Manchester Jetparks 3 has no reception or staff to help. You drive onto a very dark parking lot to attempt to find a parking space which is difficult because its rammed. It is so badly lit you w... See more

Not fit for purpose
Certainly didn’t realise we would be left hunting for a parking spot whilst under pressure to catch a flight, driving on what amounted to a car park covered in rubble. Almost wrote our suitcases off dragging them across the the bus stop. Can’t fault the courtesy bus service but the car park was atrocious. Only scoring it 1 because of the bus! Will never use again and definitely won’t recommend to anyone.
elvis the bus driver was very helpful
no problems booking in getting there i just followed instructions again no problems either way 5 stars Brilliant
Ringway parking. Allow for a long wait before a bus may arrive!
I can't complain about the service from Ringway to the airport, but on my return, myself and other passengers were waiting over 45 minutes for a return bus. Eventually the driver of the Jetparks 1 bus realised how many times he'd driven passed us, showed some initiative and rescheduled his bus to take us to Ringway.
On route to Ringway, I didn't see one Ringway bus on its way to the airport, and there were no busses going round the carpark either. Many thanks to Jason the bus driver who stepped in and took myself and other waiting passengers back to Ringway.
Almost missed flight - waited 45 minutes for the bus
Almost missed our flight! Buses are supposed to be every 15 minutes, we waited 40 minutes, couldn't fit on the first bus, second bus 5 minutes later same again but I managed to flag a 3rd bus down to say we're not all going to fit on and we'd been waiting 45 minutes. Unable to contact Jetparks by telephone at 4am. Such a stressful experience having to rush through the airport and had to run to the gate as it was the final call for our flight. I would NEVER use this car park again, nor would I recommend to my worst enemy. Dreadful service.

Wrong bus
Arrived into Manchester airport on the red eye from the USA after little sleep and got on the wrong bus (JetParks Ringway not JetParks 3). When I realised I may have made a mistake and asked the driver if he was going to JetParks 3 he told me no but flagged down another employee in a van (John) and asked if he would drop me off there, which he very kindly did.
Much appreciated. A great team, very helpful. Many thanks
Parent/child drop off
Dropped my school age son at Manchester T2 at 3am.
We used the free drop off point at jetpark 1 which allows 1 hour free parking within the terms and conditions .
We caught the free shuttle bus and the female driver was absolutely welcoming and helpful.
I dropped my son with his scout group leader and subsequently returned to my car with the same bus and female driver who was still helpful and cheerful.
Probably a 45 minute turnaround time but parked safely and stress free so I could ensure my son met his group leaders safely .
I would highly recommend this 👌
Avoid jet parks 3 Manchester
Landed at Manchester Terminal 1 today at 13.30. Long wait for a bus to turn up at bus stop 1 to take us to JetParks 3, in total it took 50 minutes from getting to the bus stop to getting back to our car. When the bus did turn up the driver got off and had a cigarette, and he wasn’t very helpful at all. By the time he had arrived the queue for the bus was that big that not all passengers could get in the bus and had to wait for the next one. During our wait a Drop and Go bus came to the next stop 3 times to collect passengers.
Avoid jetparks
Avoid jetparks
Long wait for bus
Unhelpful driver on arrival on 22nd june (said "drop.off only" = tea break ?)
One bus stop on return/arrival for all car parks causing long delays
Total lack of organisation from Manchester airport
Absolute effing shambles.
Absolute effing shambles.
Hands down the worst car park I have ever used.
I would rather walk in bare feet from Leeds in torrential rain at 3am then park here again.
In fact I would rather walk in bare feet from Leeds at 3am in the rain down the wrong side of the motorway - there is a better survival rate than getting on one the buses.
You will turn up, nobody will greet you. There will be nobody to direct you where to park or what to do.
The car park is just gravel and mud in some parts.
You will then wait for a bus that is supposed to turn up every 15minutes.
Don’t worry it won’t.
It will turn up after 30-45mins and then the driver will tell you it’s fully booked and you’ll have to wait for the next one.
You’ll then wait for the next one which will be another 30-45mins.
Don’t be disappointed, you’ll get the same treatment on the way back as well.
