Clear communication and my necklace looks good as new after gold plating. It's a very sentimental necklace to me so it's lovely to have it restored and looking great again. The postage instructions were all very clear and it came back to very well packaged.

Decent service overall. Communication was good, and the jewellery repair was completed without any major issues. While the work was satisfactory, it didn’t entirely exceed expectations for me. A solid option, but not exceptional.

Carl has just replated an eternity ring and rhodium plated 2 yellow engagement rings for me which had a lot of sentimental value. All 3 rings came back like new, they are lovely and I would highly recommend Carl.

I recently sent my 18-carat gold Edwardian 5-stone diamond engagement ring to Carl for a repair, and I am absolutely thrilled with the result. Originally, it was just a prong that needed fixing (so I believed), but Carl quickly identified additional issues, including a crack and structural concerns. He explained everything clearly and gave me two options: an interim repair or a full remelt and reconstruction.

I opted for the interim repair, and the result is nothing short of spectacular. The ring came back looking practically brand new! Polished to perfection and beautifully reset. You’d never guess there had been any damage or unevenness.

Carl’s skill, professionalism, and attention to detail are outstanding. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my jewelry now, whether it’s for repairs, plating, or anything else. Highly recommended!

I would recommend Carl 100%. I wanted a gold ring rhodium plated, he responded with a quote quickly. When I proceeded the ring was sent and returned in 3 this was because he was doing a rhodium run at the time. The ring was my Mum's Wedding ring it looks like new.
