Just Tyres - Basingstoke Reviews 

Super quick, figured out the issue straight away. One of the guys even noticed the wheel nuts hadn’t been torqued properly and did every wheel for me. Would highly recommend using these guys. Will and Leo both first class.

Ordered a tyre to be fitted the next day in Basingstoke which was not delivered to the center. The staff there were helpful and after calling around, Head Office promised delivery two days later. I dropped my car off as requested first thing in the morning and despite the promise, the tyre still was not delivered. I had to take my business elsewhere. Just Tyre were not the cheapest supplier but i wanted to patronise a local business which turned out to be a waste of time. I give two stars only because of the efforts of the Basingstoke center manager in trying to solve the problem.

Had a last minute tyre issue, Callum and Will were super helpful and mega polite. Can't recommend enough. Thanks a lot.

This is a review for Just Tyres in Brunel Road, Basingstoke:

I ordered 2 tyres online via justtyres.co.uk on Tuesday morning, to be fitted Wednesday afternoon. All good so far.

Wed: I visited at the appointed time only to be told the tyres hadn’t arrived. No explanation was offered & no attempt was made to find any tracking information.
While I was there, another chap came in enquiring about having a puncture repaired. He was told they couldn’t do it as they had run out of repair patches!

Thurs: I went back – no change.

Fri: I went back – Still no tyres, but the manager had just spoken to head office and another pair of tyres was going to be sent out for arrival sometime on Monday.

Tues the following week: I visited again and the tyres had arrived. I watched while they were fitted and was dismayed:

They (both fitters) removed the old tyres without deflating the tyres first. This causes explosive deflation, which is not safe in my view. I wonder if they’ve got a risk assessment for that.
Then I noticed that the tyre valves hadn’t been replaced. I was told they had run out! They also said that they had run out of balance weights earlier & had had to go out and buy some more out of their own pocket! Not replacing old valves is a breach of contract and likely also a breach of their duty of care to the vehicle user.

I insisted that the existing 8-year old valves must be replaced and that if they couldn’t do that I would take my wheels back without the new tyres. They did manage to scrabble about looking everywhere & eventually came up with 2 new valves. They also don’t appear know that a tyre should be fitted so that the "red dot" on the tyre is located opposite the valve.
I had to ask for the receipt paperwork.

I can’t trust that the wheels are properly balanced, so I will take them elsewhere to be re-done.

This is the worst service I have ever had at any tyre centre in 40 years, and in my view some of the work was done in an unsafe manner. They also seem to be incapable of keeping stocks of vital items required to Just replace Tyres. I will never return – not without someone from the HSE in tow. They’re only 1 mile away.

I was after a particular tyre and needed it fitted on the same day. I saw it on "Just Tyres" Website early morning on Thursday 11th July but wasn't able to get it fitted at my local Just Tyres in Basingstoke for the same day as the option was not there for me to do so.

I rung "Just Tyres" Customer Services and they could not have been more helpful if they tried.

I explained my situation to a lovely lady by the name of Ceri, and within 5 minutes it was all sorted.

She ordered the tyre and arranged for it to be delivered and fitted at my local "Just Tyres" in Basingstoke @ 5pm.

I turned up @ 16:50 and was seen to straight away by William and his colleague.

The colleague could not have been more helpful, he was very courteous, polite and chatty, but most of all went the extra mile. They had run out of weights for my particular alloy and meant I would have had to have come back another day to have wheel balanced.

But not to be deterred, the colleague hunted round and found 3 weights that were just the right amount for the wheel to balanced correctly, I was well pleased and couldn't thank him enough for his perseverance.

I left "Just Tyres" Basingstoke a very happy customer and would not hesitate to go there again for any future tyres.

All in all a brilliant experience from both Ceri at Customer Service and Will and his Colleague at Basingstoke.

The guys were very helpful, efficient, knowledgeable and polite. Would not hesitate to go back to them again.

Booked and paid in advance online - pretty much the cheapest in the area for the tyres I wanted - turned up and wasn't kept waiting like I would be at other places, and instead got to drive straight in where a couple of people got straight to work. All four tyres fitted, tracking done, in and out in about 20 minutes maximum - will absolutely use them again in the future!

Been several times now for tyres on the family cars. On one occasion had issue with the balancing on a wheel that they put a tyre on but on popping back round they were very helpful and got it sorted with an apology. Can’t fault the guys that I’ve dealt with at Basingstoke. Will use them again.

Poor information and customer service. Please read between the lines before ordering. Their honesty levels are shallow. Since I have questioned the branch operations guy refused to do the wheel alignment. When I raised a complaint the manager called me. He was trying to protect his branch guy when I started to tell him about CC camera proof he apologised. It looks for me like they are not taught to deal with customer complaints. Avoid Just tyres

Recommended by local manager to buy Sportrak tyres, but unable to buy online.
Bought Kumho tyres instead.

Ordered and paid for 2 tyres. Turned up to have fitted and only 1 had been delivered. Why dont they check off deliveries on receipt? They said theyd get then other tyre delivered and call me. Its been a week now and no call. Disgusting service if I am honest.
