Fraudulent behavior and zero support

I am extremely disappointed and feel scammed by Jura. I purchased a refurbished machine from the official website, but it failed with "Error 6" within the 30-day return window. After contacting support, I shipped the machine back on December 21st. I was promised a replacement within 1-1.5 weeks. It is now January 8th, and I have received zero updates. They are completely ignoring my emails.

This is a ridiculous machine

This is a ridiculous machine. First, many of the components are plastic. When you're charging $3K for a coffee maker, you shouldn't cheap out on the components. Secondly, if you want the wif-fi connectivity they tout as a feature, you have to buy a $180 component to make if wi-fi enabled. Want the milk to stay chilled? Spend $500 on a separate milk chiller. This is a buffet of expensive items on top of the $3K machine to actually use the features they market and advertise. Would never recommend to anyone. Exploitive.

One plastic tab will take your Jura out and its not their problem

We found a small piece of plastic on the counter at the same time that the machine (Jura Z10) refused to work because the "drip tray not closed". The plastic was found to be a dislocated tab from the drip tray which engages a sensor. I called Jura expecting an apology and a rush replacement. Especially since the unit is only about 5 months old. Instead I got a very dispassionate customer service rep that told me 1) I broke it 2) it wasn't under warranty 3) $57 plus S&H for a replacement. I thought that for the price of these things that the company would be elite and extremely customer supportive. I found the absolute opposite.

It makes a great cop of coffee, but…..

It makes a great cop of coffee. We purchased 2 refurbished paying about $7400. We have had nothing but trouble sending them back multiple times for repairs. BEWARE when the warranty is out plan on spending $600 - $1500 to have them repaired.
Our mocha master won’t make an automatic latte, but for this money, I’ll steam my own milk

Jura have definitely dropped the ball…

Jura have definitely dropped the ball when it comes to customer satisfaction. I have owned a jura s8 for many years and recently upgraded. Firstly the machine was leaking water underneath- I thought these were tested before leaving the store. Secondly I received the fatherday promotion which is a mug warmer and it arrived today. Sadly it did not contain the Australian plug. I know this is minor things and Jura is quick to send a replacement however for such an expensive machine you would think they would pay more attention to what is being sent to the customer. Hopefully Jura up their game a bit as its a great coffee machine.

Second repair on $4k+ Jura Z10 machine!

I purchased the top of the line $4K Jura Z10 machine. In less than a year it had to be send in for a grinder replacement. After the repair it still did not work right. Now, for $530, it is having to be repaired a SECOND time for the same problem. I was told by Jura to "set all grinder settings to course". Tried it, but it did not work. The machine does not meet its marketed claim that it supports variable grinds for different coffee types. It can't even grind a full puck for a regular cup of coffee.

Disappointing that Jura is not willing to stand behind their products. I had a deLonghi machine for 15 years with no issues... I should have stayed with deLonghi!

A premium product without premium service- pass

Incredibly disappointed with the overall customer service from Jura. I’ve been an owner of an E6 for 5 years and have had a great experience with my machine. Until recently when it started leaking from the back of the unit.

Like many of the other reviews, customer service is near impossible to get a hold of (numerous calls waiting on hold for 40+ minutes and then hung up on because I didn’t get off mute fast enough).

Finally spoke with a manager and was told it’s $365 to send in for repair- no packaging sent to package machine.my question to her “why wouldn’t you send packaging to ensure a secure and safe delivery of a $1600 machine? What if it gets damages en route and cannot be fixed?” To which she said they do this all the time NEVER have issues.

I also pointed out my concerns from reading internet reviews of bad experience with repairs to which I was told to “take with a grain of salt”. Thousands of negative reviews and she’s saying it’s nothing.

Long story short- the cost of repair is astronomical and they only stand behind the repair for 90 days.

I wrongly assumes that a premium product would come with premium service. I am gravely disappointed.

For the same cost as a repair, I can get a beautiful and high end espresso machine from other reputable brands who actually stand behind their product.

You lost a customer, Jura. Either make a product you fully stand behind or be honest with your customers and price your machines fairly.

I purchased the Jura E8 in November…

I purchased the Jura E8 in November 2022, drawn by the brand’s reputation for long-lasting, high-quality machines. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing.

From the very beginning, my unit had problems. It arrived with a cracked water tank. When I went to exchange it at Williams Sonoma, I was treated as if I were asking for a favor rather than seeking a resolution to a legitimate issue. Eventually, the supervisor stepped in, acknowledged this was a known issue, and ordered a replacement tank. That tank arrived missing the white covering, so I had to return again to get yet another tank. Not a great start.

Just before the 2-year mark, the milk system failed. It was repaired and sent back to me. Less than a year later, the same issue has returned—this time with an added loud knocking noise when grinding beans. I’ve always used only Jura-approved beans and milk, and yet the machine continues to fail.

