I’m a Menopause, Pilates and Pelvic Floor Coach and I’ve been privileged to help women get fitter for 20 years. Julia’s Pilates sessions are joyful. Her calm but extremely knowledgeable demeanour guides you through all the moves perfectly. I love that she always offers different levels of all the moves so that you can work the body a little harder to get the most out of the time if you so wish. I relish my hourly sessions with her and would highly recommend to anyone.

After a stressful couple of weeks I was really looking forward to Julia’s Midwinter Restorative workshop. We started the session writing one word which summarised our week. Mine was ‘hectic’. After an hour of focused exercise and guided relaxation I was totally transformed. My word at the end which summarised my feeling was ‘calm’. I cannot recommend Julia’s workshops enough; they genuinely give you tools to transform your wellbeing.

Julia’s Pilates classes are enjoyable and friendly. Exercises have different levels of difficulty to choose from and numbers are kept small enough for Julia to see and correct if necessary how each individual does each exercise. She also adapts exercises for those of us with osteoporosis or osteopenia. My hour spent in class with Julia is the most important and valued hour of my week!

Due to work commitments and then COVID I took a break from Pilates. After 6 years of not seeing Julia I contacted her after doing pilates on holiday.
I am so pleased I did.
Julia is so in turn with the way out bodies work and talks through every movement and why.
I wish every town and village had a Julia to teach them Pilates.

Just got back from a beautiful Hanami mini retreat. It was a lovely Sunday morning event with the wonderful Julia and excellent food provided by Jojo. If you want to spend a morning relaxing with Pilates and Restorative Yoga followed by Asian inspired food overlooking the Nyewood countryside, then I would highly recommend signing up to Julias retreat. What a lovely way to spend Sunday morning. Thank you Julia
