Disappointing Experience with Misleading Product and Poor Customer Support

I had a very disappointing experience with Jumia. I purchased an electronic product that was incorrectly named and categorized, based on advice from their customer support team.

When I tried to request a return, I received no real assistance. I contacted their call center repeatedly for three weeks, but there was no proper follow-up or resolution.

The customer service is extremely poor and unresponsive. It feels like once you’ve paid, you’re left on your own, even if the issue is on their side.

In the end, I had no choice but to resell the product myself at half the price, which was a complete loss for me.

Based on this experience, I’ve lost trust in the platform and will not be purchasing from Jumia again.

I ordered two laptop chargers and I…

I ordered two laptop chargers and I received one hard drive - not at all related to my order. I completed the return online and sent the item back with the delivery guy the next day. Jumia processed the return and emailed me saying they processed the reimbursement. The reimbursement was for one charger, half of what I paid. I called the call center and was disconnected 4 times. Finally talked to someone and I explained that I only got half my reimbursement. He checked my order and said they would “take it into consideration.” I still haven’t been reimbursed for an item I paid for and never received ! Jumia kept 400 dirhams and still has it! I was shocked because they are such a big company. Do not order through Jumia because they could send you the wrong item and never give your money back for the item you paid for. Someone made a mistake and sent me the wrong order. Now the company isn’t taking responsibility. I am going to see if I can report this to consumer protection if there is such a thing in Morocco.

Jumia is a scam company! Avoid like the plague!!!

They'll sell you bad & defective products and offer no exchanges or refunds!! And it gets worse if you call their support..they're clueless and don't know what's going.on themselves.

Do yourself a favor & shop elsewhere!

I baught a watch from jumia the battery…

I baught a watch from jumia the battery drains very quickly when the screen brightness is up, 3 hours of use is something unjustifiable, plus jumia is just a dirty scammer I returned the product Yes, after 24h of use, they emailed me after 10 days saying the return is not accepted with no justification from their side Well
This is the last order I will make on this unsatisfactory platform , and i do not understand why you are offering return when you are refusing it from your side its just a piggy game for me .

bad quality products, bad customer service, bad site interface, also there is not enough informations about the products it's absolutely a scam site selling unoriginal stuff, that's what you'll get from 3rd world countries.

Incompetent service

Incompetent service, a customer service that have no idea what customer service is, I regret the waste of time that I spent looking and making an order through their website, and their excuse is that I didn’t answer the phone cause they called me the minute I picked up my phone to make a call so it went through to my voice mail, rather than wait and call back no, they just cancelled my order and when I did call the first responder had no idea what to do and she hung up and the second transferred me to someone to make the order again but “coincidentally” that item I wanted is no longer available. It’s amazing what flies as customer service in Morocco, for god sake be better I’m so tired of this 3rd world service! It’s 2023 get with the program and stop hiring 18 year olds that know nothing

Sham Store

I had never even heard of this store before I had a fraudulent transaction appear from my bank card. I attempted to get my money refunded via Chat, but the customer service person just kept saying that they couldn't find out who used my card details and to contact the police. The store is in Casablanca, I am in Australia. I work for an online store here, and our company would at least look into the transaction, and when found would be able to tell it wasn't me. This company is just a front for criminal activity.
