I gave it 5 stars, the staff are really helpful and the gym is looking very nice and feel very comfortable.

Very good gym! All machines that I need, don’t face any disadvantages at all!

The equipment is in good condition. It is overcrowded at all hours, including off-peak times, so you can never comfortably workout with waiting for/sharing equipment.

Signed up on the £10 promotion with no joining fee, gym is well set out and has good range of equipment.

Used to be okay but they have now removed disinfectant and roll from the gym.
They have open matts for people to use and sweat on yet no way for people to clean properly before someone else?
A gym towel does not kill bacteria. Serious issues can be spread this way and for a gym to not take cleaning seriously due to saving costs or laziness is disgusting.

So many people...no space and hard to make friends. The equipments are very new to me as a beginner to GYM.I don't know how can I use them effectively.
I wanna recommend to have a group of beginners and then have a proper training.

Quite busy, some machines missing like pectoral fly’s & calf raises would have been nice. The weights haven’t been updated much at JD, the one in Nottingham has Eleiko new weights meanwhile the one in Manchester doesnt
Friendly and easy to use. Good lay out and equipment. Decent selection and schedule of classes.
It's fine, but the WiFi is absolutely awful and I wouldn't even call it functioning. I just accept I'm off the grid when I'm there. The Manchester city centre gym is below basement level so there is no reception. Yet you need data to pull up the QR code to scan through the gates and the QR code refreshes every 15 seconds. Who came up with this??
5 stars for Julius and the step class but it’s becoming impossible to get a step, even arriving 30 mins before the class starts isn’t enough most weeks. Such a shame as there’s space in the studio for more steps and then more people can take part - please fix! X

Love the step class with Julius (the best) but there needs to be more steppers!!
Love the stepper-ton classes they hold at JD Gym Manchester, but there are definitely not enough steppers! You’d think for such a successful class with a massive audience online too, they would invest in more steppers (we have to be there 30 minutes before class starts just to manage to grab one)
Classes are the best, we should have more classes. The gym normal, like OTHERS... more equipment for guys I can say

Needs at least another 2 sets of cables, more than 1 leg press and a chest fly machine
Wifi not great.
Nor is signal. So trying to load the app that you need, for the QR code that you need, to gain entry and also to exit - is very tiresome.
Otherwise gym is always well kept, clean and tidy. And the staff are friendly and helpful.
