Wouldn't recommend or use again
Booked Manchester Jet Parks 3 for 11 nights in August and wouldn't recommend or book again. Massively packed car parks with hardly any space free - when there is a space they are tiny and all the cars/vans are jam packed in together. No one around to ask for any help or guidance. Took over half an hour for a bus to come once we'd arrived back. No fun waiting with kids after a long flight (buses are advertised as coming every 10-15 minutes...) No lights in any of the car parks so impossible to navigate back to your car in the dark. Very rough gravel on the ground making it not easy to wheel your luggage around to a bus stop. Only plus is that one of our drivers was nice.
Far too busy- Jetparks3 Manchester
Arrive a very long time before an August flight as it’s really hard to find a space. When you get there no staff are present to help or guide. They just take the money (we pre-booked) and leave you to sort yourself. Lots of the car park is gravel so it’s really hard to drag a suitcase- we had to help an elderly couple. Bus drivers are friendly. However, bus on return was absolutely jam-packed. We wouldn’t use again.
After booking this carpark I arrived…
After booking this carpark I arrived there to find no spaces cars were parked stupidly I couldn't turn round so had to reverse trying my hardest not to hit any other cars eventually after half an hour I managed to find a space a very tight space utter nitemare from start to finish won't use jetparks anymore
Car damaged
We arrived at Manchester Jet3 in what we believed to be plenty of time, upon entry there was inadequate signage about the direction to take for spaces so we followed what we thought was the best route in (un the dark). It was a nightmare! People had parked ANYWHERE and so you couldn’t drive about the car park - meaning long and dangerous reverses with inadequate lighting. We didn’t feel we could get our car back out of this area again and after panicking and driving and reversing for 40mins we were left with NO option but to park my beautiful new ‘22 plate in a ‘non-space’ also - as we were worried about time. I wasn’t comfortable with this but our car was literally stuck. Upon inspection now home, this morning, my car is COVERED with deep scratches from cases in a variety of places on both sides. Today will be a frantic T-Cut but I suspect some will require a spray and won’t come out. I am absolutely FUMING.
The worst of it is - there were spaces as it’s much bigger than you realise (we hadn’t been before) but there IS NOBODY to direct you - NO SIGNAGE - NO CLOSED/FULL areas cordoned off to prevent dangerous and lengthy manoeuvres. It is disgraceful for the amount of money we payed and now my car is VERY damaged. I will NEVER park here again.
Another over-subscribed Manchester Airport car park
We arrived at the JetPark 3 car park at Manchester Airport and struggled to find a space. People had left their cars blocking the circulation and access routes making it difficult to even drive round to search for a space. Suspect the disabled spaces were not being used by blue badge holders. Clearly no enforcement of ‘park within a marked bay’ policy. Would avoid in the future if Manchester Airports other car parks weren’t equally over-subscribed and mismanaged 😘
I gave time before leaving this review…
I gave time before leaving this review because i wanted emotion to not be my driving force. The rating is because as follows. we arrived t the car park and struggled to find a space this was even more of a hassle because cars were parked on chevrons and blocking areas for maneuver and this resulted in long reversing when you got to the end of a row to find no spaces this happened 3 times. This in itself was not really a big issue but it was a hassle . So it took in excess of 45 minutes to get a bus! we were literally driven straight past twice and it was raining so we were huddled in a shelter my wife even tried standing in front of the bus and had to jump out of the way as he thundered past! a woman was literally in tears as she had been there so long her flight was getting imminent now I can't say if she was running late anyway but when we spoke to her she had already been waiting 40 mins and she decided to walk which was a rub because when we eventually got a bus (2 came at same time!) we passed her on the road near the pub. so we had plenty of time but the drivers attitude was awfull (same driver both times) . we made our flight with plenty of time good job we had not been delayed! So on our holiday we chilled and thought oh well things happen. When we got back we got on the bus and i couldn't believe it he drove off before we had time to put our cases on the rack I nearly fell onto my wife who made a loud comment that was ignored. We had to try and hold cases and hold onto the bus as couldnt sit and hold cases the guy opposite was holding onto 4 bless him all with wheels as still getting onto bus too ! all in all a terrible experience and i shall have to use a different provider next time never had such issues before! The drivers were really giving the i cant care less attitude.
Waiting at the stop 104 13.08.2023 at…
Waiting at the stop 104 13.08.2023 at 4.45 pm for 30 min for a bus, bus jest went pass me without stoping.
Helpful member of staff
We were having difficulty locking our car. The passing bus driver ( Julie) stopped, helped us and then wheeled my suitcase as I had an injured arm.
She was most helpful and we appreciate it.
