Do not use this for Windows 11 it does not work with high resultion screens. You get icons twice and sometimes 4 times as big as used in Windows 11 and there is no solution for it. As waste of time and money

I purchased a paid subscription for iTop VPN on Windows, expecting stable performance and no ads. Instead, I experienced frequent connection drops, unstable speeds, and intrusive advertising — even though this is a paid product.
For a VPN service, reliability and stability are the most important features. Unfortunately, in my experience, iTop VPN fails at both. The connection often doesn’t work at all, and when it does, it can disconnect unexpectedly.
I cannot recommend this service to anyone looking for a dependable VPN. Very disappointing experience.

Purchased a 2-year subscription by mistake on October 5, 2025 (5599 RUB). Realized the error immediately and requested cancellation/refund through their cancellation section and support.
Timeline:
Opened chargeback with my bank (Sberbank) right away → denied because "service is provided in full".
Contacted iTop support: told to wait 30 days due to "pending funds".
After 30 days: "funds not received" → advised to contact payment processor (they confirmed funds went to iTop).
Then: "wait 120 days from activation".
After 120+ days (now 140+ days passed): offered "additional features" instead of refund.
Insisted on refund only → last messages ignored for 7+ days.
Subscription still active, no cancellation, no refund.
Their official Refund Policy clearly states 30-day full money-back guarantee for all subscription plans. They violated it completely with delays, contradictions, and ignoring requests.
Sent formal claim to support, media — no response. Bank refused chargeback again.
This seems like deliberate evasion. I do not recommend iTop VPN — poor support, misleading refund policy, and bad faith handling. 1 star only because the app might work for some, but customer service is unacceptable.

My reply to iTop VPN’s latest response:
Thank you for your reply.
You directly stated:
“In this case, we will not provide any evidence and will notify our partners about the need to refund the funds.”
This means you yourself acknowledge that a refund of 5,599 RUB is required and are ready to initiate it.
I request a full refund of 5,599 RUB to my original card within 7 days, along with confirmation (transaction ID or screenshot).
If the money is not received by March 15, 2026, I will continue public disclosure of this case and further escalation with the Hong Kong Consumer Council (Case No. 301/113963/2026 is already under active review).
I am waiting for confirmation of the refund.

Update as of March 16, 2026:
It has now been 5 months since the purchase.
iTop VPN has still not returned a single ruble.
After their public reply on Trustpilot (“we will notify our partners about the need to refund the funds”), I contacted support the same day — complete silence. No reply, no refund, no confirmation.
They continue to ignore all messages, even though they publicly admitted on Trustpilot that the refund is necessary.
The money has still not been refunded.
iTop, return the 5,599 RUB to my card. This is no longer “support” — this is clear fraud with your own money-back guarantee.
Update:
After more than 5 months of fighting, iTop VPN finally returned my 5,599 RUB.
The money was received via bank transfer.
However, it took an incredibly long time, many ignored messages, contradictory answers and pressure from the Hong Kong Consumer Council (Case No. 301/113963/2026) to make it happen.
If you are thinking about buying from iTop VPN — be prepared that getting a refund (even when they promise 30-day money-back guarantee) can turn into a real nightmare.
The refund was eventually made, but the service and support were terrible.

I have moved my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.
It took a while, some emails were sent and via my payment provider correspondence was fine, and everything refunded. It should not have happened and it took a bit longer than expected.

The product isn't to bad to be honest, and I do like it, it is a pity the database wasn't installed in a different format, as I would like to use the dualsafe password vault with linux too.

I cannot in all honesty with the vendors response and full refund, say that I like the product and keep the review at 1 star, I will set it a 3 stars and advise caution. (3.5 would suit me fine)

These people renewed a subscription after I cancelled it, they took the money after cancelling and ironically the product remains inactive reminding me it should be renewed,

Not to be trusted, if they reactivate cancelled subscriptions this is an act of fraud.