To make matters worse, the customer service I received was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I was told I now need to pay $350 for a repair—on a $3,000 machine that should last for years and certainly more than a year post-repair. Another representative told me my only option was to pay $86 just for shipping, so I paid it.

I either received a lemon or the quality of Jura products has seriously declined. After all the hassle, I’m seriously considering tossing the machine the next time it breaks—which, at this rate, seems inevitable.

I purchased this machine because friends raved about having theirs for over a decade with no issues. That has not been my experience. Unless something changes, this will be my last Jura product.

Thank you Jura Outlet

I made a purchase from Jura Outlet, and there was a slight delay in the processing of the order. One of the first guys from Jura was very helpful and directed me to the telephone option - Jura Outlet sales (I appreciate this is the Jura.com) When I got through to the Jura Outlet the person I needed was on a day off. The staff were great, very helpful and my machine was despatched from store to UPS. I was dubious about the expected delivery time (today) but was reassured it would arrive today (& it did) I nearly laid down flat at this astonishment. We have used Jura.Com before and the servicing team have been excellent, so have the machines. I was surprised to see so many one stars. I can only comment on my experiences. 5 stars - Thank you to Paul, to Morgan for their patience and super helpfulness. Over the moon with the new Jura Z10 coffee machine. It is all singing all dancing and actually makes coffee too!! Fabulous thank you to the Jura team.

Just horrible - seems like a scam

Bought my Jura S8 in 2019, and it worked fine for about four and a half years, then started leaking. Got a service and two new seals, which they charged me and I paid for even though it was within the five year warranty according to norwegian law, figuring the seals had been worne and a service was due after breewing about five thousand cups. A year after it starts leaking again, and I pay about four thousand NOK to replace the dispenser valve (and another service I do not know why was needed after just a year). This time I told them I obviously couldn't keep sending the machine in for expensive repairs every year or half year and asked them to do a thorough exam and obviously replace parts that seemed worned.

Six months later, and its leaking again. I call them and say I'm not paying if this is caused by worne out parts like seals and hoses etc. that should have been replaced the last time. I send the machine in once more, and this time the reply is in a different tone og voice than previously: The grinder is set too fine for the beans and there is filth in the water inlet, both causing too high water pressure, which again has damaged the dispenser valve, a hose and two seals - accompanied by several pictures of a dirty coffee machine from different angels (coffee smudge, grains and one picture of limescale where the water tank is placed) and of the inlet with coffee fragments in it.

It's obviously a standard routine for me to adjust the grinder when I switch to another type og beans. It might have been set a bit too fine this last time, but that is the exception. I clean the machine regularly, including cheking the water inlet. But this time I removed the tank for it to dry up, and used a press jug just beside the machine, sometimes spilling some grains on the counter that probaply also got in the inlet. Either way a few tiny coffee fragments couldn't have blocked the water flow to the extent that it caused the water pressure to rise. Also I clean the maschine regularly, both on the outside as well as following the instructions for rising and descaling - and of course did so before sending it as well. Now I wish i had documented this by taking my own pictures, but I have a friend as a witness; that smudge got on it either because of some leakage during transport, which happened the last time both back and forth, or at Juras repair shop. Still, how that is supposed to be relevant for the functionality, though, I do not know.

Jura is constructing the narrative of me being at fault and not them, and such having to pay them another around 4500 NOK when in reality the quality is crap / they didn't do a proper job the last time.

I was fooled once into thinking this was a swiss high quality brand, which now instead seems like a complete scam in more ways than one.

Was a pleasure to deal with these poeple from start to finish.
Professional, friendly and superb all-round service.
Got through to the same people, they remember your name! All the things great about local shop service, but available nationally!
My machine sprung a leak and it was overdue a service, so i booked it in. They send a secure crate to pick it up to ensure nothing gets broken in transit.
Came back like new! Service wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for - they replaced a lot of key parts like the brew group, dispenser valve etc and they also replaced the leaking pipe.
Brilliant service, i won't send my precious machine anywhere else.

I bought Jura S8

I bought Jura S8 and in 6 months it broke. Now I have been waiting for a week for them to send me a box in which to put the device to be sent for service. Today they gave me an email saying that it will take longer. I don't want to think how long it takes the repair. I asked them to take the product and refund my money. But they said they don't have this policy. After 3 repairs they can refund my money.
I do not recommend this company.

Good tasting coffee - Disapointing reliability and assistence

I am giving it 2 stars because the coffee does taste good for a superautomatic, but only while the machine works.
I have a Jura ENA 4, over the 2 years of warranty I had three different problems. The first 2 the assistence could solve them and it was ok. The third they could not solve, I sent the machine multiple times to the assistence and the machine returned in the same state: there was water coming out from the back. After the first intervention seeing that they could not solve the problem they started blaming me for improper use, things like the grinding setting is too coarse, or you are not using the right coffee beans. After quite some effort, luckly the shop where I bought the machine interviened and finaly I received a new machine. So, the problem got solved and I can still enjoy delicious coffe but I have no high hopes of this lasting for very long.

