JD Gyms - Middleton Reviews 

I have not been a regular gym user in the past, but the personal trainer who did my Induction gave me a training programme suitable for my needs, and clearly showed me how to use each of the machines.
I should also add that the other staff I encountered were without exception very friendly and welcoming.

It’s a nice clean place, all the training equipment is in really good condition and everything you want to train there’s a variety of equipment available for it

Your WiFi is rubbish, it hardly works and I can't play my workout videos for my training schedule.
You need atleast 2 machines of each such as leg raise and leg press as there is usually people waiting as you only have one.
The water in some of shower cubicles are too hot.

Hi it’s going great I think there’s some issues with the classes, I waited for kev to do a class however another class was going on at the same time so only me and another person turned up. Would be a good idea to do 3 classes all consecutive in the mornings without an overlap on the timetable.

friendly Reception and willing to help out where necessary, well maintained gym equipments, spacious room for all sections of the gym, and clean washing rooms.

First time at Gym
Turned up expecting Pilates but had been changed to Yoga but timetable not updated
So went along with it - yoga instructor very good @ lovely lady
However - could not hear her due to loud pumping music coming from Gym - drowning out her voice & yoga music
Not a relaxing class that a yoga class should be - the studio was also very cold - I kept my sweatshirt on throughout the class
Other members said they’ve complained about this before
Not a good first impression at all - will give it another try but feel like cancelling membership really

The fact that when i came to join i had a few questions and concerns but the manager/PT (Joshua ) went above and beyond for me. He took nearly 2 hours out of his day just to make me feel better and talk to me. He is a credit to the team.

It’s a great venue for training and everything you need is there for beginner to advances workouts.

Simple application and Josh was a big help .. took on on a tour and really sold it

Great gym. Clean , tidy, equipment in great working order, easy access

Big space and conducive atmosphere

Plenty of equipment only negative staff standing at front desk shouting and laughing amongst themselves very distracting for gym users

I had not been to the gym for many years, I was so nervous I didn't know how to use the equipment, the Manager Sam at Midfleton Manchester Gym was amazing she spent some time with me and I know know what I'm doing and feel so much more confident, also love the environment nice lighting and lots of equipment, no waiting.😊

No water stations on the gym floor that i could see

The gym itself is so well equipped, one of the best gyms I've been too.

Recently joined based on recommendation from my wife. I was at pure gym and have been there for a number years. But there is no comparison. I am really enjoying it and highly recommend.

Gyms great , but to dark and only one leg extension machine, just one other than that it’s a good gym

The personal trainer Brandon he was very friendly and he explained and showed me everything I needed to do.

Spacious, clean and well equipped

The gym is clean, staff is nice and helpful. I am only not quite sure why the pass cannot be open few times a day, but that’s they only thing that can be improved.
