I contacted Jio customer care for a…

I contacted Jio customer care for a recharge query. The executive was polite at first, but suddenly became aggressive and rude when I asked questions. She said the call was recorded and disconnected the call. Such behavior from a reputed company like Jio is disappointing. Customer support needs improvement.

Quite rubbish

Quite rubbish, to be honest. I have been a Jio mobile user for 4+ years - I've kept this number as my secondary number due to cheaper recharges however overtime I have noticed that network is spotty, the helpline never connects to an agent, the chatbot doesn't understand any query and has no option to talk to an agent. When I opted in for the Google gemini pro offer, there was no opt out option and Jio takes control of the membership disabling the ability to change it. Emails, Twitter posts and even LinkedIn posts tagging them got no response - arrogance of dehat billionaires Tbh. I've stopped recharging my number and I hope it eventually stops working on its own. Jio is a good example of companies whose owners can buy influence and infra but cannot build a world class service due to a lack of class and industry knowledge.

Airtel on the other hand has exceptional customer service and a considerably better grievance redressal. Even the near bankrupt Vi offers a better network and customer service.

Jio’s marketing screams about 5G speed

Jio’s marketing screams about 5G speed, but the reality is a comedy of errors. The signal is as stable as a house of cards. One moment you have full bars, and the next, you’re staring at "No Service" in the middle of a city. The 5G-to-4G switching is so aggressive that calls drop every five minutes. It’s reached a point where you have to stand on your balcony like a statue just to finish a sentence.

Jio is acting like a data thief

Jio is acting like a data thief. Even without fully using my daily quota, it shows that the data is over and forces users to buy top‑ups. After switching to VI with the same 1.5 GB/day plan, I often end the day with more than 1 GB still unused. This makes me feel that Jio is unfairly consuming or misreporting users’ data.

We should give zero for jio networks. It has lost the market entire India. Last week I was in Nagpur, even their the network was bad n even data net was not working.Same is the case in Mumbai

Very bad experience

Very bad experience. Will not recommend to anyone. There has been no Jio network at my home for 3 days. I have already raised a complaint (SR00002UY5TV), but there has been no update or resolution so far. I am unable to make calls, use data, or send messages. This is highly inconvenient and unacceptable. Please take immediate action

Turning customer service into avoidance.

Polite language. Zero accountability. Infinite loops.
A masterclass in turning customer service into customer avoidance.
This chatbot clearly understands “connect me to an agent,” repeats it back, and then refuses to act. That is not AI support. It is engineered obstruction with a smile.
If your system’s primary function is to block customers from reaching humans, just say that. Do not dress it up as help.
Customer support that works harder to avoid solving problems than solving them.
Impressive in the worst possible way.

I recharged data plan and another data…

I recharged data plan and another data + voice plan, thinking my daily data finishes first and then can use the data allowance from data plan. But that wasn't the case, jio deducting the data from big data plan and daily limit is wasted.

AVOID JIO HAS MAIN NUMBER AND RECHARGING DATA PLANS. JIO SUCKS

Worst service my father has been using their service he wants to cancel that line as he changed his carrier It’s been 9 months they didn’t cancel. I don’t understand why wouldn’t you cancel a line when the customer doesn’t want to use it anymore what kind fraud is this.