My complaint is with the recorder. I had been using the Screen recorder for quite a long time now, the Paid Version LIFETIME LICENSE, they asked me to UPGRADE their new one, I did but I paid for a NEW VERSION which is IDENTICAL to the one already in my possession! I IMMEDIATLY request a refund given the absolute silliness of paying AGAIN for a LIFETIME license that at this point is a joke. In 2 requests by my registered email I HAVE RECEIVED ZERO ANSWER, beside the Screen recorder is not so incredible, I WONDER will they answer me and REFUND me given their 30 days refund guarantee??? for now a STAR until they rectify and refund me for this useless upgrade.

THE COMPANY HAS REFUNDED ME IN FULL.
I always appreciate when a software company refunds you proving they are honest and loyal to their customers.

Downloaded Smart Defrag from Major Geeks..all of a sudden without permission (or any boxes to check) completely changed every thing about my computer desk top, task bar added screenshot, voice recorder..WTF!?
completely disrupted my day....trying to figure out what happened....I Top?....what is this?....couldn't close windows, etc.....by the time I found out who and what...the parasite(s) and host (Obit) were both permanently "evicted".....what a WASTE of my time

This program is scareware Other programs from Iobit spams my computer with commercials and "warnings" that my IP and personal information is supposed to be exposed on the internet. OF COURSE my IP is visible, that is how data from the internet is sent to MY computer and not just a random computer! AND I USE A VPN SERVICE, so NO, my personal information is NOT exposed on the internet as Iobit claims!!!

i have itop screen recorder and they limit the key. i had a few pc problems and had to reset it i few times . Now my itop screen recorder key wont work and i cannot use it. I connected support and no answer it takes ages for you to use your software. hopeless support so slow.

Very Old-School company. Just like in 1999, if you download a trial version of one of their products you get all of their products pushed down your thoat. As an extra you get 'reminders' in the form of pop-ups and they automaticaly create shortcuts in lower task bar.

1 Gb of software, just to try their Driver updater, (which is capped at 1 driver update per day).

Even IF the product I wanted to test is fabulous. I will never hand 1 cent to this company as long as they act like the obnoxious classmate from middle school.

I don't like their product called "Smart Game Booster". Whoever installed this product already encountered first problems and Windows turns into unusable system or the whole PC is already wrecked because of this product. Their products shouldn't behave like "Rogueware" what objects to be uninstalled because it can instantly trigger the red light in persons minds, disabling important Windows services by this product always leads to more consequences than use while playing the games because of this product. Overclocking PC is very dangerous for non-advanced persons and this function should be disabled in default to prevent damaging PC even further because PC repairs ain't cheap these days. I can't believe how this product can overclock PC without more improved things such as: Displaying an information about overclocking & consequences from it, a product shouldn't apply overclocking by itself, but should ask an user first did he wants to do it or not. Costant annoying pop ups & nagware to force an user to install more of their apps & pay for paid version is another part of the cons in their products - because it'll bring more hate to this company than positive reviews, this software already caused too much trouble for the users from "Steam" platform - not to mention that this product is really difficult to uninstall since it behaves like the true "rogueware" product. If the company can't do a crap to make their products more stable & less problematic - they should stop advertising their products & do something useful for the community like: Listening to their suggestions, opinions and etc.

It somehow got onto my PC and managed to get itself installed through nagware. The only option on one message was to proceed so I thought I would have a cancel option on the next page, nope, it installed. I cannot possibly trust a company or their services if they use deceit so I am now looking to see what other software they make and making sure I don't have it on my system.

by just using only a free version of this vpn i was surprised of the speed and fast connectivity of it and i was wondering if the free version is so good then what would the pro version be like and btw I'm a Iranian user with the most severe limitation of the Internet that can not connect easily to global internet and use all the benefits of it and in the end I'm so grateful of iTOP VPN that made me to come here and enjoy the fully accessed with high speed connectivity to worldwide internet.

It has incredible internet speed and in its free state the speed is also decent, apart from that the connection is very secure and the interface is beautiful and comfortable.
