I hadn't previously used the Services of Joe's Blooms for the preparation of a BNG Assessment Report
(now required in connection with a Full Planning submission) and I found the Online process very comprehensive. However, following some difficulty I was closely assisted by Oliver Lewis who was extremely helpful in completing the Online process for me.

This was the first time I had used Joe Blooms and I have to say they were extremely helpful and patient. BNG has become a complex element of the planning system and Oliver went through the whole process when I ran into difficulties. Excellent customer services and would highly recommend them

BNG was the one part of the planning application of which I knew nothing about. I started doing my research and it became apparent that the subject is unnecessarily complex and I would need help. I made contact with Joe's Blooms, Oliver called me and ran through my options. After I completed the basics of the calculations I contacted Oliver again and he took me, painlessly, through the rest of it, achieving the gain that was required. A complex process made simple. The level of service provided by Joe Blooms has become a very rare thing. I had literally no idea what I was doing, you pay a fee for the service but boy do you get a lot of value add. Any question I raised was responded to almost immediately, when it got complicated they actually phoned me to talk me through it, the actual website itself is good but the recommendation comes from the service you get around it. Exceptional

I started diving into the world of BNG requirements when my local council adopted it into their policies. I do not profess to be any kind of planning consultant but am happy to fill out forms for these kinds of jobs. When my applications started getting kicked back for biodiversity i didnt know where to start. i made calls to ecologists who wanted mega money or weren't interested at all. I finally fell upon Joe's Blooms and I am so glad i did! Richard & Oliver have been so helpful with my first application its taken the stress right out of the process. It gives you a step by step easy to follow proceedure to give you all the documents required.

Really great platform which took the sting (financial, for my client, and time wise) out of the BNG calculation. Totally intuitive and didn't take long to find my way around, particularly as it explains itself fully at every step. Joe's Bloom has been a great tool to use for individuals like myself needing to complete a BNG form for the first time. The step by step guide is so easy to use to navigate around the website and each step explains what each question is asking with prompts along the way. But what really made this website different from the rest was when I needed help, Oliver Lewis, Founder of Joe's Blooms, was straight on Zoom to help me answer some difficult questions from the planning officer. I recommend this website to anyone seeking to complete a BNG report.

If you found Joe's Blooms I assume that you, like me, were feeling rather overwhelmed by BNG and all the rules around it.. and were probably also panicking that it was going to cost thousands.. Well I'm now hoping that this tool has saved me some stress and ideally a few pennies! I'm so glad I booked a phonecall to discuss as Oliver basically held my hand the whole way through it and was available via email, phonecall and Whatsapp to advise, always responding quickly. Once I got all of the information in I couldn't believe how quickly the documents were generated. The tool is so easy to use (completely idiot proof) but really it was Oliver's help and advice (most of which was before I'd even signed up!) that made the process exceptional, he went above and beyond, even helping me with some wording to the LPA as my application isn't completely straightforward. 10/10 would recommend!

Approaching the BNG part of a planning application on the planning portal for the first seems pretty daunting. The support from Oliver was absolutely first class including emails, 'phone calls and a zoom meeting. He was so helpful and a pleasure to work with.

While the web-based system may present some challenges for individuals who are not trained ecologists, the extensive array of self-help options available is commendable.
