I booked the Mystery Box Challenge at Jenius Social for a team building exercise and it couldn't have been a nicer experience.

Jennifer was so welcoming and friendly. The dining area and kitchen were set up so well and very spacious. We all had so much fun on our cocktail making class and cooking challenge. Chef Jackie was great at giving tips and advice.

It was lovely to end with us all enjoying the food we had made with a nice glass or two of wine.

I would recommend Jenius for team building events as well as a great way to spend time with family and friends

I took my team to Jenius Social for a team experience after our all day meeting/offsite. We opted to do the mystery box competitive cook off made up of three teams and I'm so glad we did. We all got really into it and the time flew by. We got to eat what we'd cooked and had some drinks together. Jen and her team are so incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable and it was the real highlight of our company offsite. Great value for money given that it's dinner, drinks and an experience all rolled into one.

Our work organised a thai masterclass cookery workshop, where we made our own cocktail (non-alcoholic options included), a 'summer roll' starter, and then thai green curry (veggy/vegan options). It was fun, good tips throughout, and we all got a little squiffy ;) Would recommend as a work or personal event.

What a fantastic afternoon at Jenius Social! I organised the Mystery Box Challenge as a team building event for our company as we are working remotely for the most part and wanted to do something that would bring us all together. Before the event, some team members were concerned that they had very little cooking experience and weren't sure how much they would enjoy it, but Jennifer and her wonderful team welcomed us so warmly and provided sufficient guidance along the way that everyone had a brilliant time and told me that it was one of the best team building events we have done. Thank you so much!

We organised a team-building event at Jenius Social and did the “Ready Steady Cook” Mystery Box Challenge. For a team that has gone through considerable turnover, and with colleagues travelling from Edinburgh to join us, I asked Jennifer to put us into random cooking teams …. and we built a team!
It was incredibly well organised, great fun and brought out a friendly competitive spirit in all of us. With lots of people milling around in the kitchen, the emphasis was on safety and was so well organised by Jennifer and her team, that everything ran smoothly, with the resulting food being thoroughly enjoyed by the teams whilst Jennifer and her team decided the winners.
I would highly recommend this, and Jenius Social, to any teams looking for a team building experience.

Great staff, great organisation, fun idea.

I had a private celebration with Jenius Social. That went marvellously - we cooked Mexican and had a lot of laughs with Marry Anne, who was our chef. Both the chef and the host created a relaxed friendly atmosphere for me and my guests, we all enjoyed very much. The team took into consideration dietary nuances and the fact that some of the guests were late for the party. Everyone finally participated in cooking and had enough drinks and food. Thanks a lot Jennifer!

My project team and I did a Japanese cookery class and we had an amazing night. Jennifer and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We made some great food and enjoyed our private dining experience that followed. Would highly recommend for a fun group activity.

I organised a Hen Party at Jenius Social. Jen was a WONDERFUL host.
In advance of the day she was really responsive, helpful and super flexible in what we wanted to do.
On the day itself, she kept us all laughing and our glasses topped up whilst we did a really fun Mexican cooking class.
Good level of straight forward recipes to keep 16 Hen’s focused but hard enough to keep it interesting. Then you get to enjoy it all together afterwards around a big table.
We all loved it!

Very warm and friendly welcome when we arrived and drinks offered. The day felt really well thought out and planned, very smoothly organised and for someone who doesn't feel at home or great in the kitchen, I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed the day and the tasks set, it was easy to get into it without feeling daunted, especially as I wasn't sure quite what to expect prior to it.

That was a very special night with my team. I laugh like I haven't laughed in a while.. What a crazy night full of fun. The organisation was perfect, the facility is great and the staff was fantastic. I would recommend this space and experience to any company for team building activity. Oh well I will recommend this to anyone really. It is super fun.

Our Christmas cooking evening was great fun! Jennifer was a pleasure to deal with and was very accommodating, especially with our last minute changes. The evening was a great success. We'd recommend!

We had an amazing afternoon with Jen and her team. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, the food was plentiful and delicious. So nice to have a private space to enjoy with the team and everything was done with a huge smile. Thanks again for hosting us.

What a fantastic experience. The skills that I learnt and the tuition was absolutely brilliant and cooking alongside my friends with a margarita that we’d made was truly an experience. Completely loved it and will be booking again

Jennifer, the Founder of this successful business and her team were pleasant, attentive and professional.
Every member of our group thoroughly enjoyed their fantastic experience getting creative in this cookery-class and the ingredients provided were fresh, generous and plenty!
The organisation and layout of the kitchen was brilliantly managed, we were all able to comfortably move around to prepare our cuisine.
It certainly brought out our competitive sides and the end results of seeing all the finished plates were of genuine passion and rewarding.

Jennifer is warm, welcoming and has excellent social skills. She made our whole team, from R&D chefs to Senior Sales Controller, feel completely at home! Every member in my team actually made a personal comment of how lovely she was during our event. The venue itself is bright, airy, professional and has a fully equipped kitchen. Jennifer helped organise the table layout, could help with deliveries the day before and we also had some lovely refreshments. The venue is perfect for a whole host of activities/ events, though we used it to do a big presentation and sample new food innovation. I have already recommended this venue far and wide across our company and would book again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you Jennifer!!! Emma

Fantastic team events for remote and hybrid working!

We've done two online sessions for our staff with Jenius Social. Both of them were brilliantly fun and so well organised. I cannot recommend Jen and her team highly enough, they are such experts at running events and they're passionate about food so everything was delicious too.

Jenius Social was an extremely well organised staff event that served to teach new skills and share expertise while having fun. Our teams learnt how to make (and eat) healthy and nutritious cuisine from around the world, and therefore were able to take those skills away for themselves and also to teach others. The Jenius Team were very welcoming and could not do more for us to ensure that the event was a successful day. Thank you!
