Not a great experience. I purchased a Yu-gi-Oh product but received communication from them that they could not complete my order because they increased the price. However they gave me the “opportunity” to repurchase the item I already purchased… at the higher price. I promptly declined because… what? Avoid this seller. 😕

Japan Figure will cancel your order if they can earn more money from it. I bought 2 boxes of Yu-Gi-Oh at £53.00 each, however because the price rose 2 days later worldwide, they pushed the price of each box to £94.00 and cancelled my order.

They then tried to give me £5 as a discount, or force me to BUY THE £94.00 (PER BOX) AFTER SAYING THEY HAD NO STOCK.

If a company will lie to you and try to scalp you, then you are better off going elsewhere. I saw the 4,000+ views and I thought I could trust them but they lied to me and then tried to force me to pay ridiculous amounts of money.

Go to another Japanese company instead.

Placed an order, then wrote them to add another item, took days, communication was poor and when I cancelled because of their inability to service the situation in a reasonable manner and time they charge me a cancellation fee. Poor service, poor attitude.

Very navigable website. Detailed emails with updated shipping alerts. Prices are cery competitive prices. I would definitely use them again.

Scam! They ask for more money after placing the order!
I placed an order back in November because they had an item on sale, I had seen it on sale a couple of times and this time I decided to pull the trigger.

A week later Japan Figure reached to me asking for more money to ship my order, they said their price 'was a mistake', but it wasn't a mistake like the price is $100 USD and they had a price of $10 USD, which could be a typo, no, this was an item with a 40% discount during their sale event close to Thanksgiving. I asked for my order to be shipped and they refused and offered me a couple of dollars coupon, and when I refused, they just cancelled my order.

I have seen other reviews stating that Japan Figure does NOT honor their own prices, I don't know if this is some kind of scam or something, but I reported them to the Federal Trade Comission, so they can be blocked in the US if they continue this practice, I don't want another Nippon-Yasan or SideSevenExports situation with these guys.

This shop has a huge selection of collectibles and figures from all kinds of manga and anime. And if they don't have something in stock, they can often get it for you. But for me, the most important thing about online shops is customer support, and it's absolutely top-notch. The response times are fantastic, especially considering I'm in Germany and JF Support is located in Japan, eight hours ahead of me. I usually get answers within 24 hours, and even sooner if I contact them early enough. They're also always ready to help with questions about shipping or costs, whether it's with preliminary calculations of expected shipping costs (which can sometimes be a bit higher depending on the shipping method) or with order adjustments if you've ordered something incorrectly. The quality of the items is also very good, especially new items and pre-orders. And if a problem with the quality of a product does occur, JF Support is once again very helpful in finding a solution.

Shipments are always trackable, and thanks to providers like FedEx or DHL Worldwide Express, the entire process is handled by one company. If you want to save on shipping, there are many other shipping providers, but they tend to have longer delivery times. If you're looking for a trustworthy and reliable online retailer for Japanese collectibles and figures of all kinds, who also offers excellent customer support, then Japan-Figure is the perfect choice.
And something like that isn't so easy to find these days.
