My first foray into an online class last night and it didn’t disappoint. Ursula is so enthusiastic and is always checking that you’re doing ok. The menu was perfect and the chocolate almond torte is not going to last very long! Thank you so much Ursula and Emma for a lovely Saturday evening. X
I’ve been of three excellent Italian Zoom cookery courses now led by the inspiring Cookery Tutor and celebrated cook book author Ursula Ferrigno.
Enjoyed all three sessions learning so much from the engaging and encouraging Ursula. She checks in on how your doing and encourages questions to help learning whether you are a kitchen novice or a competent cook looking to broaden an authentic Italian repertoire.
You receive a shopping list in advance and a detailed outline of each recipe.
It’s a packed full two hours call that lifts your spirits during these difficult times.
Check out Ursula’s cook books, they are equally superb .
Bravo to Ursula and the Jericho Cookery School, your ‘studenti’ love these Italian classes!
I've done three online classes in lockdown with Jericho Kitchen and have enjoyed them all. I've come away with lots of great new recipes and nifty tips and tricks. It has been lovely to be able to 'do' a cookery class in lockdown. Both Ursula (Italian cookery) and Louise (cheese making) are passionate (and patient) teachers.

As one of the lockdown-separated family who’ve just reviewed Ursula Ferringo’s online course I’ll add my wholehearted recommendation. I was the granny in the group, on my own in my kitchen on Zoom. Ursula was brilliant, making sure I’d kept up, reminding me to take my cake out of the oven, and always encouraging. Her enthusiasm kept us going and her wide experience was obvious. We only found out afterwards just how many cookery books she’s written. Very well organised by Jericho Kitchen. Thank you.
Having been so long without seeing my famil, I organised a private class for us with Ursula. We were spread over 4 different homes, with different ranges of cooking abilities and preparing food for between 1-5 people in each house. Despite the complications this could have caused Ursula was relaxed, patient and made us feel like we were all just making a meal together. She chose the menu carefully so the ingredients were easy enough to get hold of at this time of year and at short notice. The recipes were actually beautifully simple.dishes, making the most of the natural flavours, and will become staple dishes for us for years to come, no doubt. It was a lovely way for the family to be together, as we carried on over zoom to eat our meal. Would definitely do it again.
Just a truly wonderful informative experience. Came away really understanding the simplicity and joy of fermentation

I decided to take an online class on Fermentation since the foraging was cancelled due to Covid. What a smart decision! Justine is so knowledgeable and the atmosphere was great! I have already booked myself for the next one on Kefir and Kombucha! Thoroughly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful. This was my first class with The Jericho Kitchen Cookery School and it won't be my class. The atmosphere was relaxed but energised...a tricky thing to get right on Zoom. I learnt so much and the teacher, Justine, was a wealth of information...she felt like a friend I'd known for years. I can't wait to share a class with these guys when we're all able to be in the same room together but in the meantime I've got my next on-line classes already booked. Super value for money and I highly recommend exploring the fabulous classes The Jericho Kitchen Cookery School has on offer.

This is the second course I have booked as I enjoyed the first one so much. So I attended the 2 hour online Fermentation class. I was so looking forward to it and it did not disappoint. Justine was absolutely brilliant, l loved it and highly recommend. Can't wait to get tasting!
A great afternoon foraging and cooking over fire. Informative, fun and really tasty food and good company to boot! Great to learn what common plants we can find to use as flavourings and also how to manage a fire effectively.

I've done a few classes with jericho. The instructors are all first rate. The classes have a nicely interactive structure, part demo, part hands on. Always lots of delicious food to take home. Some things have really stuck with me : Spanish seasoning, prep, probably the pastry course has lived with me longest. I've been flying since them. Strongly recommended, all levels are well supported by the tutors.

We attended the ‘edible Christmas gifts with Ursula’ last week and had such a lovely evening. Great atmosphere, delicious food and expert guidance from Ursula! Emma was also incredibly accommodating and the food we got to take home with us was absolutely delicious. Thank you!

I need a 6 star option! What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
The food was delicious and will be fun (and possible) to replicate. Carolina’s famous tips may be life changing!!! Out with the garlic presser but in with the potato ricer!
Thank you Carolina and thank you Emma for offering this wonderful possibility in a safe and really fun way.
Only question is, which course next?!

Emma and her Team at The Jericho Kitchen School have now moved to the Nuneham Estate near Oxford. What a fabulous place. Today Carolina taught us how to make six tapas dishes and it was difficult to pick a favourite, they were all so good. Easy to copy at home, with everyday ingredients. Emma always finds expert tutors, and she and her team make the whole experience fun at every level. Highly recommended.
