Had a good deal on the Gorillapo
Had a good deal on the Gorillapod kit, I already have one of the older 'pods, but wanted to upgrade. Heavier than expected, but looks and feels sturdy and without splay under weight. Box and packaging was damaged on arrival, which was disappointing, but the 'pod itself wasn't affected.

The stand I chose, whilst similar to the Manfrotto Pixy one had one special advantage, the horizontal setting.

Once I opened the box and tried to follow the instructions, that was a lost cause. Then I went to YouTube and saw the video from one of your associates (Mark-I believe) and that straightened out my issues. So I watched the video two or three times and had the tripod there to understand how things worked. And it is really pretty simple.

Cell Phone Adapter for my Gorillapod
I have two of the JOBY Gorilla pod camera tripods that I have used while traveling the world, and I LOVE them, but I now use mostly my camera for taking photos, and thus kept the tripods on a shelf collecting dust. I finally decided there must be an adapter for the gorillapods to allow them to be used with a cell phone. I called their Customer Service, who directed me to the correct adapter and I received it in a very short time (only a few days). It works and now I am able to use my JOBY Gorillapods again!! Thank you!