Massive car park. No buses. Long waits.
Caused a lot of arguments and altercations with others passengers as some understandably pushed on and jumped queues given the long waits.
Judging by the other reviews this is just a “normal experience” and not something jetparks have bothered to address.
So spend the extra money and honestly avoid at all costs.
Absolute disgrace
Firstly 15 minute transfer claim. Not a claim they honour. Even at 4am, this was closer to an hour. Be very careful and allow plenty of extra time for transferring from the car park to the airport. That's the good bit too...
Coming home is an absolute disgrace. There are so many bus stops at each and every terminal. Booking confirmation simply says "Jet parks". They have jet parks 1, 2, 3 at least... so if your confirmation doesn't say how are you supposed to know?? So ask the driver and TWICE the driver said yes, get on this bus. And TWICE we were taken to the wrong car park. Each time the driver offered to take us back to the terminal as if that was supposed to be good enough.
It took almost 2.5 hours to get from the terminal to the second wrong car park before we abandoned the bus. Our family then had to carry 4 cases and bags a mile to the correct car park or spend another huge amount of time getting back to where we started. This after travelling 12 hours to get back to the UK. Absolutely shocking arrangement with drivers not having a clue or caring, just filling buses.
DO NOT USE OR AT LEAST ARRANGE A TAXI BETWEEN CAR PARK AND TERMINAL. I will never use this arrangement again. A disgrace to Manchester airport.
No excuse to be rude at 3 am
No excuse to be rude at 3 am. Used Jet Parks 3 regularly but never again.
Staff very helpful, but the car park is chaotic
The staff were very helpful. I could hear them whilst on the bus radioing each other to try and help a passenger who had gone to the wrong terminal.
However, the car park is chaotic . We drove round and round looking for a space, and were not the only ones. Several others stopped and asked if we had seen any spaces. Cars were squashed into a number of unmarked spaces, and I was left wondering whether the site was overbooked.
There were also no instructions where to board the bus. We could see buses at a distance on the site, but not where to catch them. Eventually someone pointed out a bus shelter in the distance.
Use a different service!!
List of issues to note;
1. I spent 1hr15mins waiting outside in the rain for a “15 minute” service
2. 3 buses went past me at the bus stop without stopping - no explanation
3. 18 of us eventually abandoned said bus stop and ran across a car park to a different bus stop in hopes of being allowed onto next bus
4. Next bus marked as “drop off only” arrived to which we asked when the next pick up would be as we’d already waited over an hour - driver said he didn’t know.
5. Driver said he was indeed drop off only but had been instructed to collect passengers from last bus stop only (where 18 of us had just abandoned to find other bus stops!)
5. After another waiting passenger intervened and pointed out I had been waiting over an hour and my gate was closing in 30 minutes i was reluctantly let onto this bus.
6. I had to very last minute book a fast track security ticket.
7. I had to ask other queuing passengers in front of me at both baggage drop off and security if they minded me going in front as my gate only had 15 minutes left open at this point.
8. I had to run the length of terminal 1 to make it in time for my flight boarding.
9. I only just made my flight as the last passenger to board.
All this after arriving 2hrs30mins prior to my flight.
The most stressful airport experience I have ever encountered!
Poor service
Expensive at £14 per day for long stay. Bus stop sign says X bus stop for return.
Bus took 25 minutes to arrive not 15 as promised. Options for Long stay was LONG STAY or JETPARKS. When we arrived home signage says LONGSTAY and JETPARKS this way. A bus with LONGSTAY arrived and half of waiting passengers got on. JETPARK passengers waited thinking this was the wrong bus.
After 35 minutes another LONGSTAY bus arrived asked the driver and ha says this is for both. He couldn’t understand why everyone didn’t get on the first bus. Then he starts quoting numbers for bus stops. I asked him for bus stop X and he talks to me as though I’m stupid because it’s 25
It was 4am and he says numbers of the alphabet correspond to the letter. Sorry but if that was so then X is 24. Every time I used Jetparks before and waited for 40 minutes to get a bus from terminal to car.
