it's happened once before, and it'll happen again to more people.

The biggest problem with buying any of joker's visa's or mastercard's is that even though you can activate them, you can't use them to buy anything online.
Thus meaning, the purpose of its very own design doesn't work. In it's own way way, it is false advertising.

If/When you try to call customer support, there is no real customer support. It is handled by a poorly made AI, likely scrapped together by someone who can't write any type of coding language.

It is a major scam due to one flaw that could likely be easily fixed, but won't be.

i wish they had under 0 rate stars , i purchase a card for my boss today exactly he tried to use it today online first time next to my eyes he open the package and as soon enter the information was decline in less than 5 min the balance $ 0 what a shame i went to shoppers drug mart where i bought it and complain and advice a lot of people to stop selling or buying this company cards really first time this happened to me and thanks god was just $100 but the best things that my boss was planing to get prepaid gift cards for the our customers and employees so was a alert for our company to get away from this company .

It's a total scam

It's total scam. I got mine card from Rexall yesterday it was activated by cashier . But when I was trying to use it online. They ask for registration. When registering it shows error Everytime. When call to customer service there is nothing to do . Don't know what to do now.

I recently received one of these Joker…

I recently received one of these Joker cards for my birthday. Even though it’s been 2 weeks since the purchase of it and even activating online(along with the “opt-in” bs) it still doesn’t work and now I can’t even check my balance on my phone or pc as some people recommend. What a joke of a company.

Customer service is an absolute 0 can’t even talk to a real person to get help on top of that I just spent 50$ on the card says I have 50$ gets declined on every single online purchase what a waste of money and time go and shove it where it stinks

Scam do not buy!!

Activated card with balance of $120.00 went to Winners to make a purchase and it was declined "unable to support" payment. Checked online and it was $0 balance. Went to the Shoppers Drug Mart it was purchased at and simultaneously had a fraud alert on my phone. Total scam and my poor kid lost her birthday money and I'm dealing with credit bureaus now. Will contact HQ for SDM tomorrow and advised local police of incident already. It's almost Christmas and the thought of the amount of people that are going to be scammed is sickening! Apparently right after activation the full $120 was paid to an unknown website! My kid is heartbroken and feels bad that people are losing money. So long story short DO NOT BUY, TOTAL SCAM!!

Deliberate sabotage in registration process

Absolutely horrible.
Deliberate sabotage during the registration process with the hope that you never use the money. Have send 5x different documents which were requested but not accepted.

Beware of PayPal scams

Got a $100 card as a mat leave gift. Used half and the other was lost to a PayPal transaction I did not make. Very disappointing that there are no protections against scammers using your card. Even more upsetting that this was a gift I couldn't use during a financially difficult time.

When purchasing any jokercard visa or mastercard and trying to register the card online or check balance, none of the sites work. The mind boggles these gong show clowns are still in business. This has been going on for about 12 months. If actually reaching them and speaking, they have said the same thing for 12 months that the problem is being fixed. Sounds like a total lie.

SCAM! NO REGISTRATION

How is this a legit card and website ? I got a gift card $300. And it says you must register so i go to the website and the registration doesn't work, and it says you have to call. The call is just robots. How about you spend some money and put an actual human who can solve the issues you may have ? The phone is a cycle, where it keeps telling you that you can get everything done in the website. You go to the website and since you can't register it says call the phone. I've seen these kind of web matrix traps before. They sell the product and ensure the customer can't get in hold of the company, absolutely terrible. Pathetic company, and god knows how many people have bought and just never used it. All money to them, buy mastercard, or another visa that isn't this joker brand. I made an account with trustpilot just to get this message across, annoying company.

SCAM ALERT – DO NOT BUY THIS CARD!

I am beyond furious. I bought a Joker prepaid Visa for $500 at a legitimate store, and when I went to use it within an hour it’s DRAINED to $0!!! There are phantom transactions listed that I did not authorize including $340 from some US website I never visited?? JokerCard itself has zero customer support no real humans, no fraud line, nothing.
I lost $500 on a brand new, untouched card. I don’t care about any “protection” they claim exists, it does not work. This is a SCAM company, and they are stealing people’s money. Stay the hell away from these cards.

I really hope this customer support reaches out to help because I have no idea what to do

UPDATE: Blackhawk network customer service reached out within a few days. Although I don’t think this is the actual joker card company I believe this is their head provider so I don’t wish to change my review on the product itself. But BHN investigated my case, asked for some details and eventually they gave me a call and confirmed that the transactions were not authorized. They very promptly issued me a virtual prepaid visa for the full amount of $500. The representative was very polite and helpful. He gave me his name and contact in case anything didn’t go as planned or if I needed anything else. Everything was professional, and I’m really grateful for their help.

I have a $50 Joker card

I have a $50 Joker card. I was able to register and the moment after registering the amount is immediately showing $5 less. Now I want to use it for no avail, all of them failed. I tried at Boston Pizza, Canadian Tire but of no luck. This card is a scam. Government should intervene and shut down their business before this will further escalate for more scammed consumers. If there is 0 rating that is what they deserved.

Jokercard is really a Joke

GET YOUR CARDS SCANNED BEFOTRE LEAVING THE TILL
I bought myself a card worth $25, and I legitimately had to wait and stop to watch the cashier, and even had to ask them. "Aren't you going to scan my card?" To which they was all "oh, yeah sorry."

ONLINE PURCHASE LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT REGISTRATION
After getting my card, I went to the site on the card, and I can't even register the card OR check the balance of the card. This is literally stacked against you, leaving customers in the dark about THEIR MONEY. Due to this alone, I will never buy Joker again. Not to mention how many people have left the till without even having their card scanned.

Jokercard is very untrustworthy, and I would suggest going through Paypal and ordering a prepaid visa from them. It will take longer, but at least then you wouldn't have to deal with such a shady company with your money.
