, received back a wiped machine. When I dropped it off I explained that backups hadn't been possible as it would only charge when powered off. It turns out their fix involved throwing away the old disk. At NO POINT was it explained that the disk would be wiped and indeed what was returned was an empty machine with a 4 year old OS. When asking the (frankly rude) staff why this had happened they said 'it's in the T&C's mate', which I got about 5 seconds to read whilst dropping it off. No apology, no explanation. AVOID this shop, take any repairs to a proper Apple store. Lesson learned.

Booked appointment at the store for this morning first appointment available to be told screen replacement could take all day no guarantee before 5 even after phoning two days prior to make sure and being told 2-3 hours wouldn’t have made the journey with my toddler to wait around for hours if I’d have known and just sent it off. Travelled from Worcester to Cheltenham so 40 minute drive maybe more and paid for parking all to be told this as I arrived. No point in making appointments or calling when it’s false information. Waste of my money and time.

My Daughter had a booking for 10.20am in cheltenahm , booked online tuesday 21st of october , she also called the store to see how long the repair for a new screen would take, She was told 2 hours over the phone, arrived in store to be told it will take until 5pm today to fix and was tld theres other repairs infront of her, if you have a time slot why is this now all day repair,
if i had a time slot with An APPLE STORE they would get the job done in 2 hours ,
i also called the store today to check for a new screen and was again told it would take 2 hours and no mention takign all day ,
on your reviews its not the 1st time this issue has arrived, its time someone reviewed the repair process.

I am very disappointed with iStore and the Woking Branch.
I booked my iPhone in for a Battery Service (new battery). I had to log into my Apple Account to make the booking which correctly identified my device as an iPhone 8. I made the booking for 10:00am this morning at iStore in Woking and I had a reminder from Albion at 9:00am via text message.
On arrival I was told they cannot change a battery for an iPhone 8 as it is too old. Fair enough but why accept the booking and why did Albion not say in his reminder message "WARNING, WE CANNOT FIT NEW BATTERIES FOR iPHONE 8s AND OLDER". This would have saved me a 30 minute drive there and back plus a £2.20 parking fee.
Not a happy customer. However, I am still happy with my iPhone 8, so why should I be forced to upgrade?

It’s true that for older iPhone models, classed as 'vintage'. Apple no longer supplies the required replacement parts — however, in this particular case, we do in fact have an Apple battery for your iPhone 8.
To make up for the inconvenience and the unnecessary journey you made, we would like to offer you a free battery replacement at our Woking branch. Please let us know if you would like us to arrange this for a convenient time for you to return.

Went to the I store in Crawley with the intention of buying a £750 I watch ultra. Asked to try it on, as you would and was told no as I might run out with it! I’m a 63 year old man. Walked out and they lost a sell …..Think I’ll stay with Gamin!

I booked an appointment for a battery replacement with IStore Bond St. Chelmsford on 15/09 for 20/09.
I arrived at 10:30 for my 10:40 appointment.
When I arrived a 'colleague' asked me if I had received their email.
Naturally I hadn't. I was walking from the car park to the store (about 10 mins) when the mail was sent at 10:13.
Of course I now know that they hadn’t got a battery in stock. They hadn’t ordered a battery. Indeed they apparently can’t order a battery unless I leave my phone with them for a couple of days.
When I express amazement at this the man I was speaking to said "That's how Apple want us to work".
Who is going to leave their phone for "Two or Three working days" to get a battery fitted.
They had a week to tell me all this and save me a journey.... but didn’t.
Not even a "sorry about that".
The booking with Apple says "same day service by the way".
Thanks for your response. It would all make sense except that when I voiced my complaint about the service you replied to say that...
"I can get you booked in and ensure there is a battery there awaiting your arrival".
I really did appreciate that prompt response and the offer to ensure better service. It suggests to me that the problem with the service may be just with the Chelmsford store rather than the ethos of the company as a whole.
I think you may be as disappointed as I was and I hope this helps you improve the service in Chelmsford.

Do not buy off this company they package old products and sell them off as new …I purchased an Apple Pencil it was packaged so it looked new ..But it was broken and also bent …I bought a new one from curry’s and they only refunded half the money ….rip off I have e mailed them several times
