From modest beginnings in Enfield as a single store in 1971, Jollyes has now grown into one of the leading pet food superstores with over 100 locations across the UK alongside a market-leading position in Northern Ireland. From Perth to Plymouth, Newry to Norwich, at Jollyes customers can find anything for their pet, from pet food, pet toys and an array of pet accessories. Customers are actively encouraged to bring their pets into store, while customers shop because Jollyes people are passionate about pets. Potty about puppies and crazy for cats, no matter what the animal, store colleagues are always on hand to help with anything from product advice, to picking the perfect pet and accessories. Many stores also run community clinics offering vaccinations and other advice from trained vets. And if one of Jollyes stores isn’t close by, there’s helpful advice on Jollyes website where you can ask the expert. Jollyes was named 2023 Pet Retail Chain of the Year at the Pet Industry Federation Awards and was named best retailer under £250m turnover in the 2024 Retail Week awards. Earlier this month it was also named for the first time as one of the best big companies to work for in the Sunday Times annual survey. A full list of stores and advice for customers on owning a pet can be found at www.jollyes.co.uk. Don’t worry if you don’t have a store nearby, you can shop and find helpful advice on our website.

Poor Customer Service and Lack of Clarity on Return Policy
I recently purchased a dog boot from one of your stores, but unfortunately it didn’t fit my pet. When I tried to return it, I was immediately told by the shop assistant that due to a "hygiene policy," the item couldn’t be returned. This struck me as odd, so I asked for clarification, but the response was simply repeated without any further explanation.
After leaving the store, I checked Jollyes' return policy online and found no mention of such a hygiene restriction. I then called the store to ask where this policy was written, and was told it came from the area manager—who also apparently couldn’t point to any documented policy.
This experience was disappointing. Not only was the service dismissive, but it also seems neither the staff nor management are familiar with the company’s own return policies. At the very least, clear and consistent communication—backed by written policy—should be standard.
I hope this issue is looked into and that clearer guidance is given to staff in future.

utterly incompetent
The website is dysfunctional and so is management at the Edinburgh branch. They were unable to find records of any of my cats' Vaccination for Life scheme memberships, even though i was logged into my Jollyes account when making the booking for them. They phoned me twice while i was driving to the appointment, making me too late for that clinic and forcing me to divert to another clinic where their vet was going next, costing me an additional 66 miles of petrol, and extending the cats' time stuck in carriers in the car by an additional 3 hours! That next clinic (Glenrothes) sorted out within five minutes of my arrival what the Edinburgh clinic's management had been unable to do in four WEEKS! Note: FOUR WEEKS - as the booking was made four weeks in advance, very clearly flagging up the cats as already signed up and paid up to the Vaccinations for Life scheme - yet they waited until i was driving there on the day to raise questions about it!!! Like i say: utterly incompetent!
