Really hot showers burns skin needs to be calibrated

Too much quantity of people rather than quality of service for customers.
Overly busy worse than a nightclub. Equipment left everywhere and you can’t get on most things. No dumbbells match they’re left half way across the gym. It’s like speed

Decent gym. Only been twice so far but its impressive. The machines are a bit...well used but there are plenty of the popular ones so you don't have to wait for one to be free.
The studio is lovely 😍 and the 'burn' studio space is spot on! The dim lighting is a welcome change of mood.
Signed up as trial but it's lookin like a keeper 😊

The stuff was super nice and really helped me to get settled in my new gym!

Good equipment but you’ll never get to use any of it. There must have been at least 500 people in a space meant for 100.
No warning on the app about number of people there right now.
No warnings when signing up about capacity at the location chosen. Nothing.
I walked in and within 30 seconds it was abundantly clear the only exercise I’d get to do was walking back home. Very frustrated with the whole experience.

There’s mould above the cold & second shower.
Too many unintelligent members pour water on to the “electric” component in the sauna.
Many members for some strange reason eat oranges etc In the sauna a leave their mess / empty water bottles behind.
The last time I used the sauna it was flooded, I was in the changing rooms for a lengthy time and not one member of staff come in to do any checks.

The gym is too small for the amount of people visiting, leading to a very cramped feeling.
Not enough machines, especially those in popular demand such as the pec fly machine.
The app could show the number of users in the gym currently which would be SO MUCH helpful.

I recently joined the gym and I felt some of the machine are not that maintained parts are moving that should be fixed as soon as possible that can be injurious to someone, otherwise everything is good

Always absolutely packed, takes ages to get on a machine and dirty old equipment. Expensive for what it is.

I liked the structure of the place, it was clean and nice.
I didn’t like that there was no one to do a gym induction and show me around. Luckily I have experience in a gym which is why it was fine. But it would be good to have someone show you around or even a YouTube video just so you’re not exploring it on your own. Still never been to the studio and spin spaces.
There could also be more mirrors in the place. Specially near the mats next to the stairs.
But overall a good gym, equipment is also of good quality so far.

Been to three classes with three different instructors, and not a single one asked if there were any new comers or if anyone had injuries - I've never been to a class before where this hasn't been asked. Surely this is negligence?
Classes also get cancelled often

I'm so happy to become JD gyms member. Many classes of your choice and you have everything you need. I'm really happy 😊

I only joined last week and that was easy and the deputy manager, Mert, was very helpful.
There’s a lot of equipment and it’s largely in good order but just a bit of maintenance on some of the equipment could convert this from a good gym to a great gym eg. Leg press and calf raise need looking at as the resistance is as much down to friction as the weights loaded.
Also, no sanitiser or cleaning towels anywhere.
Final request would be to get some signs up asking for members to restack weights. Get some accountability from them in helping make this a great club

The toilets that are usually available between 12am to 5am are out of order because someone broke off the toilet's flush handle. So now no one can go to the toilet if they need to, which can negatively impact the workout, as I can only go to the gym between 1am to 3am.
I tried to get the attention of staff, but when I knocked onto the office door, there was no answer. However as I was leaving the gym, the magnetic lock was engaged, but as I approached the door, I saw the magnetic lock unlock, meaning that someone from inside the office saw me on my way out and unlocked it for me, so why didn't they come out when I wanted to ask them if I could use the upstairs toilets, as this situation negatively impacted my workout and ultimately had to cut it shorter than usual.
The other night when I arrived there was an eardrum piercing alarm blaring inside the gym's main area. It was so loud that it could still be heard when I had earphones in and my music was on full blast. It was incredibly distracting and the alarm was still blaring the whole time that I was in the gym. Again, staff should usually be onsite, however, I don't understand why the alarm was going off for longer than an hour and a half. The sad thing is, I'm paying for this membership and the standards are far below what I'd expect, even though I'm going out of the peak hours, it's the only time that I can go at the moment.
Rating the gym 3/5 is very generous, even considering the negatives that I've experienced here, as the equipment is good enough to train what you need to, although even then, the numbers on the cable machines are rubbed off, the knobs for adjusting certain pieces of equipment have been taken off (most likely by certain members of the gym) and haven't been replaced.
I used to go to this gym 3-4 years ago and only recently joined again, and the standards have slipped heavily. The staff has had a turn over, but this shouldn't really be the excuse for the standards of management or maintenance of the gym dropping this low.
Regarding the toilets again, before they became out of order, the mess in the toilets (that was a problem, multiple nights in a row) was not being maintained or cleaned.

Been coming here from day 1 and can honestly say it's not as clean as when it was 1st opened I pay just the same as every other member but find myself pick up bottles and clearing the excessive water from inside and out the sauna and showers I've reported the mess that's on the floor under the sauna bench months ago it's still there decaying orange peel and paper.bottle tops not to mention the dirt and hair that's behind the sports mats upstairs I've seen PT walk though the water on the floor in the changing room not giving a dame about it or just waiting for the cleaner to arrive so they can do it.
I know gym members should dry themselves before they leave the showers and wash before they go into the sauna but as you know some people are just nasty my concern is that hygiene of the gym showers and sauna have hit an all time low

Classes are good, but the gym is way too busy all the time. Totally unusable as you can't get on the equipment
