I contacted Jio customer care for a recharge query. The executive was polite at first, but suddenly became aggressive and rude when I asked questions. She said the call was recorded and disconnected the call. Such behavior from a reputed company like Jio is disappointing. Customer support needs improvement.
Quite rubbish
Quite rubbish, to be honest. I have been a Jio mobile user for 4+ years - I've kept this number as my secondary number due to cheaper recharges however overtime I have noticed that network is spotty, the helpline never connects to an agent, the chatbot doesn't understand any query and has no option to talk to an agent. When I opted in for the Google gemini pro offer, there was no opt out option and Jio takes control of the membership disabling the ability to change it. Emails, Twitter posts and even LinkedIn posts tagging them got no response - arrogance of dehat billionaires Tbh. I've stopped recharging my number and I hope it eventually stops working on its own. Jio is a good example of companies whose owners can buy influence and infra but cannot build a world class service due to a lack of class and industry knowledge.
Airtel on the other hand has exceptional customer service and a considerably better grievance redressal. Even the near bankrupt Vi offers a better network and customer service.

Jio’s marketing screams about 5G speed, but the reality is a comedy of errors. The signal is as stable as a house of cards. One moment you have full bars, and the next, you’re staring at "No Service" in the middle of a city. The 5G-to-4G switching is so aggressive that calls drop every five minutes. It’s reached a point where you have to stand on your balcony like a statue just to finish a sentence.

Jio is acting like a data thief. Even without fully using my daily quota, it shows that the data is over and forces users to buy top‑ups. After switching to VI with the same 1.5 GB/day plan, I often end the day with more than 1 GB still unused. This makes me feel that Jio is unfairly consuming or misreporting users’ data.