Jura's non-existent repair quality control

I have owned my Jura Z6 for six years. During this time I have religiously maintained the machine as instructed by Jura. My Z6 has broken down 5 different times in throughout the last six years. I have been able to troubleshoot and repair it myself (using parts ordered from Jura) three of those times.
The other two times the machine had to be sent back to Jura for repair. The first time the repair was successfully completed under warranty with no cost to me, just the inconvenience of boxing it up, shipping it back and being without it for 2-3 weeks.
The most recent breakdown of the machine resulted in me having to send it in to Jura for repair. They now charge $500 to repair my Z6 regardless of what is needed to repair it. I said "ok" I have $4000 invested in the machine I'll spend $500 to get it working correctly again.
The reason I sent the machine in is because it would not fill with water or draw milk from the milk chiller. I had worked with Jura customer service over the phone to try to resurrect the machine but nothing worked.
Two and a half weeks later I get my Z6 back from Jura. Excitedly I go through setting everything up looking forward to enjoying a cup of coffee from my Z6 only to discover that the machine will not fill with water AGAIN! Despite everything I try they had my machine for two weeks claiming that they replaced certain parts but apparently never verified that the machine actually worked before they sent it back or that they had solved the issue that I sent it in to repair.
I call Jura customer service and they offer to have me send my machine back to them (another 2-3 week process) or they will send me a Refurbished Z6 that I would have in 3-4 days. In the interest of time and trusting the quality of a "refurbished" machine I chose to receive the refurbished Z6.
I received the refurbished Z6 as advertised in 3-4 days. Again I was excited to have my coffee machine back in my possession. After I set it up I attempted to brew a cup of coffee only to hear the machine make loud buzzing noises as it cycled through the process. My old Z6 never made any noises resembling the noises that this "good as new" machine was making.
So, I called Jura customer service AGAIN. I let them listen to the noises that the machine was making and they agreed that it should not be sounding like is was
I stated that I was not comfortable accepting this obviously flawed machine as my "new machine". The customer service representative then offered to send me out ANOTHER refurbished Z6 along with return shipping labels for both machines to which I accepted.
Three days after this had been arranged I receive a call from Jura telling me that they have cancelled the next Z6 that was supposed to have already been shipped stating that they will not ship another machine until they receive the other two machines back!
All I want is for Jura to do what they said they would do and deliver to me a Z6 that works as it should.
Obviously Jura has no quality control in their repair line as they failed to repair my original machine and they sent me a refurbished machine that was seriously flawed. Apparently no one verifies that the machines they repair or refurbish actually function as they should before pawning them off on unsuspecting customers.
I am greatly disappointed in the lack of quality control from Jura and the disrespect that I received from their customer service representatives. They are not deserving of the title "The Rolex of coffee machines. Therefore I highly recommend that you not spend your hard earned money on anything Jura produces and look elsewhere for your automatic coffee machine needs.

Nothing short of superb dealing with…

Nothing short of superb dealing with this outfit. I broke off a piece of the hopper ( my fault for rough handling ) and the piece went down into the "guts" of the machine. Couldn't get it back together. Called the compay and asked if they can fix. No, but we'll send you a new grinder on the cheap, they said. So I got a brand new grinder, with no shipping costs for approximately 40 per cent off the market rates. I got it in 3 days. In case any of the big cheeses from Jura are reading this, the customer service rep I dealt with was "Toni". Hope they promote her. The grinder I have is an Infinity Conical Burr grinder, and they are awesome machines. Don't eff it up like I did by putting in the parts backward.

over-priced, cheaply made parts. Broke down after almost 3 years of use (4 cups of coffee a day) and they want at my cost to ship the machine to them for repair with a cost to repair a minium $288. I thought Swiss made good products. Built like China builds, cheap garbage with a huge an expensive cost. I will now purchase from their competitor, a De'Longhi from Italy. Do not buy a Jura. You will be sorry. Absolute garbage. You might as well throw the $1,288 out the window or you can give $1,288 to a charity.

Disappointing coffee machine and…

DONT DO IT! BIGGEST REGRET AND WASTE OF MONEY...ALONG WITH TERRIBLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
A coffee machine should be able to make a coffee on demand....not this one!
I had the worst experience with Jura. Our first Jura E8 completely failed at its primary purpose—making coffee—and had to be returned while still under warranty. Hoping it was just a one-off issue, we purchased another Jura machine, only to face problems within four months.

Their customer service is abysmal, offering no real solutions and constantly blaming the user instead of addressing product faults. It's frustrating and unacceptable for a brand that markets itself as high-end.

Avoid Jura at all costs! Choose another brand and spare yourself the headaches, poor product reliability, and nonexistent customer support. What a waste of time and money!
JURA- FIX YOUR PROBLEMATIC MACHINES!!
