Lots of machines can be busy

Just been able to work out with the right equipment and environment.

New to JD Gyms. I moved from PureGym after they changed my price. The only thing I’d recommend is being able to see on the app how many people are in there. It’s very overwhelming when it’s busy

Brilliant equipment and brilliant staff

I love JD gyms, they have a massive array of equipment and classes and it’s also a friendly comfortable environment, as a slightly overweight 46 year old woman I gives me the confidence to walk in on my own

My experience has been pretty good so far , easy to sign up , app works good to gain entry into gym, large selection of exercise machines and free weights , only thing I think that would improve my experience ,to implement a self cleaning of any equipment after your use for the next person , this is a practice I've seen at other gyms and works very well.

Gym facilities are splendid. The only gripe is that the water pressure in the men's showers is very sad.

I love the scale of Leeds South. Plenty of equipment to use even at peak times.

I joined the gym and then set off, initially my QR generator to get in wouldn't work so I pressed the button and was let in by a staff member who called me over to the desk and helped solve my problem, after that I was away onto the equipment. Everything was clean and tidy but as a gym newbie I would appreciate some more induction sessions being added. There's 2 a week with chance to grab a PT for help when they're free. Some equipment I still don't know how to use so I'm having to go home and Google the brand name and machine name to find out how to use it.

No personel. Was waiting for 15 min, after staff member came out I wanted to ask him a question, he replied "some one will come out and help", so I waited for another 5 min and walked away. Have been there five times still didn't get anyone to assist me, my questions are remained unanswered.

Horrible gym. I only came here because I went to the Birmingham one and that was impressive. This one looks like it’s never cleaned. The sauna room smells like Ass and I’ve been to multiple gyms and never had that before. Horrible all around. For a jd gym very disappointing

I have recently joined and with the gym being recently built, there were a few equipment out of order. To add to that, the general hygiene in the place was awful especially in the changing rooms. The toilets were always dirty and the showers and sauna area had a foul odour (BO). Mopping and using fragrance can help

Great well set up gym.
Clean and help at hand if you need to ask.

A lovely gym overall nice everything I need, however,
I know it’s unmanned but there’s no one at all to help . Employing a person who can help vulnerable people use a machine would be a huge help.

First time that I have joined a gym and at my age was confident enough to go in and do a session on my own and use the sauna

Plenty of people using the gym and nearly all guys (that I could see) however plenty of equipment to go around

After moving house I found my local jdgym as I used the North one and love it the South one is very small with no ladies gym which was disappointing as its good to use if the main gym is busy also the price has considerably gone up from my usual in the past years but I feel comfortable in the gym and it's compact with machines easy to find with sauna and showers staff were all friendly with a smile will always stay with this gym for my fitness im 60 soon and will keep going to keep fit never let age stop you

Really nice gym, the kit is always clean and nicely presented.
Would be nice if staff engaged more with members, maybe seeing more on the gym floor chatting to people, could be the time I'm coming but don't seem to see many on the gym floor engaging with members. Also around the leg section, would be nice to have some more plates around there. Doesn't seem to be many given there a lot of plate loaded machines in that area. Eats up a lot of session time trying to find plates that are not being used. Other than that, a good gym, nicely priced and cleanliness is great.
