It’s nice and easy to navigate but it’s also a little bit cramped
As an organisation there is nothing you can do in your current business model - pile 'em high, sell it cheap.
Just too busy.

JD Gyms used to be a great a gym, due to work circumstances I had to stop my membership last year, however I joined again recently and every session back has been disappointing. - Handles/Grips missing from equipment, a lot of machines not working, showers unexpectedly changing temperatures and also the closing of the sauna because there was water bottles in there - I understand that the users need to appreciate the space however it doesn’t make any sense “punishing” everyone else by turning the sauna off for a week or more. I over heard multiple people in the gym complaining about the same situation “I came today just for the sauna” - they wasn’t able to use a facility that they’re paying for because the staff thought it was ok to switch off.

Very nice and clean gym. Spacious and has lots of equipment. The true bonus is the sauna. What’s important it is open 24/7, has parking and secure entrance. Highly recommended!
It's a little bit to cold in the gym. It's not summer anymore 😁
On my visit this past Monday sadly the sauna was turned off, it was disappointing as I was really looking forward to using it. Though the gym staff was friendly and polite, the staff assured me he would look into this for me
No staff on floor. Staff stay in staff room . After 3 sessions of going am yet to see staff on the floor . U have to go to staff door to get any help , would be nice for an employee to be on the floor so you don’t have to go looking for one if you have an issue.
Didn’t end up going to the gym after someone I know had a bad time there and it put me off. So I cancelled my membership on day 15. They deliberately processed the cancellation one day after my next payment was taken to get another £21.99 out of me. Kindly pointed out in the terms it says “30 days notice helps” it doesn’t say require. And 15 days notice should’ve been more than enough. However they are refusing a refund even though I never went at all.
My idea is- JD app should show how busy the gym is at the time- meaning how many ppl is currently at the gym. Surely it is possible to create an algorithm that counts amount of scanned barcodes at the entry/exit stage and sends that data live on the app.
That would be so useful especially for ppl that stretch their daily schedules. Doncaster branch is really busy place and from what I been told by my friends that use Leeds branch- it is the same. That option on the app would definitely avoid disappointments caused by coming to the gym and realising that it’s necessary to come back later or even skip training session.
Spinning bikes, not serviced Toilets have not cleaned. Showers are Door broken you'll look after the club it's not done
Kit is always broken, cleaning never happens, changing rooms locked from 12pm to 5am (more like 7am) in a 24 hour gym.
I have been a member of this GYM before but unfortunately it is local to me.
Fortunately I only want to do a bit of running and some cycling.
The GYM doesn’t appear to get much of a clean. The sanitation stations have been removed therefore you are usually following the previous person with their sweat all over the machine. Not everyone would use them but those of us with hygiene standards would.
There are rarely any staff to speak to or ask for advise and to be fair when I have I have felt like I’ve been brushed off.
Finally the amount of machines that either don’t work or are broken is ridiculous. I had to get on 3 spin bikes once before finding one that actually worked properly and a couple of running machines as the belts were slipping.
I liked the vast array of equipment and facilities. I just don't like the music genre. Its a bit too loud and overpowering. Plus I won't train in headphones or earpods.
I have just joined this gym and the amount and variety of exercise machines is brilliant. Staff are very helpful and quickly show you how to use something if you are not sure. Have now tried lots of different exercises.

Good machine although some need attention.. not much additional equipment for the cables, lack of grips and so on
But the reason for the 2 stars is the Changing rooms.. Absolutely disgusting, always stinks of wee and poo.. toilet seats been missing for over 5/6 months
I have now left and gone to another gym and it would take alot for me to go back and use JD GYM Doncaster

On my first day I’ve asked a an instructor if I can ask a question, I did not ask to help me, or show me something what required her personal time and she told me NO IM WITH MY CLIENT!
Really? Do you think I’m blind? I was feeling dizzy and I had no idea where to get more water. Next time just ask what person needs and transfer to another personal if you can’t help now. At least you can ask what’s happened
Lots of equipment good atmosphere only little down side was parking as the car park was busy