Car Damage Jetparks 1
Arrived jetparks 1 around 8pm and had to wait ages for a bus transfer, not that that was an issue as such, but then returned 7 days later to find significant damage caused to my windscreen. Definitely not secure parking, avoid! There is no contact number but I’ve filled out a general enquiries form which I understand will not receive a response from for 5 days. They state that they have no liability for loss or damage to your vehicle yet advertise as secure parking which is irresponsible. Avoid this car park
Charge extra for no reason
I'm not happy with the car park staff and the ignorance. My flight was delayed but I had the car park booked until 3 am plus late cover Unfortunately at 2.13am I was asked to pay £15 extra. when I contacted the staff I was told I have to pay and after be in touch with the provider. So disappointed
Will not use car park again
Will not use car park again. Customer service is extremely poor. Had issues with car park booking, as 3rd party had not sent the relevant details. I pleaded with attendant to come and check my ticket to confirm booking. I had been at the car park for over an hour trying to resolve issue. Stated I would pay whatever, if it couldn't be resolved as I needed to park car (15days). They refused to come out and check my booking. Called 3rd party and they spoke to attendant via intercom, it took another 20mins. Before someone finally came to check booking and I was then allowed into car park. One of the car park driver, was a really a star, as he tried to get me to the airport as quickly as he could but by this time, over 2 hours had passed and boarding gate was now closed.
On return back from my holiday, encounter with driver not very positive, just not a friendly driver at all. Would not return to car park.
Stansted Jetparks
Do not use them. We will never use them again. Several buses drove past us while we were trying to make our way to the terminal. You could only catch a bus allegedly at the Stansted site from one bus stop 24. I dread to think what it will be like when arrive back in the early hours. NEVER AGAIN.
Don't use them
Don't use them , if you don't want to miss your flight...we just got within 5min from closing the gate to our flight...there is no 15-20 min transfer is over 50min..they charge almost the same as short stay at Stansted ..pay the extra £20-£30 difference and save yourself a headache..no holiday should start running to your gate because the bus transfer is appalling..if you really really really need to use them make sure you arrive within good time, otherwise you are in for a nasty surprise
Extremely shoddy service
Extremely shoddy service. From parking the car took an hour and a half to get to the terminal. Busses were not Every 15 mins, more like 30mins, and when eventually arrived they were full. We made our flight by the skin of our teeth. Jetparks need to evaluate their service and run more busses.
Absolutely Shambolic JET PARKS (Stansted)
Returned to Stansted and we were met with a 100 plus metre queue for the buses serving Jet parks and Long stay. Utter shambles as it took an hour to get on a bus. The buses were so over crowded that when you got to your stop you couldn't get to your cases. Tannoy system on bus was rubbish and you couldn't make out what was being said. Disorganised shambles i will not go through again.
DISGUSTING SERVICE…
Returned to my car early hours of 14th June at Stansted, to a completely flat battery. Freezing cold. Tried calling jetparks number but only an automated service and despite trying every option could not get to speak to a person! Approached the bus driver of the next bus I saw and he simply shrugged and said ‘not my problem, nothing to do with me.’ And then left me at 2am in a dark deserted car park!
SHALL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!
Appalling - do not have the shuttles they advertise
This company is not serving Stansted well. Holiday Extras - your reputation will be tarnished using this company.
We arrived at the car park approx 3 hours prior to our flight. The bus stop was jam packed with a long queue. 2 buses ‘dropping off only’ then one to pick up which was already 3/4 full. People crushed on, they must be breaching safety legislation. We then waited another 20 minutes before another bus came, again almost full and the growing crowd at the bus stop surged forward. We then waited 40 MINUTES! the next bus we managed to get on, and it took approximately 15 minutes to get to the airport - not the main entrance but a underground entrance where the escalators were closed off and just 2 lifts. Finally getting to bag drop off, that took not long at all. But by the time we got to security we had 20 minutes before the gate closed on our flight. Thankfully there were some kind peopleand we jumped the queue, went through security with 4 minutes to spare and my husband ran ahead to the gate, where luckily someone was changing a baby’s nappy. Myself and my 2 daughters ran to the gate, and we managed to not miss our flights. But the stress was horrific, and we missed our Escape lounge booking completely. I intend to take this as far as I can, this is absolutely disgraceful - everyone works so hard for their holiday, and to be so close to having it wrecked…
I’m sure some people will have missed their flights completely.
AVOID very rude bus drivers
I have been using Jetparks for many years at Manchester Airport and the service has been ok until Saturday 1st July . Was collected by Bus to collect car at Jetparks 3 and entered the Bus by the middle door like many others which was open . Bus driver went into a rage saying to enter the bus by the front door only , he was swearing and shouting like a mad man. Would not give his full name only Ray so be aware of very rude bus drivers with Jetparks
NO apologies, NO NOTHING, DISCUSTING!!!
Firstly when entering the carpark the barrier didn't raise despite pre-paying, I pressed the call button and after several failed attempts the somewhat disinterested attendant generated a ticket for entry on our return. On our return, again, the barrier didn't raise, and this time we were welcomed home with a request for £170-odd!!! We did NOT pay this extortionate fee, instead again we had to use the call button where we were simply asked for our registration, then the barrier was raised, NO further conversation, NO apologies, NO NOTHING, DISCUSTING!!!
On the bus we didn’t really have any issues on the way out to be fair, although on the way back we had an absolutely massive que to negotiate leading to, in my opinion, a dangerously overloaded bus with cases literally falling off the racks! To add to this the driver was, quite frankly, just rude! He insisted from the get go that no one was to ring the call bell on the bus, but half way round the park a couple informed the driver that they thought they’d missed they’re stop, to which the driver responded “why didn’t you ring the bell, you should have rung the bell!”, this would have been funny if it wasn’t so unprofessional.
