Watch was as advertised. The shipping was good - tracking information was provided in both Japan and the USA postal services and questions were answered promptly via email correspondence. I highly recommend purchasing from this store again. The watch was great - I really like the radio frequency time setting.

The item was not shipped until over two…
The item was not shipped until over two weeks after ordering. After enquiring why the delay, they told me that's because they don't stock items and buy them direct from supplier/manufacturer to ship to consumers and in this instance their supplier has stock issues themselves....so why show the products in stock on your website without warning customers that you don't have stock with potential lead-time?! Long story short, the items finally shipped but still have not arrived despite going past the deadline. The savings are very small compared with competitors and these 'clowns' do not live up to the Japanese professionalism expected of them. Avoid them and you will save yourself a whole load of hassle.
UPDATE 16th DEC'25 - The seller replied to me to offer a £10 'Goodwill gesture' but they are only able to do that if...and this is a direct quote from their email...
"I (Rina) would like to clarify one internal procedural point on our side. At the moment, our system still shows an active negative review associated with this order, which means the case is automatically classified as open in our finance and compliance system. While a case remains open in this way, our finance team is unfortunately unable to release any goodwill refunds, even when they have already been approved"
Are they Japanese?! not sure, they are trying to extort a positive feedback out of me like a Chinese 'outfit'.....

Some of our products are sourced directly from our partner suppliers in Japan rather than held in local stock. While we do our best to keep stock information accurate, delays can unfortunately occur when suppliers face unexpected availability issues. We acknowledge that this should have been communicated more clearly upfront, and we apologize for that shortcoming.
Regarding the goodwill refund: this is not a condition or an attempt to pressure feedback. It is a mandatory internal compliance process, our finance system does not allow any partial refunds or goodwill gestures to be released while a case is flagged as open due to an active negative review. This policy applies uniformly to all customers, without exception.
If this process is not acceptable to you, we fully respect your decision. In that case, we consider the matter closed on our side. Nevertheless, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused and thank you for sharing your feedback, which helps us improve our communication and service going forward.

Great place for model kits
Ordered a Digimon model kit from them, price was decent and it arrived within 2 weeks of ordering. There was a slight hiccup with the shipping cost but they were quick to sort it out for me so I can’t complain.

And that blue gift bag it says "Present for you." & "Your smile makes me happy." "Thank you for being you." That was very thoughtful of you to show love & kindness. It really means a lot to me. And also for the Arknights TCG Cards. The packaging was very well packed and it was on good condition. When I unwrapped all the cards, I also found rare & SR cards. Poor Customer Service
I purchased a Japanese saw from them on 23/11/2025. The saw cost £65 and the shipping was £40. After no shipping update was received by the end of 27/11 I emailed them to ask when the saw would ship.
The next day I received the reply that the saw could only ship via UPS and I would need to pay a further £15 shipping. That meant that with customs and duties charges to the UK, the saw was no longer cheaper than purchasing from a UK dealer.
I run my own business and if I make a mistake when a customer orders an item, I don't ask the customer to pay for that mistake. I ship the item and swallow the cost myself, as the mistake was mine.
Japan Figure did not do that. I cancelled the order and they allowed me to do that. They should have come back and said "the mistake was our's, we'll sort it, your order has been shipped".
This was my first order and had they fulfilled it appropriately I would have ordered again. Now I will not. How to lose a solid customer in one easy move..
UPDATE 04/12 - Thank you for your reply, which I appreciate. However, if Japan EMS cannot handle the safe transportation of saws and blades internationally, then it should not have been a shipping option at checkout.

Regarding the Silky Katana Boy 500 403-50 Folding Saw you ordered, unfortunately this item cannot be shipped through Japan Post EMS - the shipping method you originally selected. EMS strictly rejects saws, blades, and sharp tools during customs inspection, and the package would be returned immediately. We wanted to avoid that outcome because a return from customs often results in additional fees for both you and us, and you would have waited even longer without receiving your item.
That’s why we suggested switching to UPS, which is one of the few reliable couriers that can legally and safely ship sharp tools to your country. However, the difference between the EMS fee you paid and the actual UPS fee was quite large. Since we only collect shipping costs on behalf of the carrier, and because your saw was already offered at a price much lower than other retailers, we simply did not have enough margin to fully cover the shipping upgrade internally.
We understand your perspective completely - especially since you mentioned your own business practices, and we respect that. We only reached out to ask for your permission first, never to pressure you. Whether to keep the order or cancel it was entirely up to you, and once you chose to cancel, we issued a full refund right away.
We’re truly sorry that we couldn’t honour your order in the way you expected, and even more sorry that this situation cost us the opportunity to serve you again. We hope you can accept our sincere apology, and we genuinely appreciate you giving us a chance in the first place.
If there is anything we can do to make this right in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Items purchased arrived in good condition and the price was reasonable. The reason for only two stars is for the very long time to fulfill and receive the order. I placed the order on October 8, 2025 and paid a nice sum for expedited FedEx shipping. The order was not dropped off to FedEx until October 20 and finally arrived today on November 13. Over a month. Communication with the business during this time was not helpful. In the end they did take responsibility and apologize, but offered no tangible resolution to rectify the situation or give me reason to place any future orders.
