Easy sign in, QR code generator makes it quick and simple. Free parking!
Staff are visible and happy to help if you’re new or need anything.
There’s loads of equipment and it generally wasn’t over-filled for a Monday.

If you come back a second time in the same day, please press the green buzzer button near the gates and someone will let you in. The app does only grant entry once per day, but you're welcome to come back as many times as you like, we'll just need to let you in. 👍
If that’s something you do regularly, please speak to the Manager next time you visit, and they can help or drop your gym an email if you can’t see a Manager to speak to 👍

No employees at front desk too busy taking on own personal clients showers are cold and changing rooms locked up at night way too busy to get a good gym session dirty changing rooms bin not clean toilets unsanitary

Great atmosphere

I had asked a member of the team to help me with the machinery equipment and I was being laughed at due to not knowing how to handle the machine correctly. Was very disappointed with the class on Friday morning as this was the reason me joining JD gyms to do the classes it wasn’t intense and needed better rhythm

It is a good gym
It is a good gym, but hardly anyone by the reception during the evening. first day i joined i waited 30 minutes outside for a jd staff member to deal with my inquire. i also pressed the green buzzer outside several times, the staff member arrived and had a bad attitude.

I love the gym even if to busy…
I love the gym even if to busy sometimes reason to give 1 star is some members of staff (trainers) behaviour is so arrogant and disrespectful but 1 of them l in particular he even gets in peoples way when working out not tolerable using phone when walking + changing room and toilets are 70% of the time dirty.

First up,I'm a wheelchair user.
First up,I'm a wheelchair user.
I arrived at 10pm. The outer front doors are opened with a qr code. That's fine but the door isn't automatic so I had to have someone hold the door open. Then, inside the vestibule, there are automatic doors opened with a qr code. However, for some reason the disabled access door can only be opened with a code.
There are plenty of machines but it's too cramped and I really struggled with getting around them because it's jammed too tightly together.
Then the disabled shower room is great. However there is no hot water in there. There's a shower chair but then no dry chair to get changed on. And no hooks for clothes.
Parking's free though.

I am actually now considering leaving the gym after nearly being knocked out by shoddy equipment. The terrible barbell clamps do not grip at all and one slipped off dropping weights and springing the bar up at me. And it wasn't an isolated clamp either. They were all of the same no-gripping kind. Useless.

An injury waiting to happen
Sauna stone cold at 06:30, staff unhelpful. No instruction or advice on suitable workouts. Take a lesson from Sandwell Leisure Trust and induct all new members. Find out their goals and work with them without charging up to £50 per session for a PT.
