This is a super place to stay. It's right on the water, in a quirky, historic building. The bedrooms are simple but comfortable, and the staff are friendly. We stayed as a family group (4 rooms) fol... See more

It was pretty terrible! We arrived late and although it says there's no designated parking on the hotel comments, id not seen that detail. The parking was a public carpark, across the street and down a road. I made this walk along 2 unlit roads in the dark and we had to pay. I'd this had been longer than 1 night, the additional cost (& danger) would have been quite significant.
The map didn't correspond to the layout. The door with accommodation written on it was left open so we didn't see it at first.
The room was clean and tidy but the trees were bursting in at the window. The carpet didn't meet the skirting and the loud noise from the generator in the kitchen below (room 12) was SO loud it kept us from sleeping. At 00.15 I contacted the manager and we moved rooms and were given a refund so, can't complain about that.
The second room - the bed was on wooden blocks! We left shattered, ready for a 3 hour drive! Won't stay again!
Lovely location, welcoming people. Very clean. Comfortable bed.
Firstly, a big thank you to all the lovely staff, who really make this place! 🙏 To Anna who was exceptionally friendly and accommodating during the booking process, to Allan who provided such a warm welcome, and to Danny who my friend and I agreed cooked the best breakfast bap we'd ever had! (and we're FREQUENT visitors to biker cafes, so to go straight to the top of this league on a debut really is something!! 😋)
The whole place has such a lovely buzz to it! An unbelievably scenic location, a lovely quaint bar, and TONS of community spirit. It's also directly on the 'Chichester 6 Harbour Villages' 10-mile hike which is amongst the prettiest routes I've ever had the pleasure of exploring in the UK!
I can't wait to return! Thank you all again!!
Delightful stay and friendly sailing club staff around. We were there on a Sunday night so bar and local pub had closed early which was a shame but we had a fabulous brunch following morning at the nearby Orca cafe.
Very simple gaining access to a neat, albeit small room. Problem with bathroom out of action, but not an issue. Very attractive location, albeit off the beaten track.
Very peaceful and nice welcome. One bathroom out of action and be careful in the top bathroom if you're over 5'8" - I banged my head more than once!!
Couldn't get food due to sailing dinner - didn't think one more person would be too difficult !!
We really enjoyed staying over in your club rooms while we took part in two day’s kayak training.
Beautiful location .. Great rooms .. It really added to our enjoyment of our trip.
I’m sure we’ll be back.
A very pleasant room in a stunning location. Clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff.
Itchenor is a beautiful place, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Our room was small and simple, but had everything we needed.
Hope to come back again soon !
no parking on site nearest 5 minutes walk £7 per night, lovely place, quiet, peaceful, dark sky at night, no air conditioning - you can open the window but the smell is typical of the port - bay...
Beautiful location overlooking the water. Friendly staff, great little bolthole.
Clean, comfortable and welcoming in a great setting overlooking Itchenor Reach. All in all to be recommended.
Incredibly sweet little place. Cosy and charming
I stayed in one of the small rooms without a sea view. It was very clean with nicely themed nautical decor and ample towels. Although the bathrooms are shared, my room was directly adjacent for easy access. The lady who checked me in was friendly and made sure I was aware of safety hazards e.g. a shallow step. There was no option of dinner or breakfast on the day I stayed, but I knew this beforehand so it was not a problem. The staff accommodated my need for a late check-in and gave very clear instructions, replying to my messages in good time. Really enjoyed watching the sunset over the harbour on a beautiful day.
My only small grumble is that the weather was very hot and the room had a sort of window/door opening onto the fire escape. If this had been opened a little before I arrived the room would have been more comfortable, but there was ample time to cool the room before I slept.
The Sailing Club accommodations are quaint and quiet with a great location right on the water. The room and bathroom are both a decent size with plenty of natural light and lighting. The room has nice simple nautical decor matching its location and purpose. Everything was clean and neat. The staff is very nice and check-in was smooth.
It was a very nice spot in a very quiet location. It’s a little bit hard to find where to go if there are no staff around and the communication isn’t great over the weekend but if you are assistant you will get what you need
Charming club in a great location. Wonderful view from our room over the boat park and slipways to the harbour.
