Simon, Scott and Lucas were amazing and brilliant today when they delivered and set up the lovely new double bed from John Doe - they did this cheerfully and enthusiastically, and were both friendly and polite, even offering to carry upstairs a king size mattress that the London removal company we had yesterday failed to do, and Simon, Scott and Lucas succeeded! They phoned ahead to advise their arrival time and were very careful and considerate when bringing the corner settee suite into the house. Assembled and removed all packaging and positioned settee exactly where we wanted it. Great service from a great team.

The John Doe team were excellent from start to finish from a very knowledgeable Simon in the Flooring department who spent a long time with us to get the right carpet for our needs to Damon in the office who kept us informed about our order to James and Freddie who fitted the carpet with great professionalism. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family. It’s so nice to have a real family firm to deal with in these days of multi national companies.

The shop is beautiful. The staff are extremely helpful and are always jolly and accommodating, patient too as I never feel rushed into making a purchase, especially as it takes me several visits to make a decision.

Disappointed - delivery taking too long
Disappointed that I was told the delivery time for the mattress would be about a week and when I called after a week, it's still two weeks away. I was told if they don't have many things to deliver to the Diss store they just wait until there is more. I bought a sofa that is probably still sat on the shop floor, to be delivered at the same time. If they had been honest and said the mattress would be three weeks I wouldn't have bought it - which is exactly why they weren't honest. So I'm still waiting... No offer of the sofa being delivered while we wait. I wouldn't shop here again

Kept informed on delivery date and time.
Simon & Scott phoned me before they arrived to tell me they were on their way.
Unloaded everything, then set to work putting the beds together.
There was a problem with a mattress being slightly too deep for the trundle bed. But immediately got on the phone to store, reassured me it would be sorted. They removed all packaging. Highly recommend bothe delivery men and John Doe for excellent customer service.
