Gyms need frequent cleaning which does not happen.
Went to the gym on a trial basis and had a great experience. I went to Sandra's Zumba class and it was really good, high energy and she's lovely. She's one of the main reasons why I have decided to join the gym.
The gym staff are very friendly and helpful as well, especially Marcel and Adam who were happy to arrange the free trial for me. They even called me back at a later date to get some feedback.
The gym and changing rooms were very clean and there was a lot of choice for gym equipment.
Parking is also conveniently right outside of the gym and is free for 2.5 hours.
I am really finding the JD Gym at West Bromwich very unhygienic I attended the gym late afternoon and there was dirty underwear left in the girls changing rooms. Please may you get this sorted as it’s making me want to cancel my membership
cant get in contact with them they never answer the enquiries or phone calls

Big shout out to the team currently at West Brom. Cleanliness throughout the gym and changing rooms has noticeably improved over recent weeks! One very happy member! 😀
Had some one hogging 2 x dead lift bars, in 2 separate areas, was getting very aggressive, even though can only use one area at a time.
This is something that staff should be available for and should remove such people. I walked away as not there for physical punch ups.
Is otherwise a great gym.
Awful experience. AVOID THIS GYM. Despite the "free parking", I have been given 2 parking fines despite always putting in my registration into their iPads. They told me they would sort it but called me once the fine hit £100 to tell me they can't do anything. You're better off elsewhere. Bunch of scammers.
Great gym overall. In the past I was a bit disappointed that the boxing equipment is lacking but as an overall gym they're great. Good equipment, good workers and I go there basically every day and enjoy it every time. Thank you.

My QR code wasn’t working today and waited half an hour for someone to come to the help desk and help me but there was no one to be seen and got let out by a gym member. Absolutely ridiculous. Rubbish customer service and they never pick up the damn phone
I find the gym equipment is very clutters and not spaced out much from each other. You can use an equipment without being in someone else’s space. It seems as though JD gym has just crammed as much as they can in there to utilise the space but not considered any work out areas. Compared to pure gym, pure gym is better on equipment and space. Won’t be coming back.

Absolutely sick and tired of not being able to get inside the gym and work out. I’m not sure why the turnstiles became qr code only. Now that I can’t enter my pin I’m often left waiting for a member of staff to let me in because my qr code won’t scan. I’m beyond sick at this point.
When I’ve arrived after 10pm when all the personal trainers have gone home, it’s ridiculous the amount of times I’ve had to go inside the turnstile with a stranger.
& also, why do you assume that I even want to bring my phone to the gym all the time? If I’m coming with a gym partner, I won’t need music so now you’re unnecessarily making me bring my phone out of the house. It was better when I had the option of entering my pin.
Previously when I’ve asked a PT to turn the a/c on because we’re all sweating like pigs inside he replied “I’ve already asked”. My whole workout was disgusting because the air was so humid and all of a sudden the a/c was non existent.
It’s a nice gym really other than the stupid turnstiles once I can actually get inside.

Hygiene and failities really poor, use to be really good. Not impressed by the smell on arrival to condition of weights and machinery

Lovely gym and good equipment. The only gripe I have is at present there isn’t many female staff present, therefore male members of staff are doing checks in the female changing areas and gym. It’s so annoying as it appears to be every hour and seems to be the same male member of staff. I understand checks need to be done, but can they be completed maybe every 3-4 hours and when cleaners are present they complete checks. It really makes me feel uneasy and uncomfortable, to the point I will not get changed in the open area any more and hide in the cubicles.
I have had many discussions with other females in the changing rooms who also find this annoying.
The machines are out of order and to much rush in the evening time
