Terrible experience, delivery quicker than most reviews I’ve read (although was outside the promised delivery time) but returns have been a nightmare. Paid over £15 for a returns label that I never received, had to ask customer services 3 times for it. Eventually got it but with no instructions on how to return which meant 2 trips to the UPS drop off, and despite Jobe admitting they have received my return, I still haven’t had a refund over 2 weeks later and customer services have now stopped responding to me. Won’t buy from them again.
If I could give no stars I would. I ordered & paid for a wetsuit in May, expecting delivery in early June. Several delays occurred, although I was not informed of any of these. My item is now not expected until the middle of July so I have asked for the order to be cancelled & a full refund made. Initially I was told that this had been raised, however I have not received it & Jobe are no longer responding to my emails. I strongly advise people to avoid this company.
Honestly such a bad experience. Delays at customs as ups stated they didn’t have an invoice needed from Jobe. Jobe customer service terrible.
If you live outside Netherlands, dont buy any products from this company since there are no easy way of returning the products. Because the size chart did not match at all, i had to return the items. And that was expensive and diffucult! Customer service gave no service at all. And above all, I should have got a free product when signing up for their newsletter. I didn't get one. (Even though I pointed that out..)
In general i had a good impression of Jobe products. I own a neoprene west for crazy 80 bucks, some other towables and Wakeboard rope. Quality more or less good. Another towable is losing lots of its color during the years, even if i avoid putting it long time in the sunlight. But thats not a big deal. Im using the products to use them not to look nice.
Now comes the very bad thing:
I bought the Jobe Hydra 1p over 5 years ago, used it like 3-4 times during the whole period. Didnt have any problem. Now this year i wanted to use it again and: The "Inner" was defective, product is not usable anymore! AFTER USING IT FOR 3-4 RIDES IN TOTAL. This thing is over 100 Euros and gets broken after 4 rides. WHAT A JOKE. According to other review its a general problem of this 10-18y model of Hydra. You can read on eBay product review. The same happened to this guy! I contacted Jobe on Facebook but they are not willing to do anything besides a 10% discount on a 60€ replacement inner (note: a complete new Hydra 1P costs 80€). End of the story, they were still calling this move "goodwill" and dont want to give me any fair compensation. I even offered to send me customer returns but no.... Of course warranty is gone already but if a product breaks after 4 times of using it, something went very very wrong in the manufacturing/quality control process!Thats just shows how Jobe treats their customers even they made a clearly mistake by just producing JUNK products! I would have understand that if i use it heavily over the years, but if the product gets broke after 4 times using it thats just unbelievable. I cant blame the Facebook support, they get their guidlines from their bosses. Even as a honest Jobe customer i will stop buying their products and will tell my watersport friends about it.
