I would of given 5 stars if they had of altered my invoice on my new account I set up with them. I put a order in for 2x2 wood various lengths. They did not have some sizes I wanted so I had to pay extra for longer sizes. That worked out ok for me but they left my invoice as my original order so now I have no proof of the extra I paid them.
One piece I recived was badley warped/bent but when I said about it they ignored me. Can not ring them because of Covid and their site says they can not anwser the phone due to Covid.

I tried to order some furniture fom this company, it was out of stock (1 star deducted for an out of date website).

I was very concerned when reading these reviews myself so felt compelled to write one as well. My experince of this company (stock issues aside) has been pretty positive. They were very responsive to emails, tried to give me other options that might have been useful to me, and when I decided not to proceed, refunded my money very quickly.

Overall a positive experience!

It would have been 5 stars but the delivery was just that little bit too slow. Really good prices and if you're not in a hurry I would recommend buying timber from here. No problems with communication, you cant phone them as they don't answer the phone but this is stated on their website, but I emailed them and they phoned me back on the same day, I did this twice for updates and both times they called me back !!

Emailed an order through this morning at 9AM and the items were delivered this afternoon by a very nice, helpful chap. Even helped me to put the items in my garage as it was raining. Prices were cheaper than all of the big boys locally. Will be sending all my business to JMD from now on.

Only buy from here if you are not in a rush for your order. They wont give you a delivery date when you request them to they just tell you that you will receive a text before delivery. got told my delivery will arrive by the 10th but it is the 10th and haven't even had a text. At first they was replying to my emails but now they are not. Requested a refund as bought wood elsewhere so lets see how smoothly this refund gets processed once they acknowledge it!

Refunded day after asking for one so can't argue with that really.

I was pleased the furniture set arrived earlier than expected. The chairs are very comfortable for a tall person like me, you can easily sit crossed legged on them. The only downside is that it is difficult to make the table straight and stable on the grass if your ground is not perfectly flat. All in all a very good purchase so far, only time will tell how long they will last.

Ordered timber (which should be core business) 2 weeks ago. Selected a delivery date when ordering on line. That date passed one week ago without anything happening. Unacceptable that still have no delivery date. Am on the verge of cancelling credit card payment and starting again with a company that can that fulfil a timely delivery.

Jmdbuilding for me has been perfect, I ordered doors off of 3 different companies all said they had them but week later out of stock this went on for 2 months then I tried JMD. From start to finish they have been perfect phoned very polite staff phoned supplier to double check they had them phoned me back I ordered them now arrived a week later. Kept me updated throughout. If I could give company 10 stars I would.Thank you JMD

Placed an order on 02/11, received a text to tell me it would be delivered on 06/11. Waited in and nothing came. Despite ringing and leaving a message requesting for a call back 2 days running, I haven't heard anything. No response to my initial email, made another call this morning cancelling my order and requesting a refund, still haven't heard anything. Awful customer service.

Update: 13/11/20
The order 100% did not come to my address, I was in all day! A text confirming delivery is NOT an estimated delivery date. I spoke with someone from JMD who has said there was a mistake with the delivery company and that it could be delivered today. I refused and my refund has been processed, still isn't in my bank though

Do not go near this company. They are holding £107 of my money - were supposed to deliver last Monday. I have called 5 times and each time an told my message will be passed on and someone will call back. Nobody does. I have also emailed and still not had the courtesy of a reply. I appreciate times are difficult but they are also difficult for me. I just want my money back.

As my last review was flagged as false when it shouldn't have been I am writing another one.

No one ever resolved the issues I had with my orders from this company they contacted me once via trust pilot, never replies to my emails or phone calls.

My last order with these cowboys was 57136

Trust pilot please do not remove when the business is flagging all negative reviews.

In reply to your response below I do not require anything else from yourselves, I have given up complaining. The bad review serves as my complaint.

I had issues with 2 out of 3 orders from yourselves.

The timber you supplied was half the size I ordered yes the amount was correct but I ordered it at a set length for a specific job...

No one asked if it was ok to send twice as much of the half size lengths and you never bothered to get the company to remove the materials from my lawn they did that themselves when they realised their mistake.

1. Do not remove legitimate bad reviews. If you remove this one I will leave several more elsewhere.

2. My issues;
a: no one ever answered the phone despite calling multiple times, it just rings and rings.

b: sending wrong size materials

c: other people's heavy goods damaging my lawn

d : materials way overdue and no idea when they will arrive

e: lying on here making it look as if you tried to resolve the situation

I don't advice noone to buy from JMD building and supply ..worst company ever I sealed with ..they ignore your email ..calls ...they don't give you refund ...I don't advice noone to buy from them

I don’t usually write reviews but I feel I have to let people know how bad this company is. The wrong materials turned up from a 3rd party supplier 3 weeks after I placed the order, which I sent back. Fortunately the supplier was in the know and wouldn’t leave what I believed to be outdoor timber outside and told me what had been ordered from them wasn’t treated or suitable for outdoor projects. I contacted JMD immediately and struggled to get a response as not answering the phone and delayed email response. It took a week to hear back from them and they then blamed COVID and they ensured me they would rectify the problem ASAP by replacing the product. This was the last time I heard from them until I decided (After 3 weeks) to constantly ring them until they answered the phone, on a number of occasions I was cut off once they answered. I asked for a refund in the end which they gave me. My project is a total of 6 weeks behind because I ordered from JMD building supplies.

I would not recommend!!

Placed an order in April, weeks went by... I sent several emails,,and didn't hear back!

Weeks passed then my order arrived, followed by a call from the director asking me to remove or amend my review.

They have since taken the review option of their Gmail, so no reviews are visible unless you search on them on trust pilot.

Don't waste your time or money!

This company is a total let down, placed order on the 3rd of June and since then radio silent, I put a complaint on Facebook and they have blocked me, we received a text message on the 24th saying delivery finally scheduled for the 25th and no show, no email nothing! I recommend that you do not purchase another thing form them until they can show that they are not bust and that they can handle the business through covid, very angry customer who feels their after sales is very very very poor, they don't communicate to customers, this is an order value of over 300£... And to block me from Facebook because I have honest feedback is very under handed!

30.6 updated, still no delivery and still no communication even though we received a text message on the 23rd confirming delivery for the 25th ... 3 weeks after order placed?

THIS IS A FAKE ACCOUNT - THE ACCOUNT IS UNCLAIMED. INFO@JMDBUILDINGSUPPLIES IS ALSO FAKE, NOT USED BY THE REAL JMD. The REAL JMD are amazing. We've used them on many occasions. I think it's really sad that someone would be bored and lonely enough to create a fake account - furloughed maybe. Please ignore the comments on this account. I have used them and will continue to use them. I give them 10/10 all the way. Great, polite team too.

Absolutely fantastic service, not sure what everyone is moaning about to be honest. They couldn’t do enough for me and my family.can only assume these customers complaining did not read and understand the companies very clear Covid-19 statement.

Not dealt with a problem. 5 weeks since order was placed.

I placed a order with these first week in May. Now nearly to the month only had 1 reply to say they are sorry but can't give a delivery date even now. Their lack of communication is appalling and I urge you to go elsewhere if you need materials as these are not reliable or professional.

I ordered and paid for 2 sheets of plywood with a delivery date of the 12th May. The delivery did not arrive on the 12th. I called and emailed on numerous occasions but no answer. The delivery eventually came about 14 days later by which time I'd had to buy from wickes. I told the driver I didn't want them so he didn't unload and agreed to return .I've since heard nothing. I've emailed again and called on multiple occasions but no reply or response. Robert