Bus didn’t turn up for 45mins
Bus didn’t turn up for 45mins by the time we finally arrived at the airport it was an hour and a half later. To make matters worse two busses turned up at once.
Should’ve been here two hours before take off but ended up just making it
Do yourself a favour and pay extra and go somewhere else.
Very helpful service
So pleased for the help we were given yesterday evening when we returned from holiday at Manchester airport & found our car battery was flat. The Jet Parks 3 bus driver immediately arranged for someone with a jump pack to help us & we were on our way in half an hour. Brilliant customer service!
Absolutely horrendous
Absolutely horrendous. They claim buses come every 15 mins more like every 45 mins then they are packed and take forever. Trust me pay that extra tenor and be closer to the airport. This will add on at least another hour both ways
Jetparks appear to have gone under
We booked via Looking4Parking and as per the email instructions rang the dedicated number 30 mins before we were due to arrive at the Heathrow car park. I was told that Looking4parking had gone bust and the booking didn't exist, but I could email and get a refund. This really did not make sense, especially as Looking4Parking was still providing quotes online, but there was no direct number to contact L4P. Had it been via Holiday Extras it would have been okay. I called the car park number again from my husband's phone and was told again L4P had gone bust but if I went to Maple Parking in the same area they would sort us out. We felt we didn't really have a lot of choice as we had a plane to catch, and when we got to the car park the guys there confirmed we had no booking and put us on to their own customer services to see if we could book through them. £305 later and we managed to get a parking space for 2 weeks, on top of the original £95 booking! We really should've flown from Manchester which was nearer but dearer but hey, hindsight eh!
On return, car was fine and there waiting, but it wasn't Jetparks we parked with. As L4P still appeared to be up and running I emailed them about it and got a reply that didn't actually answer my questions about whether they had gone into administration, but they did say that my contract was with the external car park operator (in this instance Jetparks) and offered a refund. So I can only assume it is Jetparks in trouble though a courtesy email in advance of turning up at the airport would have been appreciated so we didn't have a mass panic and could have made less expensive alternative arrangements. I am still mystified though as a booking via Holiday Extras would have been fine, but it seemed to be L4P that was the problem at the airport so who knows...
Manchester parking May 2024
Manchester parking May 2024 - What a terrible experience with miserable grumpy staff.
Arrived and found the carpark fine, number plate recognition let us in, parked easily - so far so good.
There were two of us with sports luggage - carefully packed bikes in compact bike specific luggage - and we have travelled like this for 30 years.
There is supposed to be an airport bus every 15-20 mins - but the carpark was full of droves of people wandering around with bags like the aftermath of an natural disaster. We found our way to the nearest bus stop and wondered why there was a throng of people near the enterance.
The bus duly arrived and our now little crod of excited expectant travellers approached the bus and the doors opened and a grumpy driver told us in a miserable tome "no chance of getting you lot on here and I can't take bikes"..... Now a group of nervous for time not so happy customers.... "why dont you go to that stop there and wait" he advises a stop not too far away.
Twenty minutes later and the nervous but expectant crowd at the new stop get twitchy as we realise the stop is further round the car park thatn the last stop and we now notice the bigger crowd is waiting at the enternace for the bus to come in... which it does and immediately fills......
Now an exasperated bunch of nervous passengers worried about missing flights.... so we make our way to the first stop..... next bus pulls up and the doors open to which anotherr grumpy driver yells "Can't you read" - it does say on the front drop off only but this isn't visible to most of the crowd from the side of the bus.
The same bus does a circuit and comes back - "no room for bikes" (even though were near the front now) comes thw war cry.
We give up and order an Uber XL for us and the bikes which takes us around to the airport which is probably less than a mile direct footpath but a couple by road (they could have told us).
We were in the carpark waiting for over 90 minutes in all.
We got to the airport and were rushed through check in and security when we vented our anger, getting to be the last passengers on the flight.
On the way back we walked - took around 30-40 mins.
Overall a terrible service staffed by miserable unhelpful staff. This type of service can only be sustatined by a captive market who have nowhwere else to go.
If booking why not park somewhere else and use the extra time for a stroll to the airport because you'll need to leave an extra hour or two if you use this poor excuse for a service.
