We were on a trip from Genoa to Turin…
We were on a trip from Genoa to Turin in September 2022. My wife did not feel well. The station and train personnel went above and beyond to provide assistance and make sure we get to our destination!!! So did members of Genoa police and ambulance workers. Thank you everyone for taking such great care of us !!!

Train was great, seating needs help
Train was great. Only issue was the assigned seats on the tickets were not correct for many people. We had to sit in random seats and worry when people saying we were in their seats. This was the case for all 3 of my tickets. But the attendants said to sit anywhere.

Bullies
Your people need training in kindness. Stefano (train from Rome to Assisi) was belligerent, sarcastic, and totally nasty. One does not need a passport on that route. He puffed out his chest and said,” I am an official of the Italian train.” No, sir, you are a bully and a horrible excuse for a human.

Train service was on time. On-board service was good as well. The seating (in first class) was comfortable and luggage storage was sufficient.

Great train system. Staff could be a little aloof and not helpful. Staff should be trained to go the extra mile in helping a tourist because they put food on their table. No tourists no job.
